Not seeing it takes away a little of the magic. And no drive-thru? Donuts are practically designed for drive-thru behavior. This was some of the worst customer service I have experienced in quite some time. I was unfamiliar with the menu and had forgotten my glasses, so I explained that I could not see it clearly. Instead of helping me understand the options or mentioning that ordering a dozen might be a better value than ordering six individually, the employee repeatedly said, "We follow the rules here." When I politely asked whether there were any samples so I could see what I might like, she replied, "We only give samples to kids, and you're not a kid." Another employee responded more professionally and simply explained that samples were unavailable. What bothered me most was not the policy--it was her dismissive attitude, the way she spoke to me, and how carelessly she threw the doughnuts into the box. I was only asking for assistance. Disappointing Visit I stopped by the Krispy Kreme in Eastlake around 7:30 PM, and I was really disappointed with the selection. The store doesn't close until 10 PM, yet they were already completely sold out of the original glazed donuts and only had a small handful of other flavors left. What was even more frustrating was seeing multiple customers come in, look at the nearly empty cases, and walk right back out. With more than two hours left before closing, I really don't understand why more donuts aren't being made or why the store isn't better prepared for the evening crowd. I completely understand that certain flavors can sell out, but having almost no donuts available that early in the evening at a Krispy Kreme is pretty disappointing. If you're going to remain open until 10 PM, customers should still have a reasonable selection to choose from. Hopefully management can work on keeping the cases better stocked throughout the evening because clearly there were still plenty of customers coming in wanting to buy donuts. read more

Krispy Kreme donuts always lives up to the hype. This time with their Harry Potter back to Hogwarts collection. Yes, the Eastlake store is small and space is small which can get crowded, but I always order donuts online for pickup and it's super easy since they have a special line for mobile Orders, never had any issues. Sometimes the app acts up, but a quick reinstall fixes it. They have lots of rewards for customers who use their APP if you're a regular and if you sign up with your email they'll send you specials too! I love going for every occasion...Halloween, Christmas and more because they always have something fun and exciting to try. Disappointed! I drove 27 minutes out of my way to pickup donuts for my daughter's birthday. She wanted the over the rainbow donut. I should have opened the box but for over $3 you would have thought they would have out the rainbow on the donut, I am extremely dissatisfied with what I have to give her in the morning. Been here twice now. Always seems to be busy here. It's a smaller location and the line can get quite long. Always someone holding up the line not knowing what they want lol. I dont like the coffee at all, probably the worst of all the donut places. Dunkin is 10 times better. They get all the donuts trucked in around 530. We got there at 550 for Valentine's Day and there was always a line for the special heart donuts. We went the day before and they sold out of most of them. They recommended we come in early the next day. It took about 10 mins to get in and out. It was complete Kaos that day. So one lady orders 24 boxes of Valentines donuts. No wonder they sell out. We just wanted 1 of each. Prices were around $3 something each one. They were as expected. My favorite was the chocolate ones. We will probably be back next Valentine's lol. read more

Unfortunately, Krispy Kreme overall has just been disappointing. This location has never truly been my favorite but ever since sports Arena shut down I've had no choice but to come here I recommend if you love Krispy Kreme doughnuts to just come early if you want them fresh because I've realized that by the end of the night there is no fresh donuts. The service is always fantastic because there's always a lot of people working so no complaints about that. It's mainly just a Krispy Kreme. The parking lot also gets pretty full if you want front row parking but overall, there's always a lot of parking. I do love that they have a restroom considering that they're such a small location. This specific location is always busy every time I come here. There is always a line formed when you walk in. Many staff available to help though and the line always goes quick. You can do pick up orders to expedite your service. Every time I come and pick up my order someone is always there to help within a sufficient amount of time. This location is a walk up and take away. No drive thru here. Krispy Kreme decided to extend Natioanl Donut day to being National donut week. I happened to be in the area so I stopped in. As of now patrons can only step in about 6 feet into the shop. Basically one person or 2 at the most in the shop if you came together. Everyone else has to queue outside behind designated mark's on the sidewalk. They have adopted a cashless transaction so be ready to pay with your card preference. A plastic shield protects the staff and customers and you no longer can walk up to the donut display. However, the donuts are visible and a colored menu is on a table next to the cashier. I filled out one of those survey thingies at the end of my receipt and I got the coupon code which expires in 3 months. The lovely Zita greeted me today, and I told her I was going to use my coupon. She informed me that if I was a rewards member (well, of course I am!) they have the same promo, so I could save my coupon for next month. That sounds good to me!
