I don't live in NY anymore but was back here this July. My husband and some friends went to eat at Tonino's. Very friendly staff. Josephine who was the bartender when we were there was excellent. She makes a good drink. She also was very attentive to us if we needed anything else. Owners family came out to introduce himself and say hello since that was our first time there. Food was great. My friend ordered the lasagna I couldn't believe the size of the dish. We started with appetizer, entree we even had room For desserts and cappuccino. I like an expresso martini after dinner and it was by far the best. We have been back a second time with more friends. I would highly recommend the restaurant. read more

Swung by this immaculately clean pizzeria for a slice. The pizza was old school, tasted the way that pizza tasted when I was growing up in western Suffolk county. Gooey runny cheese, slightly sweet sauce. Inexpensive- any place to eat in the Westhampton area without predatory pricing gets an extra star. I've been picking up pizza here since i was a very little girl. The only proper pizza on the east end in my mind. It's such a classic and they know us well, which is always nice. We have been customers for over 14 years. What a mess since they opened their new restaurant. The restaurant was full so we went to the pizza place but they said we could order food. They told us no more ordering at the table so we went to the counter. The staff was extremely rude. They used to have 2 very nice females who waited tables, Kim was always friendly. We ordered as instructed at the counter and they messed up our order. No apology. They said they never heard part of the order so they placed it again (after 45 min of sitting and watching my family eat). They kept saying my food was coming but it never did. Then we found a manager and he finally placed the order. It was an hour and 20 min before my food came and it was barely cooked. They didn't offer anything at all. The renovation is stunning and the ambience lovely! But the food does not live up to the expectations set by the decor. The sauces are gloppy, the red sauce is cloyingly sweet. She was concerned that the place would be closed because Trump was flying into Gabreski, but Tony assured me that that would not stop him From getting us our heroes and he was correct. Recently had a delivery from Tonino's and everything we ordered: meatball hero, a few flatbreads, and a gorgonzola salad, was delicious.

TONINO"S " HOME OF THE $5.00 SLICE" You would expect a $5 slice to be amazing but it was more like something they bought from the supermarket and heated up. The people working their try to talk around you. They think you don't hear them and even if you do that you wont understand their higher intellect. They want you to feel honored that they allowed you to pass through their front door and if you don't kiss the ring it's "NO PIZZA FOR YOU". While I was there for about 5 minutes a woman returned a pizza because the topping she ordered was so cheaply applied she demanded it be doubled. First time ordering from Tonino. Ordered for delivery on. Monday around 515 pm. told about 45 minutes arrived in 30 minutes. Ordered: Mediterranean meal, Chicken Franc., dozen hot wings and 1/2 cheese and pepperoni pie. Everything was perfect. The containers were filled to the top. Food was hot, especially the wings. I'm not a hot wings type but my wife though they were delicious. The Mediterranean was absolutely delicious. Chicken chopped nice and small and there was plenty. No chunks. Spinach was fresh and oil was just right, not soaking. Chicken fran was nicely thin and soft. Pie was cooked perfectly. Closer to on the thick side crust, but that's just my opinion I prefer thin but didn't ask for it that way. Pepperoni was plentiful. Two large pieces of bread. Very fresh. No salad but we never eat them. Great meals, fresh, hot and delivered in a timely fashion. Food was definitely not sitting around waiting to be delivered. Total, $81 plus $5 for delivery. One thing they should include with delivery: a menu. I think they mail them every once in awhile but we tossed them. Never do that again. We'll definitely be back. read more

We have eaten at Tonino's for 30 years. Usually great food but tonight was a disaster. Ordered two dinners to go and the seafood Diavolo came out as spaghetti Diavalo. Had to wait for the seafood to be cooked and added to the order. Got home and they left out the spaghetti back in the kitchen. So they rushed out and delivered the missing spaghetti. Opened the bag of bread and both loaves were burned on the bottom. My wife's Chicken Francaise had cheese on the pasta. She never had cheese on it , for the past 10 years. Could not eat it. Food was good. Too bad they never put my order in. After waiting 20 minutes, I went inside to ask. The cashier apparently never told the waitress to tell the kitchen to make my food. That's funny, because they made my friend's food and brought it out. Then she finally brings it out after I've waited 25 min. Fine. But no utensils. Ok I'll eat a chicken with lemon sauce with my hands or let it get cold while my salad comes out. Salad comes out. Food is all good. Oh wait, I ordered a salad without croutons. This salad is full of croutons. So much for my request. Good thing I'm not allergic, just avoiding carbs this week. I pick them all out of the salad. Waitress keeps trying to take my plates away while I'm eating. Touches my shoulder inappropriately. Now I'm cringing. I don't like it here. I'm not coming back. No gesture to comp my coffee or anything for bad service... So I'll pay for my coffee out of your tip. Ok confession time. I have celiac so I'm supposed to eat gluten free and I do. Except when I stop in here. Here there's a 99% chance I'm having a Margherita slice or two. It's that good. Their regular pizza is awesome too. People must agree, because this place on a Monday is busier than most pizza shops on a Friday night. We were visiting the Westhampton for the weekend and this was a close option. But it turned out much better than we expected. Their service was prompt and portions were generous. The price is reasonable for their food. The food is good. Mozzarella fries were pretty standard Garlic bread was different from the ones I had before. But quite nice. Our pepperoni pizza was nice, the barbecue chicken had a nice bbq sauce going on. Added some crushed pepper to add to the spice. Worked beautifully. The veggie pizzas were pretty good too my friends said. The star of the show was the pappardelle with pesto and artichoke hearts and capers and mushrooms. One of the best pastas we have had. Period. I left my wallet and phone and got back right at closing time to get it. They were so nice about it. They have some reasonable priced beer and wine too. Oh, and live music! read more

We take out from here quite a lot. I've been very impressed with everything that we've had and the garlic knots are the best I've had anywhere. I recommend the Caesar salad. Ask them to ease up on the croutons but the dressing is excellent. Great pasta and really good tomato sauce. Sausage and pepper here is one of the best I've tasted also along with the bread. I'm new to the area and used to casual Italian in East Hampton. The spinach and artichoke pizza is unique as was amazing. The ziti with vodka sauce is very good. I love any pasta with bolognese sauce and I don't like salty. It was the only disappointment, tried it again, not too salty, but still very little flavor to the sauce.` The gorgonzola salad was generous with lots of cranberries. It needed another ingredient along with the lettuce, cheese and cranberries. We pick up and the food and it is always ready within 20 mins. Unfortunately, I have to agree with other reviews about the counter workers. The men are friendly but the 2 women I see each time, are cold and seem to not enjoy their job. I hope my suggestions are taken into some consideration, as I really enjoy the pizza and will keep coming for it. I'll give the bolognese sauce another chance. read more

My friend ordered $60 of chicken wings & even asked for blue cheese & celery and they gave him all fried chicken tenders! $60 of chicken tenders!!! Really?
