The waitress Shay was rude for no reason, when we had been waiting for almost 45 mins for her to take our order. My mother n law, niece, and boyfriend food was cold. It took over 45 more minutes to get our food. The establishment was dead, so there was no crowd. When we asked about our food, they had to come back in ask what we ordered, so that they could put our order in again. No apology. All the waitress were taking shots by the bar. When time to pay, we ask to speak to the manager (Andrew), just so we can inform him how the food and the service was. Andrew threaten to call the police because he assumed we did not want to pay. No one never mention anything about bill. We just wanted to inform him about the waitress that gave us poor service and the food was cold, and how long we had to wait. Service was horrible, there were only 5 tables in the area we were sitting in and literally waited 10 minutes before we even got our menus. Waitress finally brings our drinks and my girlfriend had to wait 15 minutes on mayo. Her food was cold and we never received any napkins which we asked for when we received our food. We received no apology did not want the food anymore and still had to pay. Management's response and I quote, " the best we can do is 50% off." This place needs a management change. One in particular by the name of BUDDY. I was here with a friend on the evening of 1/06/17. We witnessed BUDDY treating a bus boy like s**t in plan view for all customers to see, pointing at garbage that he could have easily picked up himself, raising his voice at the guy, swinging a garbage can around, motioning his finger at the guy to come clean it up like he was some 2 year old child who was about to get spanked. Clearly abusing his management position. I, as a person who has been in the customer service management position since the age of 18 took offense to this, so I spoke to the young bus boy and asked him if he gets treated like this on a regular basis. He nervously replied that he and BUDDY were good freinds and that he was just joking around with him.. ok cool, I left it alone and was no longer concerned about it. 5min later BUDDY approached our table in an agressive manner and asked me, " do you have something to say to me?". I told him that I was concerned with what I saw earlier but after speaking to the bus boy and he stating that they were cool, there wasn't anything more to be said. BUDDY'S first response was "1st off that wasn't the first time I asked him to clean up that mess, and 2nd I didn't say anything to you when I saw you dancing with my waitress" I was in shock. My response to that was, "what does my dancing with your waitress have anything to do with how you treat your employees". I explained to him.. "with my background in management, what I saw bothered me, but as I mentioned before I no longer cared since the bus boy gave the assumption that all was ok and how he is handling this situation with me is totally unprofessional and uncalled for. He continued on rambling about "how he treats his employees was none of my business" I sat there confused with my mouth open thinking to myself... really? I went on to tell him that as a professional he is handling this all wrong and that belittling his employees for all to see wasn't right and that this conversation should have ended when I first responded when he approached our table. His reponse to that was, "well guess what.. You're cut off". I replied, "really? you're cutting us off because I'm speaking to you out of concern for another human being?" He said, "yup". I told him that I was going to YELP my experience tonight, he said "and I'll respond to that YELP post", then I said, "go get your teeth fixed". It's obvious the guy brushes his teeth with hand grenades and mustard. Between my friend and I, we had 8 beers. I have the reciept to prove to Joey(district mgr) and Nick(owner) if needed, that we were not a pair of drunks looking to cause problems. I guess this guy BUDDY is use to dealing with beligerant drunks, but when faced with someone who isn't, and is able to make factual and honest statements towards him he doesn't know how to handle the situation the way a respectable mgr. should. Classic abuse of authority. I see that this place has a low ranking on Yelp and read a few of the other the posts which also seem to complain about the management at this place. My suggestion to the Sports City franchise is to either replace or retrain this guy, but please... please.. at the least give this guy a dental plan. His disgusting teeth alone would make any customer lose thier appetite if he approached them with a smile. Teeth all spaced out, crooked with a golden buttery brown tint to them.
