This is a great place to come for specialty donuts. I don't come here for so much for taste or consistency but for a spin on different variations of desserts on a donut. For example, the unicorn donut is cute and sugary. There is a red velvet donut that is pretty cool and provides a twist on flavors. The lemon donut is like a mini lemon cake, and yummy. The Churro donut is special. There is a Nothing Bundt Cakes that is a couple of doors down. This Donut Bar offers coffee and beverages with your dessert. It is always clean. It's a bit tight on space when coming in to order and pay. I like the downtown location as they are much more better at customer service. This location always seems to be empty at first, then someone will come from the cooking area to take your order, not greet you. First time ever trying Donut Bar & they did not disappoint. They have fun decorated donuts. I'm pretty sure there's a flavored donut for everyone's taste buds. They even have big donuts that are definitely shareable! I wish they had small options as well such as donut holes, but it's ok! Their large selection makes up for it. The coffee is really good too. Pro tip; kids get a free donut on Mondays and Tuesdays. But they choose the donut for them. I wish I knew this today (Tuesday). I ended up paying $4 for a donut for my toddler. 07/12/25 - We came here today to participate in the #toogoodtogo program. (Highly recommend you check it out!) We were greeted by Luis and he was so nice and had a big smile on his face the whole time. Me and my friend were being silly but he matched our vibes. We also ended up getting the iced mexican mocha and it was soooo good! Definitely would get that again. Come by and visit my friend Luis and he will take care of you. This cute donut shot is located in a real busy shopping center which means, first thing off the bat, parking can be tricky. The establishment is real small and has a decent amount of donuts to choose from... Donuts...I was naughty and ate both my donuts in a day and I cab tell you they were tasty. It's been a while since I last visited the Donut Bar. I ordered one of my favorites #BigPoppaTart and my friends ordered the #BostonCreamPieBat. We loved the doughnuts I also ordered an #IcedCoffee with vanilla which was recommended by the server. It was delicious. I appreciated the creativity and big size of the donuts but the actual donut itself was just ok. We got one cinnamon sugar and one Homer for the kids. I tried to convince them to try a unique one like butter beer but oh well! I had hoped it would be light and fluffy but the outside was not as soft as I expected. Stopped by here to grab a special donut for a 5 year old birthday girl! Of course she wanted their famous Unicorn donut. The shop itself is located with a bunch of trendy type shops. But the layout of the shops were cute, reminded me of walking through Disneyland shops. First impression upon walking in was that their donuts were on the bigger side. Even their donut holes was the size of golf balls. I'll be honest, I only had their donut holes and it was pretty good. I tried the two versions that were there at the time: sugar glazed and sugar donuts. Both were good. The shop itself was small, but we went early on a weekday morning so it wasn't that busy at all. Big donuts that are honestly a 3-4 person serving, nice price. Quality flavor, friendly staff, but this was an odd company. They don't have any cutlery and cannot cut the donuts for you. They don't have any plates either, or napkins. We ordered a box of donuts and 2 lattes, so I'm not sure what happened but it was a weird experience. Glad they opened up a Donut Bar here in Eastlake so I don't have to drive all the way to downtown and struggle to find parking to get my fix! The store is located in a large shopping plaza with plenty of parking spots. Majority of the donuts here are larger than traditional donuts, but that's part of the appeal. Some flavors in my opinion are overly sweet and some are just right, it all depends on your sweet tooth. They have a donut called the Big Poppa that has an entire pop tart in the center of the donut. I prefer the yeast donuts over the cake ones and my go to flavor is the lemon pistachio, which they don't have all the time. Another really popular one that isn't advertised too much is their French toast donut, which is prepared on the griddle and served with syrup, eaten with a knife and fork. They even matched the colors of the Christmas tree ornaments to the white and pink theme of the shop. It is not filled but was the heaviest donut I have ever picked up. Yes, it is large but it is heavy due to being more the consistency of a dense bread rather than a donut. I lookes around and there was no acknowledgment or any greetings. I picked 5 doughnuts and the entire time I didn't hear a single word from the worker. The young man seemed very unhappy. This location of Donut Bar is the only one I have been to, so I have never experienced crazy lines, completely sold out donuts before noon, or alcohol with my treats such as the downtown location. I would rather avoid all of that, which is why the Eastlake location is perfect. Don't get me wrong-- there are definitely moments where the line is long, but the most I have personally waited was around 10-15 minutes, which is not unreasonable. I remember prior to the pandemic, this location was closing down. I was so sad because I had never tried it! Then, they re-opened during the pandemic, and just decided to stay for business. I believe they got new management too, but not too sure how recent that change was. Donut Bar has speciality donuts, so you will find anything from girl-scout cookie inspired samoa donuts and maple bacon bars, to creme brûlée donuts and Nutella-filled carbs. For this reason, their donuts can cost $3+, with the best expensive (that I have gotten) being $6. I've had my share of just "okay" donuts because they were flavors I was unsure if I'd like but wanted to try, but for the most part, the usuals I get do not disappoint. Their donuts are fluffy and flavorful. Also, they have extended hours on the weekends, so if you miss your opportunity for morning donuts, they will most likely have fresh batches after 5pm. read more
