I was in the mood for something sweet and spotted this donut shop I've never seen before. It was almost closing time when I walked in. Staff wasn't too friendly or helpful when asking what kind of donuts they had left. There wasn't much to choose from but there were a few racks on wheels full of fresh donuts but I guess those are for tomorrow. I got a couple to try and they were pretty pricey for being old donuts. They were a bit dry. I will come back again mane in the morning when there's more to choose from.

We love BomBom donuts! We usually catch them at the otay ranch farmers market but if we're in the mood for donuts on days other than Tuesday we will make the drive. Their crème brûlée and banana cream donuts are to dieeeee for.

Do not come here for donuts, they sell molded 1-3 day old donuts here. I spent $19 for a Glazed dozen and they tasted 1-3 days old, and had MANY MOLD SPOTS on each of the 12 donuts...what a horrible business practice. $25 for a "Bakers Dozen" (13 donuts), $24 for Dozen of your choice, $19 for a Glazed Dozen. Ridiculous. I am a donut connoisseur and I KNOW DONUTS. I tried to give them another try after over a year. I walked in and no customers were there. The staff workers ignored me, strike . Then, after about 3mins, I said good morning and a young man was crouched behind the counter (strike 2 hiding from me) and he helped me. The glazed dozen I got ($19 + $1 tip) is all old donuts with mold spots on them. I will never come here and give them another opportunity again.

Friendly and patient service. 7 of us and took some time deciding what we wanted. The server recommended the Horchata Donut and it was very delicious, soft and chewy. Everyone loved their choices but mostly because the donuts were as I described. Definitely would come again

Honestly, I forgot to take a picture of the apple fritters but that was the best one I ate at Bonita donuts. There were Ube, donuts, chocolate, and this horseshoe donut that I really enjoyed. The lady in front was so sweet. She let us stay for a little bit while the rain kind of stopped. Cute little place for desserts!

We were greeted when we went in and i think the kids were the ones helping run the shop with Dad sitting on the side doing admin work. The girl who helped us was really nice. There was a nice variety and they had plenty to choose from. Vegan churros seem to be an option on the menu. They also have a creative way of dispensing their cafe drinks. It's one of those beer dispensers with the lever but it's cafe instead. I thought that was cute. We decided on the ube, maple, chocolate. Tasted fine and fun to try.

If you're looking for the ultimate treat, these filled donuts are a must-try. The dough is incredibly light and airy, coated in just the right amount of granulated sugar for that perfect crunch. We tried the strawberry cream (that fresh strawberry on top is such a nice touch!) and the rich chocolate hazelnut. Both were bursting with filling and not overly sweet. 10/10 would recommend grabbing a box for your next road trip! 5 stars THE BEST s

2/3 doughnuts. I ate half of one and tossed it out. One Boston crème, and one glazed.

I feel the doughnuts are overpriced for what they are. You could go somewhere else for a better experience and save money. There's a sign in the front that says if you leave a yelp review... you get a free doughnut. There is no clear pricing in regard to the doughnuts visually. When I asked how much it was, I was told $2.50/ doughnut. If that's the case, why was I charged $8.00 plus tax for three doughnuts? Shouldn't that be 7.50 plus tax? I thought that was ridiculous. I paid, but definitely not coming back here. As for the POS machine it was input as a custom item. I think for customers it would be better if the receipt showed what you're paying for (ex: one fruity pebble doughnut).

Dozen glazed donut holes. Was told $5.45 at register. Because I paid cash, it was $5.00. Overpriced for fresh donuts.

I really want to try this bom bom donuts. It's so good and right amount of sweetness. The filling is also amazing! I bought one for a friend and she loves it too. The service is excellent!! The place is nice and clean. The fresh donuts smells amazing !! They have a lot of unique flavors and topping! Will definitely come back to try different donuts and flavor! I want to try the churro also!

It was National Donut Day today, so I decided to try a local donut shop. Got there around 0740ish, ordered a dozen donuts. Service was good. Went into my car and was going to eat a donut then I noticed a hair. Went back inside, informed them about what I found and gave me a fresh batch. Got home, about to serve my kids breakfast and I noticed 6 suspicious dots on the sugar donut. Then I started eating the chocolate twisted donut, it didn't taste right and then I found 3 suspicious dots at the bottom - didn't even finished it. I was nauseated and crampy the whole day. Then I checked the other donut, the twisted glazed had some suspicious dots as well. I gave my mom some donuts and she said the ones she got tasted sour. I had to throw most of the donuts, what a waste. This is the first time I got sick from eating a donut =( My husband are the horchata donut, he didn't get sick and he said it tasted good. A bad batch? But the donuts smelled fresh and donuts were soft. Would I come back? This was my first and last time to go there.

    Glazed donut with MOLD

I'm really disappointed with this donut shop. I've noticed mold in some of the donuts, which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, they haven't been consistent with their hours - I've shown up multiple times during posted business hours and they were closed. The phone number listed is also disconnected, so there's no way to check before making the trip. Not sure what's changed, but over the last few months the quality and reliability have gone downhill. It used to be so much better.

$25 for a dozen donuts? That's almost twice what my local shop charges. Ridiculous. And nothing was any better than anywhere else.

We parked and noticed nearly all the lights were off. The pastry cabinet was empty, the tables were taped off. But people were inside and customers were in line. Emotions and energy were low, it was quiet and dim vibes all around. We walk in and see just one man working the cashier and making the drinks. He looked puzzled, a bit lost. We get in line behind someone ordering 4+ drinks and see that this guy didn't really know how to make the drinks. He was misplacing the ingredients and wasn't fully confident operating the payment system. The back counter was cluttered with miscellaneous gadgets, appliances, and syrups. It took nearly 20 minutes for the customer in front of us to get from ordering to receiving their drinks and we just watched in slight awe. The guy was apologetic and upfront, he was trying his best in a bad situation. They made some small talk and hinted that they were closing due to supply chain disruptions in Hawaii. I feel for them and wish them well. The coffee itself was ok. Flavor was decent but somewhat unremarkable. They offer different caffeine levels, up to I think 400mg in a drink. I just got the 200mg coffee. Don't know if I just built a tolerance but I fell asleep right after. We did want a pastry but with the baked goods cabinet empty, we weren't sure what they had left to offer. There was a long sign listing everything sold out between the pastries and coffee flavors. Overall the experience was odd and left a slightly bitter emotional taste in my mouth. They've acknowledged that they weren't in the best condition at that point and I do feel unfair to judge them at their worst. If they turn it around, I'm opening to revisiting. But for now, I don't feel compelled to go out of my way for it.

The interior is designed well and feels homey--the vibe is almost halfway between a second-hand shop and your cool uncle's home workshop. The masala chai and the matcha latte are both really good. You can tell that the ingredients are high quality, and that the owner cares about what he's doing. He's hired a staff member part-time which also helps a lot with order speed and receipt of drinks.
