Went in to upgrade my old iPhone to the iPhone 17. The At&T guy decided to then up sale and get me to purchase all of these accessories with the promise that they all have lifetime warranties and that AT&T will replace them for me for free. The day finally came where my screen protector that I purchased for $50 at AT&T cracked, and I'm now told I have to go through the manufacturer to get a new one! The AT&T said it could that 4-6 weeks and then I would still have to pay for shipping. I feel lied and swindled, never go to this AT&T and don't trust them at all! read more

I traded in my IPhone 11 for the 17 and was told I'd get $350 credit for the 11 as I qualified. 6 days later I get an email from AT&T saying I needed to upgrade my plan as my current plan didn't qualify for the trade in. Went to the store asking for the credit or my phone back and got neither. The girl helping me was the girl that sold me the phone. She was trying to help as the manager wasn't coming out from the back to deal with the issue. She had to go back and forth like 6 times to get answers. We all make mistakes and she tried to help. The manager needs to be replaced as he was useless and not once did he come out to try and help with the issue. Top it off, there were 5 people waiting behind me and she was the only person there besides him who was nowhere to be seen. Horrible experience.. Go to the corporate store on El Toro. read more

buyer beware, the store off of Golden Lantern in Dana point sells you items for your phone that break soon after you buy them. They do not honor their guarantee policy. They push you into buying multiple accessories and refuse to refund you once the item doesn't work any longer. It's absolutely horrible how they treat customers, I refuse to do business any longer with ATT. read more

I waited about 15min then two other customer came in. They were both white. Finally it was my turn, but they wind up helping the blond lady which she came in way after I did. I had to get a new phone and this location was the closest one. We didn't know how badly we had gotten taken until we moved and my husband had to get a phone. First, they gave us insurance on two lines the created for us with no phones because they said that's the only way to get a phone (still confusing but now we know why). The AT&T guy here in Florida told us that who ever set this up should be fired and cleaned up the mess that your employees created for us. We couldn't figure out why we had four lines for two phones and paid well over $200 a month. There's a reason the rating are ridiculously low. They should be ashamed of themselves. Unbelievable!! Shady business going on at Ladera Ranch Store. The person that was assisting my husband getting a new phone conveniently added a new phone line to our account. It was not a mistake! This was discovered when I received my new monthly cellular bill. The sales associate that did this was named Belky, B. This store is NOT part of AT&T but an affiliate called Prime Communications-CA Ladera Ranch. This was not only and inconvenience but it has has cost me hours of my time having to go thru AT&T fruad department. The AT&T representative warned of this for any future transactions it's best to use an AT&T corporate store. read more

The managements at this store is possibly the worst I've ever experienced when it comes to customer service. We are working through the process of upgrading our iPhones and after spending 2.5 hours on the phone with customer service and loyalty we had to go in person to verify identity. After doing so the manager's recommendation was to sit in the store and call att directly. We spoke to over 4 different representatives on the phone while in store and the managers did NOTHING to assist or help work through the upgrade challenge. When it comes to customer service all I'm looking for is that they try and care about my situation. After 2+.5 hours of being transferred and placed on hold a manager finally tried to ask and understand what the problem is. Where was their engagement and support HOURS ago??? The manager was spending his time walking around the store making phone calls. The att model is completely disconnected. The store can do nothing to help you except to have you call the att helpline. Att managers can do nothing but simple, basic tasks with no care or incentive to help customers with other problems. 6+ hrs to upgrade a phone and still required to pay fees? Att is a disgraceful company and the manager at this store should be ashamed. read more

I went into the AT&T store where I have bought all my iPhones up until now and have always had all of my questions answered respectfully and full until today! I had 2 questions: 1 If someone next to me could get into my phone if I was signed in to the phone and reading my messages? 2. If other members of the same cellular plan are able to get info on my phone? If, so is there any way to secure those Apps? I got a lecture and told the only defense is the device password and ATT is only about the carrier service and Apple has their own defenses. The customer behind me the agent was wrong. Hackers can grab info while the phone is unlocked and using it. Also members using the same cell carrier can get info without your device p/w. The customer told me to just Google those questions and next time go to AT&T on Aliso Creek Road where he was going to go. The agent did not want to help or didn't know anything about the devices. The customer also told me not to change from Cox to AT&T internet because Cox is messed up because they're trying to replace all their old equipment to new high speed and will end up better than AT&T. The customer service was a little spotty before and really bad compared to the other branches. But, the tall skinny guy at this store basically lost two customers in 10 mins by repeating "That's not how it works and You don't get what I'm trying to tell you. If you don't want someone in your house (phone) don't give them the key". The questions weren't about me giving someone my device password which I didn't anyway. Poor customer service. read more

Not a big fan of AT and T billing department, but their retail store here in Laguna Niguel is good. Dealt with Lucas over the years and he gets things done correctly the first time. He's very knowledgeable, will find the best offer for you, and follows up on getting things done. He was able to process two new cell phones, transfer the services, and saved us money, will within one hours. I highly recommend you make an appointment online first before going. Absolute liars! Avoid at at all cost! Lucas who is so called the manager lied to me saying the only charges that I will see on my monthly bill will be $50 and nothing else. Total lie! I specifically asked him if he was sure and was there ANY OTHER FEE and said no. That's when I paid $600 for the entire year up front to him. First bill arrived and I saw a deduction of $99.00 for the installation and $10.78 for taxes in addition to the $50 monthly fee. Hello? What part of " is there any other fee" means to these guys??? Obviously he lied and avoids my calls because that is what they do to get you in. AT&T customer service is also a joke. They can't do anything either that juSt like a machine explain the fees. Only after driving to two different AT&T stores and calling all day and getting no answer, I drove to this location and was helped by a woman named Nancy. I wanted to get one of the numbers changed on my Dual Sim iPhone and nowadays you can only do it in person. Anyway she "Nancy" was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do, wasted no time at all. Blew through it like it was nothing, if only I could work my iPhone that well. If I could give this location a big fat ZERO, I would. Came in over the weekend to update my husband's new company phone. Although there were no customers and all they were doing was watching a football game, Brandon tells my husband to do it himself by going on line. Clearly, he's tried and that's the reason we're here. After about 15 minutes of this unprofessional and unhelpful attitude, we left. I can't believe how this company hired these unprofessional people who act as if you interrupted them by walking in. I don't know if it's AT&T or just this location. I'll never be back. In addition, I lost one of my earrings and called to see if I lost it in their store. Ty tells me that they are remodeling and they don't have a lost and found department. What store doesn't have, I ask. He says that no one ever leaves anything at their store. We are on a family plan with 5 phones. 4 were eligible for upgrades. We wanted to get new I-phone 13 pro max for all 4 of them. Brandon and LeRenzo were both on duty this day. Brandon came over to let us know that the stores are completely out of phones do to chip shortages and high demand due to holidays and well factories not able to make them as fast shipping and all the above.... They both checked on getting whichever color was fastest into our hands. We got our 4 new phones shipped and delivered within 3 days after leaving the store from them not having them in stock at all. I was very impressed with this since the ETA was longer. We brought the phones back in and got them all set up both Brandon and LeRenzo Helped set them up for us. They also helped my parents trade in their old phones and gave them credit on them on our phone plan and upgraded our phone plan to get us with the most current. AT&T Internet: I recently switched to AT&T Internet and had it for 4 days. It was awful! While the price was good, the sales representatives in the store misrepresented the product and service I would be receiving. I told them my needs (i.e. 2 people working from home full time), the number of devices that would be connected, streaming services, etc. The two sales representatives ASSURED me it would be great and there wouldn't be any issue. That was completely false. The internet was not strong enough to maintain a stable and strong connection with our companies servers and did not live up to what we were sold. Even on our phones, the connection was incredibly poor and slow. I do not recommend anyone getting AT&T Internet. I will give kudos to the customer service for not charging us for the installation or first months charge, as we canceled within what they call their "Buyers Remorse" policy. read more

I really wish I could give this location a negative five star (-5). The customer service is slow and not wise. I have been to this store a few times, every single time it's been a slow and painful experience. The staff is mostly young and inexperienced. The phones are always ringing in the back and no one answers. If you have questions, you're better off googling for answers. This location is simply there to try to sell you merchandise. If you have any other business, such as trying to pay off the balance on a phone, they want you to do it online. They will always refer you to customer service, which is also brutal and gets you nowhere. Maybe I'm just old, but I as a business owner, I go the extra mile for my clients. Maybe I just miss the good ol' days of good customer service. You know, back when you could actually talk to someone and not a computer. Back when you could visit a store and talk with a person who really did know how to help you if you had questions. This store has awful service!! After waiting over an hour when there was only two customers ahead of us we still had not been assisted. When the last previous customer left the staff took another 10 min to complete paperwork at which time the previous customer came back into the store and they helped them immediately while we continued to wait. We just walked out and will buy a prepaid plan on line. Much easier and as it turns out way cheaper!! Don't go to this store unless you have a few hour of your life to kill. They lied about everything at this store. They said they were going to buy my old phone, gave me a quote, and did not do so when I brought the phone to them the next day. They said my bill would be $55 a month and it is $115 a month. I would never have left Verizon wireless if I knew they were going to charge me $115. I was paying $100 for 2 lines at Verizon. AT&T are liars. I cannot seem to create an account to access the details of my bill. Every time I try through the website, it is not working and I get error pages. It tells me to try again later. When I try to pay without signing in, they can find my phone and text me my balance, but when I want to make an account on the website to see my bill they cannot find my phone number or information. Imagine that. This whole experience is incredibly frustrating. I will be moving back to Verizon and I will never return to AT&T. read more

This review is not so much for the store as for one employee: Lucas. My phone has been having serious problems for a couple of months and I have been into several ATT stores and had several reps attempt to help me. Until Lucas, the same thing happened repeatedly: The rep would mumble about how strange my phone was acting, then announce that it was "fixed". It would operate fine for a few days and then return to it's bad behavior (no connection, no mms messages, pretty much just an operating PHONE). Lucas was the first to want to truly help me, rather than just get me out the door. After putting a lot of time into trying to make my Note run properly, he told me that it was likely beyond help and probably was a hardware issue (broken antenna). If you think this is where he tried to make the big sell, you are wrong. He instead educated me on insurance and referred me to a website to file a claim. Thanks, Lucas. read more
