So on monday I went in to exchange sone pants that didnt fit. The girl at the counter asked if they had been washed i said yes because they were worn once. She called who I believed to be the manager over and she said no we can't take them back because they were washed in a shity rude attitude. Today my family went to boot barn for the first time. We are looking for shirts for my husband and the selection was great but we will probably just shop online moving forward. I made not one but two purchases and I swear we were followed and watched by not only store associates BUT also customers. Even my own kid pointed out at one point before our first checkout that everyone was watching us. I make a point to not mention stuff like that around my kid in case they don't notice but they did. Now our cashiers were great got me registered for rewards and took good care of us. While my kid tried on pants we were finally left alone but my husband was not. As my kid and I did our second purchase my husband moves toward to front door and is practically ran after by an associate. For what? What would you have even done? Completely unnecessary. I love fashion. My family values fashion. Coming to Boot Barn was supposed to be a nice experience for my family exploring fashion together. We found some amazing fabrics and designs. I want to thank Myra and Austin for helping me solve my problem. I had bought utility working boots, brand Keen, in Modesto, CA. I'm a traveler electrical technician and these boots started to rip after 5 weeks of being used. Got them for $175 and thought I had bought some good working boots, but suddenly the sole was coming off. I called customer service and followed their instructions. Went inside Boot Barn and Myra helped me right away and Austin came in to help as well. They seen how bad my boots were and told me to get a new pair and the process was easy. I went in to look at hats and found one that was the most amazing color but I wasn't a huge fan of the shape of it. The associate there let us know that he could reshape it for us if we wanted, free of charge, as it is a service that boot barn offers. His name was DYLAN. He wasn't too sure if he could get the shape I was hoping for and/or the dents out because he wasn't the "official hat shaper" and he was still learning. My boyfriend recognized him because he had shaped his previous hat a year or two ago and that original hat was in rough shape, yet it came out beautiful. So we left him with the new hat for an hour or so to work his magic on it. And magic it was, it came out absolutely amazing. It was everything I wanted and more. I didn't know how I wanted to brim to look so he let us know that we could always come back and he can change it and fix it up for us. My boyfriend ordered another hat online from him at the time as well because they were out of the size he needed and we made sure that Dylan would be able to reshape that hat as well if we needed and Dylan excitedly agreed for us, thank god! I like this store it has a lot of things I want but I just can't afford. For example ostrich skin boots starting at a low $250. The staff are very friendly and helpful but I think they might be on commission. The only drawbacks are everything is tight together you hardly have room to walk. I think they need a bigger building. So much stuff you can get lost for hours. For what they sale the price is good. You know even with the tight quarters the store stays very clean and organized. I ended up finding a pair that I liked better so I did an exchange. My exchange was hassle free and quick. They were having a tent sale and it is rodeo weekend so the store was rather busy on a Saturday but a sales rep did ask me if I needed anything when I was trying on boots. The prices are about what you would expect to pay. I checked on Amazon to see how much the boots were that I was returning and Amazon had them for $5 cheaper. Not a big deal. read more

We have been shopping here for years and love the quality of boots and clothing Boot Barn carries but our last few visits in have been very disappointing due to a lack of customer service from the staff. Although the last few visits the store has been slow, not once did my husband or I get acknowledged with a simple hello or got asked if we needed help with anything, yet there was three cashier's standing there talking. Been shopping at boot barn for years and it's been great, but today I received poor service. I spent over $400 in the last 2 weeks there and went today to pick up a hat and boots for a gift. When arriving the hats had $49.99 posted and said Black Friday special on Cody James hats. So I decided to get one and then I went and selected the boots I needed to buy. I asked for the box and was told they don't keep the boxes, funny story is 2 weeks ago a lady that helped me got me boxes for 2 PAIRS of BOOTS and provided great customer service. So whatever, I paid money for a box, it just doesn't make sense that they come in a box, I pay money and can't get the box they come in. Then the hat gets rung up at $69.99 and I let them know the signs are up (more then 1 sign) and I was told Black Friday sale must be done so can't Honor it. We let him know sign still posted and he didn't even bother to look and didn't seem to care to go check. So I informed him they need to take the sign down. So I get to my car to leave and I am upset that they would leave the sign up so I turned back around went into the store and sign still up and I take a picture just to post on here. I have my receipt and name of the associate. I just think to not get a box on $160 pair of boots is ridiculous especially when I keep coming back and then to not fix sign is playing with my emotions. A young lady had did the transfer for me a few days before Which I greatly appreciated. However the service was horrible when I went in to pick them up. The customer service was terrible, and the supervisor on duty was extremely rude and not helpful to my husband. My husband ended up calling the customer service number and was then contacted by the store manager. Scott, their new store manager is EXCEPTIONAL. He was very apologetic to my husband and myself, and went out of his way to make the moment right. Very appreciate for customer service like that! Terrible customer service both times I visited this store. I would not have come back a second time however I had a gift card that could not be used online. Finally after being in the store for 30 minutes someone asked me if I needed help. After telling me about an additional discount of 25% off on clearance items she thought existed she said she would go double check for me.
