Very disappointed with results I walked out looking great from hair salon and after first wash ,using correct shampoo my hair was frizzy and wavy More disappointed in customer service I sent them a picture of my hair and they requested I go into their salon so they can take a look at it. Once there owners daughter who did Brazilian sat and said nothing while mother ran her finger thru my hair and told me that I needed to blow dry and use a straighter . I then replied why is the top not frizzy just the bottom . The top looks good it's the bottom . She said my daughter told you it would not be a 100% straight . I replied I understand and I'm okay with that but be she did say it would not be frizzy and it is . Owner stated I needed to style I asked her "so you are saying this is normal for blowout" and she replied yes . Unfortunately I have blowouts at other salons where your hair is frizz free , shiny , straighter and just soft and flowy so I know enough to know what is expected and so do they. I do not recommend anyone have blowout at their salon . I gave them the opportunity of making it right by driving to their salon only to leave deeply deeply discouraged and disappointed it ain't right ! Give your customers the same quality you would give yourself . Your daughters hair looked amazing she had a blow out I wish mine looked as good as hers read more

I had been coming here since 2020 Isabel the owner did and does an amazing job. However, I will never step foot in the place again some lady name Elsa (her sister) butchered my very long hair. In the process of getting my hair cut she kept yanking on my hair and burning my ears she would swing her brush to wrap my hair around the brush scratching the back of my head her demeanor and attitude was unwelcoming and she seemed rushed. I have always had friends from work come here and now I show them the work she did so they know to stay clear from her. I called to make a complaint in tears cause I have a wedding to go to and the owner never offered a refund never apologized. Said "you just might need another haircut" no accommodations to have it fixed sooner. Thankfully I found a place that was able to fix the back and blend it cause when it was straightened the layers were extremely uneven my bangs were chopped super high. If you do go here ask for Isabel she does run super behind but she's the only one that seems to know how to cut hair there. read more

My review is based off lack of accommodations. The first time I ever visited this salon, Claudia listened to my needs and I left the salon with a haircut that checked every box. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my second visit. I specifically asked to have my hair thinned out and Isabel recommended not to thin out my hair based on her expertise. I decided to listen to her recommendation but was unhappy with 1. The look and feel of my haircut without thinning it out 2. My curtain bangs don't fit with my hairstyle it looks like they are disconnected. When I asked to come back in for accommodations I was told I would have to pay full price. Stopped for a hair trim and Veronica told me to come back in a hour. Came back in a hour and the door was locked. Called the number and she answered and said she was out for lunch. My friend recommended me this place, and I can absolutely say its one of the best that I've gone to... its clean and the staff is really friendly!! They ask you what you want and they give you advice on what to do with your hair and what not.. there prices are really good.. you don't have to have an appointment but they advice you to make one just in case its busy. Melissa cut her hair, and made her feel very comfortable and made it a fun experience for her. I came here for a men's haircut, I understand they seem to specialize in women's hair styles, they also say they can also cut men's hair as well, so I hoped they can perform the same on both genders. Before I got my hair cut, I explained to the lady(Isabel) how I wanted my hair and showed the lady some photo's what style I was going for. During the haircut, she kept asking me how I wanted my hair cut done even though I showed her some photos to help her get a good idea and explained in detail on how I wanted it cut and RE-Explained it to her again and again, at that point I was a bit nervous and had some doubts on her professionalism and if she had any good idea on what good men's hair styles look like(she probably doesn't know or just doesn't care). instead of cutting a fade on how I requested it on the side she just made it look uneven on both sides, she did not noticed nor apologized as she should have(Unprofessional). If you' re a man and looking for a good place and professionalism to cut your hair, this place has none of that, avoid Isabel and this place like the plague. You will thank me later. This place doesn't care about their customers. Oh yeah, she talks way too much while cutting your hair(lol). I will not be recommending non of my friends this place. read more

I don't give out stars easily! I took a chance since I didn't "know" the shop but after talking to Isabel on the phone, I sensed she knew what she was doing and made an appt. I was soooo happy with her work. I went for a haircut and blow dry and while waiting the 3 min. saw the previous client who was paying, whose short/medium haircut was FABULOUS. Very cutting- edge, modern and precise with very, very shiny hair. I then became very excited. I ended up with an equally beautiful cut and blow-dry and, in fact, decided last-minute to get a body perm. I couldn't have been happier and have rec'd many compliments. On Saturday the 2nd of February as all of you who live Vista experienced the rain storm that made the electricity go out on several blocks. This might bee too much information but I suffer from IBS if you don't know what it is look it up. I literally had to use the restroom. It was an emergency. I went to about every little business in this shopping center begging to use their restroom since some businesses had closed until the electricity came back on. Bonita's Hair design was one of the businesses that refused to allow me to use the restroom. Another Mexican Food restaurant next door wanted to charge me a dollar to use the restroom. I understand that the restroom is for clients only but due to the circumstances I would expect for small businesses to show some community (we were in the middle of a storm). I was very disappointed, another time when there was no traffic jam and electricity was available in all businesses I would have searched for a public restroom. Im a supporter of small business, but his experience disappointed me. It reminded me of times when Other states have suffered natural disasters and small businesses were selling a gallon of water for $10. Where is the sense of community. My post might be petty but I felt it necessary because we need to be a community in times of need read more
