    chicken and fries

Imagine eating portillos, now imagine eating portillos at a place called boobys. some would refer to this food as "the bomb" i would refer to it as "boobys chicken and fries". that cashier is definitely on something though. love the retro 2003 vibe, don't change boobys, don't change.

I like that I can walk in and order a Big Boob whenever I feel like it!

This place hits on every way. Soup, salads and appetizers all good. Their sandwiches are great. My friend Ralph Zaccariello used to tell me they had the best steak sandwich in Chicagoland. A little nicer than fast food. Still casual enough to stop in during a busy work day.

Standard looking suburban burger/beef place. The staff was straight forward, almost taciturn, which I've found to be pretty common in the Chicago area. Not rude, but not the most cheerful either. They have an impressive menu. They are known for their steak sandwich but I went with the Big C Burger (a Big Boob with cheese). The price is cheap but I ended up paying almost 16 bucks for fries and a drink with it. The burger is delicious. Grilled onions, sauce, slaw. And it's big! The fries were average frozen crinkle fries. Five stars for the burger, three for the fries, three for service. Four stars total because the burger was that darn good.

Enjoying life's sizzles with the best steak sandwich we ever tasted!! If you have not been to Booby's you need to drive over now! The service is kind and accommodating and the ambiance is a basic diner type feel!

Always liked patronising this resturant. It is basically a Mediterranean Greek resturant . You ordered at the counter. You may sit in and enjoy or take out. They do have a drive through to pick up honk or knock on the window . They do have gender neutral restrooms which I made a mistake on the check in They have 3 types of chicken Many salads Pastas Sandwich Italian faire also . I had gyros dinner choice of sides. I have enough for another meal ! Yum Thanks

The very best steak sandwich in the Chicagoland area. The restaurant is clean, the counter service is fast. There is a reason this place is so well known and popular. Another Chicagoland treasure.

Une Annee is one of the reasons to go to this pretty boring looking suburb. Hit up the bar for some cold ones plus on site made food. The prices aren't bad for craft beers and kitchens. A pretty impressive looking building. It's big and can fit hundreds. This is like a massive garage with a bar and a kitchen. First though it's a brewery. It's about $6 a pint. The one I liked the most was the Twist Of Wit. It's a wheat beer with Cara Cara oranges, coriander, and Meyer lemon. Tasted fruity but not too much. Also we got some food, which was actually good for a brewery. Vegan options are limited but there's a few. It's $6 for the Veggie Chili. This is vegan without the sour cream sauce. Also there's barbecue. There's pork belly and that kind of stuff. Beers are the best things to get here. It also has food from an on site kitchen. There's meaty options like pork and there's chili for vegetarians.

The day we came happened to be the day of the Kentucky Derby (side note - I picked the winning horse, though I did not bet on it!), so there was a good crowd of adults and kids alike. Although we did not order any food, the food selections coming from the kitchen looked good. Our friend favors the smoked sweet potato dish. I did like the sour kriek, though the Fresh IPA was so good that we bought a 4-pack to take home. Service was pleasant and efficient, and there is also a spacious outdoor patio.

I love when the sides keep coming and actually taste fresh, and these definitely did. The grill experience was the highlight. Watching the marinated beef sizzle over the charcoal while it caramelized and crisped at the edges? Elite. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor -- especially dipped into the sesame oil sauce or that savory soy-based sauce with scallions. Every bite wrapped in lettuce with garlic and sauce was chef's kiss. And the yukhoe (beef tartare) was beautifully presented -- layered with avocado, topped with a glossy egg yolk and garlic slices. It was fresh, rich, and buttery with just the right amount of seasoning. Mixing it all together made it creamy and flavorful without being overpowering. Overall, Jin Soo delivers on quality meat, great sides, and that interactive KBBQ vibe that makes the meal feel like an experience. Definitely a spot worth coming back to when you're craving good Korean BBQ in Chicago

Staff is kind and attentive. Restaurant is tastefully decorated and well lit. Perfect for a KBBQ spot. There were a lot of diners but it wasn't too loud. It was easy to get attention of the servers. The meat was good. Especially the non-marinated beef with the special matcha salt. NOT AYCE. Banchan (side dishes) were good and authentic. I would come again but not necessarily a WOW I MUST come again. If that makes sense. Decent KBBQ joint.

I really liked the natural-stone mini-subway style tiles on the walls. Like a lot of Korean places I have seen, the seats had minimal padding. I think this would be a great place for a date if you're in the area, a prize in an unassuming strip mall anchored by an auto parts store. Food was great, they happily and generously provided more banchan and also gave us complimentary bowls of soy paste soup that was practically jumping out of the bowl. As civilised as I tried to be, using my chopsticks and the cooking tongs correctly, I still felt like I completely stuffed my face like at a trough '^_^ it was all so good. Maybe to accommodate the neighborhood, the banchan was not nearly as spicy as we expected, so that might be great for someone trying Korean for the first time. Some might balk at the prices of some items, such as $24.99 for 1/2lb of raw meat, but we had a very enjoyable time and hope to come again.
