We were referred to Inferno by a real estate agent while we were searching the neighborhood for houses. It was the best referral of the day! First and foremost the minute you walk in, your kinda taken back in time with the Johnny Cash pictures and other 1950's and 60's. The music playin also transports you back there! The menu has everything yet not over exhaustive...burgers, chicken sandwiches down to a Philly cheesesteak. The front counter employee was super friendly and helpful and I think he may double as a cook as well. Anyway, my family and I ordered the Big Stack...Two All Beef Patties, Special Sauce, Lettuce, Cheese, Pickles & Onions on a Toasted Potato Roll. This burger was ON POINT!! Perfectly cooked and exactly as described. My wife had the Foghorn Leghorn, Handmade Southern Fried Chicken Breast, on a Martin's Potato Roll Topped with Lettuce and Mayo, which was delicious. This not the place you want to go to with your family for lunch or dinner. It is themed almost like a wanna be honky tonk with excessive music. It seems to be run by high school teenagers with no real management on duty. The decorations by the sitting/eating area had dust chains hanging and the ketchup bottles tops were encrusted with old ketchup. If this place was in the city, it would have received an F rating. We both ordered the Hag which sounded appealing except for the fact both came out raw on the inside. Let's face it, if burgers are what you are known for, then you should learn how to cook them. I live 45 minutes from here but it was beyond worth the drive. This restaurant is small and easy to pass, but once you enter you are greeted with a wild western vibe. The decor is so fun and you can play cards while you eat your food. They have a few tables so you can dine in, but parking is limited. I ordered a grilled cheese and cheesy fries and it came with cole slaw. The grilled cheese was pretty good but the star of the show was the cheesy fries. They didn't just slap cheese slices on and half melt it, they use legit cheese sauce coated all over the fries. These are the best cheesy fries I've ever had and you must order them. Stopped by for lunch with the family on a Sunday around noon. Very old school rock vibes, felt like a trip into the past. We were helped right away and he informed us about the children's menu. We ordered the double smash burger and the Big John, both came with a side of slaw. Kids had a children's cheeseburger with fries and a chicken tenders with fries. Everything was cooked great and served just off the grill. The burgers are delicious and HUGE, so bring your appetite. Pricers were also great. One of the better burger places I've tried. read more

My family and I placed an order tonight to go and it's not like it's the first time we've ate here. It's not my cup of tea to begin with, nothing against anyone, I'm just not a big fan of cheesy or fried foods. My dad got a chicken sandwich, my mom got a wrap and I got a burger. I was halfway through my burger when I bit onto something hard and sharp and hurt my tooth. I spit out what was a piece of bone, possibly part of a tooth (not mine thankfully)... I'm so turned off from burgers for probably the rest of the summer. I used to be obsessed with this place when I lived in Miller Place 3 years ago... just went for the first time in a while the other day and I was a little disappointed. The burger was just ok, undercooked even though I asked for it to be well done (I'm pregnant). The onion ring bag was dripping in grease, and the NY Dog which comes with "sauerkraut, red onions and spicy brown mustard" was misleading imo since I assumed the onions would be raw but were in fact sautéed in some kind of spicy red sauce that was smothered ALL over the hotdog (I didn't like it at all and had my husband eat it). Overall a bit of a bummer... I probably won't go back anytime soon. read more

My son and his wife took us here on a Sunday afternoon. What a very interesting place. I love the way it is decorated. So inviting. We placed our order with the girl behind the counter. She was welcoming, friendly and really upbeat. We all ordered something different. We started out with hot wings. They were hot and saucy. It was a vinegar based sauce and so very good. The meatloaf was delicious. I want the recipe. We also enjoyed the pulled pork and chili. I ordered the Cuban sandwich. I couldn't believe the size. It was packed with tender pork, ham, Swiss, pickles and a terrific sauce. If u like Cuban sandwiches, order this. I'd also like to mention their burgers are perfect and they serve Sabrett hot dogs (my favorite). You can order a variety of toppings for both the burgers and hot dogs. The French fries are served steaming hot and stayed that way through your meal. And actually, everything is made to order, so everything is served steaming hot. We also enjoyed "the nest" which is very thin, curly onion rings. They are cooked perfectly and are so sweet and crispy. We all enjoyed everything! To start the woman working was so rude. Had a nasty attitude and just seemed to be in a bad mood taking it out on guests. The food took a bit which wasn't an issue. I only ate half my food since the attitude was just nasty. Went home to finish my chicken wrap to be on my last few bites, and I ate half a raw piece of chicken. DISGUSTING. Inferno has the feel of a small neighborhood bar. While we were there, at least four other people come in and you could tell they were regulars. Its a cozy place with most of the seating an arms reach of the counter. The burgers are good enough and a good change of pace from the "Elite" gourmet burgers and the down and chain burgers. It's closer to what you would make at home on a weeknight when you don't have kids to shuttle around and you can spend an extra 5 minutes to season and monitor your cook temperature. Sometimes that's just good enough. What really blew us away was the onion straws. These are a favorite of my wife and se searches them out everywhere. Prior to this her favorites were at a steak house on 25 in Lake Grove. Due to a service issue we had on our last visit, I won't be STEERing anyone towards them but they have good straws. But now they have been supplanted. Infernos are lighter (airier), less oily and abundant. the two of us could not finish the single side order, and we tried. So when you have the extra time to make it yourself, but you just rather not let Inferno do it for you. And get the onion straws, I can't imagine you'll be sorry. read more

Fried chicken huge burgers and wraps too. I got the southern fried chicke. Sandwich which was served on a potato bun - my favorite!!!! It has fresh avocado healthy portion of bacoN and a yummy and unique chipotle aioli honey sauce. It was hard to put down the fries were just regular and kinda salty also got a side of onion straws which was massive and again on the salty side but came with this yummy drizzle of chipotle on top. I got to the burger place at 2:25 pm I came to get the the Luch special they offer from 11:30am-2:30m which is a single burger with a side of fries and a drink for $10.00 , so as I walked in I noticed the cashier on the phone taking a order so I waited for him to finish what he was doing now a couple of minutes has passed and It is now 2:28pm I tell the the cashier that I would like the lunch special so he looks at the cook behind the register and the cook says no that deal is over at 2:30pm so I explain to both the cashier and the cook that it is still not past 2:30pm, and that I would like to get the deal the both of them said no to me, and I asked to speak to the manager and the cook says to me your looking at him buddy, and so I have had such a bad experience, and the nastiest staff i have ever met, and will never be returning back to this place u have lost my Business. read more

We pull up front and walk inside to a small but cozy dining area. You order your food consisting of burgers, *corn dogs*, chicken sandwiches, real comfort foods. There is a Louisiana Hot Chicken I see on the menu which I'm dying to try but first things first. I need to try their burger creation. I'm a sucker for a Patty Melt. A patty melt is on rye bread (which they didn't serve) with American cheese. You could get fancy and throw some caramelized onions and other toppings but I like it when the rye bread is toasted on the grill. Sort of like a grilled cheese sandwich but they slipped a burger in the middle. The Inferno the Restaurant patty melt uses a Texas Style toast with caramelized onions and they special sauce. And they used two patties?! Rock on Inferno the Restaurant. My wife and I sit in a booth and are waiting for our food. I see a young family with their children enjoying their food and a happily playing on the piano. Another couple walks in and I hear them greet another couple on line. This is a nice, family atmosphere. I really dig this spot. Our food arrives. My wife ordered a regular burger as well as wings for us to share. My Patty Melt comes out. It's a well constructed burger! Lots of flavor, this is a juicy incredible burger. One of Long Island best by far. We left here planning out our next visit. Just picture your favorite hot dog topped mountain high with pickles, onions, sauerkraut and mustard! Deeee-licious!! Visited the Inferno restaurant for the first time today and I was impressed about the atmosphere. Brought me back to the ol western days! I started off my feast with their Chicago style hot dog, which came with sport peppers, pickles, tomatoes, relish, onions and yellow mustard . A whole mouthful of a good-gasm I swear. My friend got the double stack cheeseburger and he went through that burger like a tornado! Finger licking good! The Amarillo hot dog was probably the best because that savory chilli! Just moved out in Suffolk and when looking for a burger spot I found this place and boy did I fall in love. Seems like a nice little burger spot with a great menu, eat in or take out both are great options here. Decor is very nice and fits the restaurants theme very well. The cashier is super nice and when u call over the phone they are super sweet. I've had about half the menu here excluding wraps (will be my next order), and I must say there isn't one sandwich I don't like. Wing are great, bacon ranch cheese fries are a must when ordering a burger. Burgers are fresh and great size, chicken sandwiches are above par, good crispy ness nice texture when u bite into it and I love the chicken and waffles spin they have called the Dixie chick add some bacon and cheese and wow does that sandwich satisfy. Corn dogs are sweet and savory and larger than expected. I haven't tried anything I can say is bad or not done well, very consistent with my orders and just a great place go to. Will continue to come back religiously and I give a big shout out to the staff over there always gets the job done correctly and service with a smile. No complaints on this place. read more

This place has really gone downhill. The food quality is not the same as it was. I get that it's supposed to be barbecue comfort food, but everything is just sloppy, and is not prepared well. If I order a sandwich, I would like to be able to eat it as a sandwich and not with a fork and knife. It used to be very good The staff is not friendly and literally stares at you while you are completing your card transaction to see if you're going to leave a tip. You get a nasty look if you don't. If I'm ordering takeout and all I'm doing is coming in to pick it up. I shouldn't feel obligated to or judged for tipping. It is also never ready when they say it is, they never answer the phone, and they don't have a website, just a Facebook that doesn't have the menu posted, which seems ridiculous. read more

What an absolutely incredible experience we had at Inferno, From start to finish! Everything was delicious and fresh and the staff was so attentive, helpful and friendly! We started with wings, and every sauce/ rub was so good, (I was particular to the Asian and their new brown sugar rub) I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was one of the best I've had! We shared bacon cheddar ranch fries, my fiancé built his own burger and it was not only enormous but super tasty! Inferno has a great menu, awesome food, and nice cooks behind the counter. The menu is awesome with a diverse set of American comfort foods which is great to see since there aren't many places like this in Suffolk County. The first time I went was when they first opened and truthfully my order was terrible. I ordered cheese fries and when I opened it they were cold and had some ketchup on it (like the person who made it couldn't decide if ketchup should go on cheese fries or not; the answer is they should be put to the side, not directly on it.) However I have gone several more times after that and all of my food was good and hot. The last time I went, the store was a bit warm and my friend did not receive his meal when my other friend and myself received our food. In fact, we had waited 30 minutes until my friend who had not gotten his meal went up to the counter to check the status on his order to find out that it hadn't been started. Inferno is a great place to eat and I highly recommend it! The reason I rated them 4/5 stars as opposed to 5/5 is lack of organization but their food is 10/10. read more
