If Im being honest 2 stars is me being *nice*. Completely over priced. Staff was rude from the beginning. The young heavier set woman at the register had a very bad attitude and made it obvious that she was annoyed when a person was next in line because that meant she had to actually do her job. The young man next to her was no different. He didnt have a bad attitude like she did however, he would avoid eye contact and was on his phone not paying attention as I stood next in line. His co worker had to get his attention tell him that I was next. As far as the outdoors *amusement rides*... you will be lucky to get on a ride that you favor because of their "staffing issues". They were highly UNDER STAFFED. This was not only frustrating but also made you leave with a feeling of regret when purchasing any tickets let alone the Elite Pass. My kids got on 3 rides because of them being understaffed and no one was available to operate the rides. The outside staff was OK. There was a staff member with braids and sunglasses who was very nice and accommodating. The boys had a great time playing games but most games use 5-10 credits and thats a bit ridiculous. Ofcourse, because of them being understaffed there was only one person at the prize redemption desk. We were standing in line for 20 minutes because the family ahead of us couldnt decide what they wanted and only 1 staff member. There should definitely be a time limit as to how long you take at the prize redemption desk to be courteous of others. Lastly the food. Please do yourself a favor...DO NOT GET THE CHICKEN NUGGETS/TENDERS. They are disgusting and the chicken was like rubbery and stringy. There french fries were good and The food court staff was very nice. Overall, this place was a rip off and left us feeling overwhelmingly regretful of coming here. *Managers* please pay your staff more so they can actually seem happy. This is a childrens establishment. Being friendly should be the number 1 criteria when hiring. Also, if your understaffed, than all managers should be on the floor helping and there should be atleast 1 manager outside monitoring what is going on. read more

Long story short customer service turned into the disgruntled type that puts customers second and I got nickeled and dimed. The two cases I encountered were relating to a change in policy regarding expiration of points, and separately the theft of a card which I had proof of purchase of. I ended up losing a significant amount of money and points I saved up over the years due to their policies and willingness to help. First off called and asked if I needed reservation for Bday and was told it was not necessary. Arrive and there was a line and at capacity. Waited. Had season pass from 2020. Told it was not honored because previous company went bankrupt. Magically NEW company owns them and probably has same people running it like a clown circus. You cannot purchase a season pass. 50 bucks for 4 hours. Extremely long lines and half the crappy attractions are out of service and look like they have not been tuned up or cleaned in the last 10 years. Very disappointed in the setup. Complete waste of money. Save yourself and go to knotts or somewhere else that isn't such a dump. Complete rip-off. I have been to many Boomers location, including the ones in Upland and Fountain Valley, but surprisingly the Irvine location is most run down. It has quite the stale exterior with much renovations needed. Even a new layer of paint or simple upkeep via basic cleaning would be nice. Batting Cages Great for some batting practice, or in my case anger management. Pricing can be $3 for 25 pitches or you can do Batting Cage Rental: $20 for 30 minutes or $30 for 60 minutes. I have came here with my cousin and they have some protective head gear along the batting cages, but I question the cleanliness. I think it's best to bring your own so you don't catch lice or something. Mini Golf Mini Golf is one of my favorite past times, good clean fun. At this location it is $12/person and children under 5 are Free with a paying adult. They have score cards available at the front if you are competitive... which I AM!! And teams are limited to 4 people. To save time for others, any swing exceeding 5 swings will get you a score of 6. If you are new to golf, less swings are better! Hence the hole in one! Well this sad sad mini golf course is the most run down I have ever seen with leaves fallen all over the course and tragic patches of missing greenery. Yes... this mini golf course is BALDING!! It looks terrible and it really effects your performance. I really like Boomers so I hope Management reads this review and starts with baby steps... like just cleaning. My friend and I were in the bathroom and all of the stalls were terribly dirty. A little cleaning does a long way with customer satisfaction. NEVER AGAIN! Myself, my 9 yr old and my son's friend went to celebrate my son's birthday. I came armed with the buy one get one 50% off elite online ticket deal to learn each pass included enough arcade credits for literally 4 games. We were then hungry so one pizza, 3 smart water bottles ($5.60 each!) and one salad cost $70! SERIOUSLY! Oh then I had to pay $16 for me to be able to ride the go carts ONE time with them AND MY CAR putted the whole time sounding like Sanford and Son. Half of the attraction rides were closed so there went my unlimited attraction deal in the elite tickets scam. My son melted down when he realized his arcade credits were gone after the disappointment of the mostly closed attractions so I had to spend another $50 for 250 credits that basically got sucked fast by the 10 credits or more to play one game robbery. As a single Mom the over $200 spent felt like complete rip off! Oh and only 320 points earned with over $100 spent on arcade credits to win what kind of prize? Literally a small plastic piece of junk .50 would get you in a gumball prize machine at a grocery store or a candy I could get at the dollar tree. I should have took him to Knotts, Dave and Busters or even Disneyland. What a MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT! read more

So disappointed! I purchased the "Elite" tickets for myself and my 2 guests. Of the 10 attractions that we were supposed to enjoy unlimited access to, ONLY 2 WERE OPEN... the go carts and the miniature golf! Why would a business sell something to there customers when they know the customer won't be able to use them? Next we went to the arcade. Several of the games took credits from our cards but then would not work. We purchased bating cage tickets but only we could only get 2 of the 9 card readers that start the pitch machines to work. The mini-golf course is crying out for maintenance, as is the rest of the place. Very Sad. read more

Our first and last time here. There are too few rides and several were closed due to not having enough staff. It looks unkempt and neglected. The miniature golf was just ok - again old. You'll enjoy arcade games, laser tag, miniature golf, go kart racing, and some rides that you'd find at a traveling carnival. You'll also indulge in some food from the snack bar as you take a break from all of the fun. Boomers has multiple locations which also includes Speedzone in LA County. This particular business is located in the city of Irvine, off of Michaelson Drive. Conveniently, it's adjacent to the 405 freeway so you'll see it as you drive by. Ample parking is a available in the lot which they share with a bowling alley. Anyway, I was given a season pass to Boomers for Christmas. I had never heard of this type of deal but so far I've been using it and loving it!!! With the pass, you get unlimited drinks (soda), popcorn, and cotton candy. You also have unlimited access to the outdoor activities: miniature golf, carnival rides, go karts, rock climbing, and bumper boats. You'll have to pay extra for the arcade games though. I really like what Boomers has to offer! However, my gripe is with their bathrooms. They're always very dirty!!! If you're lucky to come when they've been cleaned up, you'll still find that it's still in need of some attention. Other than that, this place is alright. Boomers is a fun place to visit because you can exhaust yourself within a couple of hours. If you come early, you'll enjoy go kart racing and miniature golfing with little to no lines. read more

Out of all the Boomers locations this by far is my families favorite spot! They have amusement rides, water bumper boats, laser tag, batting cages, mini golf, and good food! The unlimited tickets were a great deal and the best buy to get your money worth, we happened to catch a BOGO deal so it made it even better! The lines weren't that long so going on the rides multiple times wasn't an issue at all. The workers there are all incredibly helpful when needed. All the arcade games worked which is a plus! The go karts were our highlight of the night, they even had mini go karts so our little ones could drive their own karts and they had a blast!! I had so much fun I even forgot to take pictures! Came here to celebrate Father's Day with my family. We came during peak hours. It took 15 mins to acquire the tickets/ pass. Mini golf was fun but they ran out of adult golf puds. So we use the kid size --- it would have been a 45 min wait for the adults size. The restrooms were absolutely disgusting. The outside: men's were locked and the women's had bodily fluids on the ground, no toilet covers and 1/3 had toilet paper . Also, there were barley any soap. My advice is to use the restroom at home before coming to this location. The arcade , was okay overall. They have a great selection of games but the lazer tag is okay-ish. I was confused on where the line started , some equipment is broken and the game was pvp . The go carts for kids are cool. However only 3 run at a time and there were kids in the area that were unattended. Those kids(6-10 years old ) got in physical altercation(pushing, slapping,punching, cussing), staff looked the other way and their parents were no where to be found. Customers service is swell. However, it's transparent that they are unstaffed. Given the unstaffed, many places are dirty. Overall, there are many activities at this location but this location is a pass. My advice is to visit lost worlds lazer tag and boomers located in the city of industry for a better experience. read more
