I love boom burger! I just recently discovered this chill little burger place and am absolutely obsessed. Everything from the food, to the vibe, to the staff is amazing!! Their burgers are life changing yet super affordable. My favorite part is how customizable everything on their menu is. Anything you can think of the cooks at Boom Burger can conjure up for you. Their crispy chicken is amazing too wether in a salad, wrap, or on a sandwich. Definitely recommend their waffle fries & milkshakes too. Very small, crowded and kitschy Westhampton burger joint has a very "locals only" vibe. Seemed like the counter staff knew each customer by name which made us feel a bit awkward walking in. The menu is written on a large black board, kind of a mess to read and I felt rushed seeing as there was a line forming behind us. The other side of the wall is a list of specialty burgers. Ordered basic burgers, fries, buffalo wings and a banana milk shake. First off, the banana shake was great! The wings were good, burgers were juicy and the fries are crispy. Service was a bit slow but very friendly and prices are shockingly low for the area. Will definitely come back for lunch and recommend their great burgers. read more

Boom burger and Atomic wings has a catchy name and an engaging atmosphere including frames with comic book heroes in them. When you step into the small restaurant it has a colored chalk menu board with all kinds of burger options, wings, and "other stuff". It has a TV and round stool seating with a few booths. I ordered a burger with most of the free toppings on it and a sauce called Boom Boom Sauce (spicy bbq). It came in an aluminum foil wrap like 5 Guys but the meat and veggies tasted more like an In-n-Out Burger than 5 Guys. It was fresh burger meat but wasn't nearly as tasty as the other guys and it was a little skimpy on the bacon which wasn't crunchy enough for my liking. I still can't understand why In-N-Out is so popular out west, but this was certainly better and if you like them this is better. It's good and the service was really excellent for a small joint. I am looking forward to going back and trying the hot tasty wings. read more

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch and i was looking for something light. I ordered the house salad with grilled chicken, soo delicious and fresh! It had mixed greens, blue cheese (not alot so its overpowering), walnuts, craisins, fresh juicy chicken, a simple salad but great flavors all together!! Also burgers are the bomb!! Hands down my favorite privately owned burger joint. The atmosphere is a super cool super hero theme and the food is delicious. The buffalo chicken wings are some of the best I've ever had, the chicken sandwich is grilled perfectly juicy and flavorful every time and the fries are always crispy (regular and waffle). The milk shakes are to dye for and they even offer a variety of fried treats like fried Oreos - better than I've had from any fair. The food is good for burgers fries with a creative menu-don't count calories. BUT, I think it's disgusting that you can't get an extra cup unless you pay $2.16... So my little kids $6 shake won't include a courtesy share cup. Even movie theaters started giving away small cups rather than charging. Judging by the lines they can afford a spare cup. Very convenient (if you have a bike) to the Westhampton LIRR station. I stopped and got a burger while I was waiting for the train back to town. The burger was above average, but not truly spectacular. They serve the thin flat type of burger, so if you're really hungry get a double at least. The fries were a little blah, but they weren't terrible. The milkshake saved the day. They let you combine multiple flavors (get chocolate+peanut butter+banana and thank me after) and it was delicious. I'd say it's a solid three and a half stars, bumped up to four because the staff was friendly. read more

The entire Boom experience was fantastic. The cashier was both helpful & accommodating. My cousin & I shared a few items & the burger was cut in half for us, w/out us even asking for it that way. We had a bacon cheeseburger which was excellent...super fresh & top quality meat. We also had boneless chicken wings that were also really good. No burger is complete w/out fries & onion rings so we tried both. I am traveling across country & LOVE fries & these fries were EXCELLENT! My cousin said the same about the onion rings. To top off our fabulous meal were.....fried Oreos. It was my first fried Oreo experience so I don't have anything to compare them to but they were scrumptious. We met & talked to the owner a bit & he was super friendly as well. He even came over to our table to ensure we were completely satisfied. Top notch customer service which is very important to me. Absolutely love Boom Burger. Besides the fact that their burgers are well... of a super-human level of deliciousness, their salads and specials remain a superb second option. I was in the area on a work appointment and wanted a quick lunch before heading back out west, so this place was recommended to me. At it's essence, it's another burger joint, but as I looked at the menu, I was (almost) overwhelmed with the number of options. Impressed, really. Ended up getting a double boom with a side of onion rings. The burger was amazing and akin to something you might get at Five Guys (a good thing, in my opinion). The onion rings were literally the best rings I have ever had in my life. The breading was so well seasoned and not falling apart like it does at other places, and they were so good I barely touched the dipping sauce that came with them. My only issues were a couple- one is the $15 credit card minimum. As I was there for work and only had my credit card on me, this posed an issue, but I somehow managed to order enough to get by. Also, I had a late lunch on a weekday, which meant that closer to the end of my meal, the small space was soon becoming overrun by loud high school students (the school is around the corner). Be forewarned if you plan on having lunch here. Otherwise, I would absolutely stop here again. Nice to try the local options in such a small community! read more

This is the perfect burger joint if you want a quick dinner or snack. There is a wide variety of options on the menu, so there really is something for everyone. The burgers are great (thanks to Justin's Chop Shop)!! The only thing I wish they would change are the burger buns, and the size of the burger. Yes, you can order a double cheese burger. Westhampton location. Big shock to see deterioration regarding cleanliness and upkeep. Are there new owners? What was once a clean, shiny and sparkling 50's diner is now dirty, unkempt and the bathrooms filthy with no paper towels or toilet paper. black covered stools ripped on seats, tables wobbly This was a favorite place of our for years and it was disturbing to see it going south so fast. Burgers had oil dripping at each bite. What happened to this once great burger that tasted so good with good quality meat. Menu way too involved to produce quality food. Sad!!! read more

We go here pretty often because the burgers, fries, and shakes are predictably good. Deviating from those items seems to produce mediocre results. Service can also be hit or miss. Tonight's takeout order was a big disappointment which, if there was another similar place nearby, would cause me to go elsewhere in the future. I ordered a crispy chicken Caesar wrap "with extra Caesar dressing on the side" because I had ordered it once (dining in luckily) and knew that this was needed. They didn't include the dressing and the sandwich was so so dry that I had to use ranch from my fridge and it just wasn't good. But the worst was that a huge group of teenagers walked in ahead of me and even though my order was ready they said that I had to wait in line. After about ten minutes I protested, saying that our food would be cold and that I've seen others names called for their food. They said that that's only if you are eating there and have already paid. So I waiting another ten minutes or so behind about 12 teenagers who didn't know what they wanted and by the time I got home of course 46$ worth of food for 2 adults and 2 kids was stone cold. To add insult to injury they only had put one straw and I'd already used it so my kid was left to drink a shake from the cup. She was not pleased and also informed me that they forgot the whipped cream. Can't win 'em all I guess, but very disappointed for 46$ take out. They also don't take American Express which is a negative. Do better Boom Burger!!! read more
