As soon as I would launch Zoom/MS Teams i would get cycling static in my Bluetooth AirPods (but not my wired headphones). I was also able to bluetooth pair with external speakers, but no sound - as soon as I disconnected the speakers sound would come from the internal laptop speakers. Both the AirPods and external speaker worked perfectly with my iPhone.
