Great food with exceptional customer service and a great vibe whether you want to sit outside or inside!

I have to say this wasn't my usual dining experience no fault of the restaurant. I'll get to that later. I was craving a gyro and was suggested this place. It's really cool that they have a golf simulator set up. I was greeted by Jennifer and she had a very upbeat attitude. She bought over the menu which also has Social 18 Greek Kitchen, which is more traditional Greek fare. I received my food and begun to dig in. The gyro meat was tender and I loved that it had chopped tomatoes so I can get some in every bite. I don't know if the tzatziki sauce was homemade, but the flavor of garlic and dill was good enough that I was dipping my fries into it. The fries were salted well and fresh prepared. This is where the unusual experience came in. As I was eating and scrolling FB and a news story came up with more detail of a friends passing. And I just started to cry, Jennifer came over to check in on me, while I was trying to hold myself together. She understood my situation and she bought me a to-go container and some napkins. She even offered a hug which I took her up on. People like her are rare. Thanks for a great lunch! read more

Tried it for the first time today. Decent atmosphere and was clean. Food came out hot, and that is where the positives end. 1. It was expensive and didn't add up to the price I paid. 2. Portions were small and didn't really seem like the value equaled the price. The biggest thing: 3. The food was not good. My burger was dry and hardly hand enough condiments and sauce on it. My kids chicken fingers were way over cooked and burnt. Fries tasted a but stale and no salt what so ever on them. For what was paid for what I got was a big disappointment. Wally's this place is not. Wally's prices. But not Wally's quality. Place like this fries should be made to order. Half the fries were inedible both times I've gotten cheese fries. Like they gave me fries that been sittin for while and hope I wouldn't notice cause they covered in cheese. Some of them just rock hard. Nasty. With majority being short little stubs of a fry. Beef and sweet peppers at Wally's was considerably better. Beef at mullys is like 3 or 4 out of 10 Got to the middle of a Philly cheese steak and it started tasting weird. So didn't finish that either. I ate at Wally's for 30 plus years. I'm still confused and don't know why they closed. Counter worker was extremely nice. Only reason I gave 2 star instead of 1. Oh and yet another place with a tip screen after paying with card. I know a lot of places have this now a days. Which is why I try to avoid those places when possible. read more

Place seemed clean and staff was friendly. Main problem was I ordered a gyro sandwich (which they seemed to be advertising quite a bit) and when I got home I found out they didn't put any tzatziki sauce on it. I'm sorry but isn't that like a standard condiment for a gyro sandwich. I'm ok if it's provided on the side. But how do you not let customers know that it's not included? Disappointed read more

Yesterday, I swung by this "hidden" resto beside the railroad tracks in Uptown Park Ridge to get a couple of their Fish Dinners cause it was Good Friday. I was delighted to find out that my side options included their Greek Potatoes. I love Greek Potatoes! That lemony-garlicky zest is to die for. And our son Alex loves em too! So, I came home all excited to eat with Alex only to find out that we didn't have Greek Taters, we both had Baked Potatoes!!! WTH?! This place was a bit expensive to begin with, but the first time I tried em, Alex and I liked their sandwiches. You'd think they'd make sure they got my order right, but no. My mistake was that I'm too trusting! I really should have checked my order before I left! Oh well. I don't know if I'll try em again, but if I do, I will have to check my order before I leave. Trust is now lost. I have to be more careful each time I order from this place, or any other place for that matter. read more

First and last time ordering from here. I ordered a sandwich and 2 drinks. When my order arrived there were no drinks. The delivery person said that there were no drinks given to them with my order. I called the restaurant and the first thing that I was told was to check my receipt. The drinks were on there. Then the next excuse was that they don't know what was ordered when the food comes out from the kitchen. Maybe someone should be checking that? Then she got rude and said "what do you want us to do?" What a ridiculous question. I can live with food not living up to my expectations, that will happen when you order blind but poor customer service is another thing. All it takes is a little effort and this place does not care. I predict that this place won't last long with this kind of attitude. Oh and the food was mediocre at best. read more

This place is so family friendly, clean, and fun. The food is phenomenal & the golf simulator is fun for all (even my 3 kids!). Service was great too. The Christmas decor is incredible. So festive! (We arrived right at the opening hour & booked 1 hour of golf. It was nice and quiet for a family of 5). read more

Went for lunch on Friday. It's counter service and then they bring you your food. I had the single Mully burger which was very good with the spreadable Mertz cheese on it. The others in my group had the gyro which was stuffed with a nice portion of well seasoned meat. And the pastrami Reuben which was toasty and good. Everything was cooked well and tasted great. We also ordered fries and cheese fries. These were not very hot and they were not stellar but everything else made up for it. Definitely worth a try! read more

I wanted SO bad to like a local place like this and I even ordered from the "favorites" menu of the 1/2 slab ribs- their bbq sauce is disgusting and is almost like ketchup, the ribs were dry, the garlic bread was brutal, mozzarella sticks were cold (but I did get delivery so can't totally blame that even tho I live less than a mile away). The ONLY thing that redeemed them was that I ordered their cream of chicken soup and that was delicious. Word of advice- put your bbq sauce on the side next time as it's truly awful. read more

Twice Ive ordered and carried out and twice its been the worst carry out Ive ever had. Today I had the chicken wings in HOT AND SPICY and they tasted like maybe there was a crank or 2 more on the black pepper and no sauce at all. Im hoping for their sake they just forgot to sauce my order. Completely tasteless for what I was told was equivalent to a hot buffalo. Fries are the worst fries Ive ever been served with a straight face in my life and theyve been the same both times (a year apart). High-school cafeteria fries make these look bad. May as well be served noodles. The first time I was willing to chalk this up to being the opening week. This time, with nobody else in the restaurant, there is no excuse. Mullys is attached to a bar and what a wonderful place it is! The owner is amazing and super friendly. He kept the kitchen open for us for an extra 10-15 minutes and make sure that we got whatever food we wanted. The service was fabulous and the vibes were high! recommendation was the excellent food; the most delicious seafood was the best I 've enjoyed in my entire stay here in the United States, which has been for the last several months. "From appetizers to desserts, Mully's/Social 18 exceeded all our expectations! Our family especially enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and soup for our appetizers. My daughter and I couldn't decide between the chicken gyros or regular gyros. Therefore, we decided to order both. Wow! I am so glad we did. They use the freshest ingredients and each was done the right way. Without a doubt, my son enjoyed his burger and waffle fries with feta. don't know why the place was so crowded. The food was subpar. There are better diners to eat at in the area.

They cannot even cook fresh fries and then when you request a refund from the garbage they serve.... they lie and say unavailable and need your # and email... just report to Better Business Bureau cause their lies and customer service with food quality is beyond poor. Worst it stinks just to reach the entrance door due to the dumpsters next to it.. dont let the fake green garden fool you. ...YES IT STINKS! read more

Loved Mullys food. We had chicken gyros, chicken souvlaki, and shrimp inner. Greek fries were very tasty.

Below par food, below par service. Waited about 35 minutes for food and saw several people who ordered after us get their food first, and when the food finally came half of it was cold. Asked for ranch when the food came and never got it. Saw a manager berate one of the workers a few feet from our table where we could hear everything. On top of all of that, the food was simply not good. No clue why it was so crowded, will not be going back. read more

The gyros sandwich is very good! Enjoyed the feta french fries. I recommend this place for a good lunch spot.

The meal was mediocre, the fries tasted like they had been sitting around, the gyro was poor for what I was charged you would expect better quality in the food. Was not given a receipt. One I payed I was ignored. I was not given my change . I decide what the tip should be not the wait staff. I was not pleased and will not recommend the place. Great discovery on finding a Google result for local lunch spot for pick up. Read some of the great reviews so I picked Mully's for our department lunch spot only 9 mins away. Online ordering was a breeze so decided to take the drive a little earlier to check out what "Social 18" was all about. Cashier noticed the online order came in a little delayed but owner offered a drink for the wait and had a quick chat and tour of the establishment. Our department was planning a "team building" event soon but I already know where it's happening at for sure. Looking forward to many visits ahead. read more

Okay, new place in Park Ridge. Well worth a visit here. Great food and great service. Can't ask for a better place to grab a bite and a drink. Affordable prices, excellent service. The gyros dinner is excellent- I finally found a gyros that is as good as Wally's (which was a staple in the area for probably 30 years until the owners retired). Service is excellent- I'll be back!! read more
