This place is a little run down but the service is great. Cindy and Russell took great care of us. Tons of TV's to watch the game on. This place rocks! Forget Buffalo Wild Wings and their over priced menu and SLOW horrific service! My son's aunt took me here and I have been to Boomer Jack's five times now ever since. The service and food is on point! The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and are nice to my son. Good portions at an excellent price. They have tv's all over for the game and a pool table! There is a juke box and you'll hear Jimi Hendrix and then country so there is a good variety and a diverse clientele. I will be back again! Thanks for the good food and friendliness! read more

The food is decent but not great. It's pretty reasonably priced. The wait staff is usually pretty slow about refills and meeting other needs. I've had the Philly and the burgers. The seating is very comfortable, the booths are crowded. It's close to the house so I go but I wouldn't call it a favorite. read more

Never again their was a flying roach on the wall we told the waitress she went to tell the manager . Waitress came back said manager was going to take care of it come and apologize never did as it came crawling toward our booth we got up and had to ask for the manager to tell her to take care of it. Warmest beer in dfw. They have kids in the back burning all the food. And the service was horrible. Ive been 4 times now with my wife. Last tuesday (not busy) she waited 22 minutes for a drink. Wow! where to start? They got my order wrong and told me (TOLD) me that they didn't! I ordered garlic parm. they gave me lemon pepper. When I told them that I distinctly tasted lemon their response was "Well don't eat anymore, and bring them back to the store!" I asked for the number to corporate, they would not give it to me. They had the district mgr. Rob ???? call me back. He honestly, I believe tried to help me. I went back to the store and had another bad experience with the asst. mgr. Oh well! I gave them a second chance and they messed it up as well. In the middle of writing this review the store mgr. Jerry???? just called. He was a cool guy. He says he is refunding my money tomorrow. We order to-go from here a lot and always enjoy the food and service. Even when we had a little bit of order trouble in the past, the young female manager was very helpful and sweet with getting everything worked out and corrected. Yay........I am fan for now. I just recently visited this location. This is my 5th time going here. 1 time was a takeout and they had pretty good wings. I will admit, they are skimpy on the buffalo sauce, but the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan are great in my book. I can't speak for anyone else. I will admit they have a jukebox and a lot of hard metal, but mostly country music plays. You can skip the songs, come on now don't complain if you have a touchtunes account, just pay extra and skip the damn songs you don't want to hear. I can't say for sure, but I will agree with one reviewer, I asked them to turn the jukebox up when I was playing hip-hop and rap, and she barely turned it up. Other times, I have been, there were blasting country music. Maybe because the hip-hop and rap is recorded at better studios and their music does not need to be as loud at the country music. We all know that country music singers can't afford quality studio time right..............hmmmmm! I will admit there are not a lot of people of color here, neither are there a lot of hispanics here. This side of Mesquite...........very peaceful......but............super questionable. I think that was deemed a necessity to be mentioned, but as far as it goes, I have not felt uncomfortable so far. Their drinks seem a little watered down, BUT they are a lot better than many restaurants, like TGI Fridays, Chilis, Applebees, and whoever else. I like drinking, so trust me I know when drinks are watered down, so cut the bullcrap and be fair. Don't offer drinks for cheap and water them down or add a shit load of ice to conserve. I will admit I do like this location and I did not give them 5 stars because they are not really 5 stars. It's a great location for people who stay in the area. If you don't live in the area, don't complain, because this restaurant is deep in town and not geared to cater to out of towners. Why would you waste your time commenting if you do not live in the area or if you drove 6,000 miles to come here? That is complete idiocracy............hmm that is not a word, but you get my drift. Don't be an idiot okay. My only complaint is that a lady carded me on my 4th visit, but she did not card the guy with the gray hair behind me...........~~~~~~squints and rolls eyes~~~~~~. That was pretty questionable to me. He should have been carded too......Other than that, I like them, but that is just my opinion. Went in to place a to go order, server followed me in seeing that i was a customer. I was not greeted or really acknowledged for entering, I had to ask for a menu from the bartender after looking for one. I ordered 15 boneless lemon pepper and some loaded fries, The server Brittany then asked me to sign my cc receipt then walked away as I was signing. She went back outside and i was left there wondering when my order would be ready. Eventually i asked what appeared to a non uniformed manager behind the bar if they knew how long it'll be he was polite and apologized. said it'll take four minutes, then he helped assemble my order. The wings were fantastic the fries were ok, i may come back because of the wings alone but i will never dine in there. Not a good experience took a while to get greeted, had 2 different people coming back in forth the person who put our food in didn't come check to make sure it came out okay. I have no idea how this place has so many stars!!! You would haft to be past drunk to finish dinner in this place. Me and my husband went on a Friday night I ordered 2 shots and tortilla soup and salad. My husband wings and fries. First up tortilla soup (My fav and easy enough to cook) I would not even call what I had tortilla soup. First off..no tortillas,no chicken and it was cold. I have had canned soup that was way better!! I have worked in the service industry so I let it go and just didn't eat it. Next comes my first shot and it has a bug in it! I let the waitress know and she brings another and it also has bar flies in it. I push it to the side and pretty much give up because a sure sign of a dirty bar is bar flies in your drink. Now my husbands food comes 15-20 minutes after with my 2nd mixed drink I ordered when we placed our order. This is the 3rd mixed drink brought to the table and again bar flies. At this point I am upset and past done. I wait for my husband to eat and he picks up his french fry and says babe look at this... Staples in his french fries! That's right folks staples!! Now I have no idea if they are cooking while doing office work but I do know this was the worst meal I have ever had. I ask for a manager and 10min after someone who was just mopping the floor (I do not think was a manager) came over. When I showed him everything he looked lost. We got up and walked out. This place is fun! Not for the young b/c you can hear people talk and it gets a bit vulgar. But it is a fun place, the food is really good. I love the bottom less salad and soup. If you want to have a good time, not break the bank, be around friendly people and staff, this is your place. read more

Terrible service, mostly teenage wait staff that will sit with the regulars while ignoring others. Slow on getting refills but quick to take a break and chatt away within themselves. Been there numerous times always hoping for improvement, really don't have a management presence... If they do have a Manager, he has NEVER visited our/my table to make sure all is well... Decided on wings since well hey it's Friday. We ordered a party pack which includes 50 wings, 3 large sides and 6 rolls. Oh and tons of ranch! Well my excitement quickly disappeared when I saw the pitiful amount of buffalo sauce on the wings. It's more like fried chicken with a hint of buffalo. The BBQ flavor was perfectly drenched in saucy goodness. I move on the fries. Which ok people this is a party pack. I am expecting a hefty amount of fries. Only to find barely a handful of fries in each basket. One had a bit more than other but it was definitely a minuscule amount fries again considering this is a party pack! The macaroni was good. And the serving was well a ton more than the fries. We have them a call hoping for a resolution. I mean all we wanted was more fries to dip in our 10 containers of ranch. The manager was very rude. She told us that " we get what we get. " that was it. No resolution whatsoever. I'm very disappointed.
