I would rate this company a - 10 if possible. Purchased a 2004 Subaru sti from them. Had been seaching out of state for the right mileage and year I wanted. Big mistake buying out of state because I couldn't let my tuner inspect it before purchase. I had the car shipped to me and drove it straight to my tuner. Dropped it off told him to take a full look at everything and to take his time as this is my 2nd car and a weekend toy that I'm turning into a show car. He calls me a few weeks later only to drop the bomb. The 2nd cylinder is at 80 psi. The engine is blown and needs to be rebuilt. The cost to rebuild is 6000. I called booth motors and spoke with Don who put me on the phone with his gm. The gm could care less and stated this is why they sale cars as is. I asked if they did a compression test on their vehicles. He said no. If the car starts up and drives they Do not test them. So in other words. As long as the vehicle can appear to be in good enough shape to sell, they can care less. Stay away from these scammers. You have been warned. I will never buy from a non certified dealer again. Had a 40 minute drive up from Englewood only to wait an hour to be rejected on something I didn't intend to come into for. I saw that these guys were selling a 2008 Lexus IS F for cheaper than most dealerships here in Colorado and I thought, "hey, why not make it into a little trip to see what the car is like?" Now don't get me wrong, I do look young but I'm old enough to make certain decisions. I got there to inspect the car which was sitting in the front lot. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the car, I'd rate it at a 4/10. It looked like they just thrashed it around on the highway then immediately put it back into the line up without bothering to give it a quick rinse, I mean the wheels were absolutely covered in brake dust. Then after looking around the car for a good 30 minutes, I went inside to see if I could get a test drive with the car. Ironically, there was absolutely no one to greet/help out with any of my needs. After another 30 minutes of waiting I ended up going back outside to see if there was any life. I still ended up with no luck. Finally after returning back inside, I was finally greeted by an uninterested employee who I asked to open up the car, which by the way never happened. After that I went back inside to get the car unlocked again, and was approached by another employee who seemed rather uninterested/annoyed at my presence there to see if I could test drive a car. I ended up filling out a credit application to see if I could even get a loan (on which I was not planning to) to only be turned down without anything being processed or even glanced over. I was then shown out the dealership door and at that point I had lost my patience quite a while ago. Customer service is a joke at this dealership. They may have nice cars, but there seems to be a reason why they haven't sold the car I was looking at. I wouldn't drive 40 minutes again to just be rejected by a stiff upper lip salesman. If you want to be treated as well as the cleanliness of the cars here for sale, then this is your place. Hi i baught a dodge ram with booth motors that ended being a lemonnn.... ive put money into the suspension and it is still wandering all over the road when the salesman said it was only the steering gear box... they sold a unsafe vehicle ..the tires were 6 ply which are illegal for a diesel heavy duty truck..the ac doesnt work and i noticed it was in a accident so i guess it was never reported...u cant drive this truck straight ...i guess i should of check it out better...i wouldnt recomend booth even if ive heard good things about this deelership...i guess i got the dealer lemon read more

They're not very trustworthy. They say you can't test drive until you're approved because they have "high horse powered cars" but really the reasoning is they don't want you to take it to your mechanic to check out and see if the car has issues or if it's Aftermarket. Well just got off the phone with their, ''acts like he knows it all but really doesn't'' finance Manager who NEVER did answer my question about why they did'n't tell me they were going to send my finance packet directly to my bank and not to the county where I live. After calling and asking and being told, 'we sent it off' '' I finally tracked it all down. As for who would have paid the sales tax penalty well.... once again, no straight answer. I asked for the carfax and got an immediate response from the sales team with the full history of the car. Everything looked good and after test-driving I decided to try and make a deal. I went to booth motors today to buy a truck i had found and really like on there website. After the long drive there i got out of my vehicle and I couldn't seem to find anybody that worked there!! The lot was full of customers all asking one another if there were any sales people around.. (Iv never seen anything like this.) After entering the building and looking around for a while i found a a rude old man who couldn't speak English very well. He didn't seem to want to leave his office or sell a vehicle today. BEWARE IF BUYING FROM ANOTHER STATE. I've recently bought my car from Rod and the way he handled my car buying experience was terrible. I work for BMW myself and sell cars all the time so I know a thing or two on how you should treat customers, especially if they're buying from another state. The whole time me and Rod talked, he seemed as if he was always in a rush and a bit irritated as well. He also didn't want to show me the Carfax but informed me of only one bad thing on the car which was the accident. I also asked him was there anything on the car that I need to know about that wasn't 100% or wrong. He did tell me about the cigarette burns and a chip above the car but informed me that the car is in really good shape and was nothing wrong with it. I asked if the car would be detailed by the time the shipping company ships it to me and he said yes (I have all of my calls recorded, always cover my butt if need be) and asked about gas and he said that it will have plenty of gas in it for me. -Here's where it get messed up at.....1st the car came later than expected and promised. I had to delay a trip because of it. - The car NOT DETAILED at all, it was really dirty inside and out. The exterior wasn't dirty because of traveling neither, I know how that looks. The gas stick was right on E, didn't have enough gas to drive 2 miles. My temp tag was nowhere to be found, he had to email it to me then mail me the real copy. My car was missing all of it's speakers except for the tweeters, wires hanging everywhere from the missing speakers. Negative battery connecter corroded. As soon as I started the car, I saw that there's an exhaust leak and was able to confirm it by a mechanic. The milage reading was modified (Source: CarFax) And the list goes on... After having the car a few days, he mailed me the carfax, also had to let him know that I'm missing a keyfob to the car. He later mailed that to me as well. I would had liked if these things was disclosed to me in the beginning. But, anything to sell a car right Rod? I know that things go bad on a preowned car but why am I finding myself replacing over $870 worth of things already? IF I WERE YOU, DON'T BUY FROM HERE UNLESS YOU ARE THERE TO SEE, TOUCH, FEEL, LISTEN AND TAKE TO A MECHANIC, especially if it's a used car. I wouldn't recommend buying from this dealership and if you do, beware of Rod! PS. I have photos on day one of everything I'm talking about and the photos have a time stamp which can prove when they were taking. When we were thinking about buying the car he was just a phone call away, but after the car broke, just ten miles off the lot, he was no where to be found. spent months trying to contact this man and i got nothing but a, "sorry, the car is no longer our problem". i even had a certified car dealership look at the car to make sure we hadn't caused the issue with the engine. turns out one of Nick Booths employees installed a major part of the engine incorrectly. you'd expect a dealership the hire men that actually understand how to work on cars. A 1 star rating is way overrated would give them a 0 if possible. Customer service was fine until you sat down to talk about price. Cons you into filling out a credit check and claims that "you asked for it". Offered me 16k for a truck 2 months ago and went in last week and offered me 10k only as trade in though. My truck was in mint condition no mechanical problems and nothing wrong at all with the interior, it was in immaculate condition. Also said that i lied to them about it being 4wd, I could not lie about that, you can look under the truck and obviously see it was 2wd. Jesse was a horrible salesman, tried to negotiate a price and claimed that he was going to "talk to his manager". So, i decided to ask for a manager to make the negotiation process faster and he just kept going back and forth claiming to have talked to him. He basically pushed me out of the door while negotiating. Disgusting company would never go back to that place or recommend anybody to go there. read more

I drove to Booth Motors from Colorado Springs after talking to one of their associates about a 2003 GMC 2500HD Diesel. This particular truck was priced at $14,995 which would be a fair price if the truck was in good condition. To say that it wasn't would be an understatement. This truck was dented and scratched everywhere. The molding attached to the chrome bumper was falling off as was most all the molding on the truck. When I crawled underneath to inspect the first thing I noticed was caked on mud everywhere and quite frankly that was the pretty part in comparison to all of the rust. I started looking around more and needed to remove pieces of shrubbery to inspect certain aspects of the suspension and driveline. The last thing I saw was obvious leaks coming from everywhere a truck could leak. Having seen enough of the undercarriage I then wanted to check the interior. When I went to open the passenger side door it dropped drastically enough that I had to lift it up to close it. The interior was also quite unpleasant to look at. I had enough at this point when the sales associate approached with a plate for a test drive. I declined as I had absolutely no interest in this vehicle anymore but I asked if there was any other diesel 4 door pickups available seeing as I drove 100 miles to see this horrific vehicle. He pointed me in the direction of a 2004 Dodge 2500 quad cab. I looked it over and found many issues albeit far less than the GMC. So thinking a fair price for this truck would be around $15,000 in its condition I inquired to find it was priced at $21,995. I have worked in the automotive industry for a very long time and also keep up on trends quite a bit. With that said I can declare with 100% honesty that Booth Motors pricing is absolutely ridiculous for the products they are selling. Yup, "vandalism". After completing a bbb complaint and not getting a satisfactory response, our next move is legal action. I have NEVER gone through this process before, but this endangered the lives of my family and all the other little kids we have had in our truck from date of purchase (thank God it was just my hubby in the truck when the wheel came off and when the back right axle twisted and came off). From my understanding (spoke to an attorney), if there are enough of us with similar grievances, we can pursue a class action lawsuit to stop these guys from putting anyone else's life in danger through neglect (I only want them to reimburse the damage they caused and put some safeguards in practice to prevent these things from continuing). I have already talked to a former employee that has expanded on the fraud/half-butt auto work that is happening in this office. These guys just flip cars. Buy low, sell high. Even if the cars are junk, they sell what people want. I happened to be one of those people and bought a car 8 months ago and now it sits in my garage collecting dust cause a rod knock. Can't really knock there hustle cause they are getting paid either way. Doing what it takes to sell a car. It would have been nice to get some use out of the car though and not be writing this review that's taking senseless minutes out of my life. But ultimately, the fault lands on the buyer for being impulsive. The excitement of getting something I always wanted didn't turn out so well, and now it's on me. Only leaving one star since I have to. Should be zero. Traded my Expedition for something more gas efficient. Decided on a subaru imprezza only after jumping they the hoops of finance and hours at a dealership before even test driving a single car! As soon as I got home I saw an oil leak in my garage which was eventually "fixed" only to have a bigger leak a month later. Oh and the paint on the entire front bumper came off at the first at home car wash that was done. (Hose pressure water!) The reason I was told was because I drove thru hydrolic fluid that someone else dropped on the road. They were gracious enough to offer me a deal in re-painting it at full cost to me! Buyers beware! I wish I would have know about this place before I went in and got suckered with a lemon that is now my problem! Do your research! read more

While their customer service during time of sale is very good, they knowingly sold me a car that required extensive engine and suspension repairs. They lied to my face about the condition of the car and when I tried to talk to them after the fact, they ignored my calls and drug their feet about cancelling the warranty policy they sold me which covered nothing. They sold me a car that was unsafe (back breaks were almost metal on metal) knowing I would be driving it in the mountains in winter. Do not trust anything these people say. read more

These guys are the epitome of the used car salesman. They advertised a car as "recently restored" and a "9.5/10". The gas tank is ruptured, 90% of the electrical doesn't work, the drivetrain is too short and binds among with other issues. The biggest issue is they sold the car with a 1960's replacement engine in a 1976 Landcruiser which is illegal and can't pass smog. I've filed a complaint with the department of revenue (DMV). Booth claims they have no fault despite all this and offered me $500 to change my review to positive while I'm out $20K. Avoid these guys at all costs. They have no morals. read more

He sold me a car and told me to test drive it down on Main Street where the speed limit is 25 mph. As soon as i bought the car and tried to drive it home, it wouldn't go faster than 25! I brought it back the next day and he said "as is" and wouldn't take the car back! I bought it for $12,5 and had to sell it for $4 . These people are dishonest scammers. They will take care of you until you sign the papers. They will polish up a vehicle push it out with out even checking out under the hood. I had a scheduled trade in, I walked in, no one greeted me. The man I dealt with was shockingly chauvinistic. I wondered if they actually wanted to sell me a car. The owner was sarcastic and I was quite taken aback, which I rarely am. Completely unprofessional. I ended up purchasing the car from them after negotiation (even though we had agreed on something a month before, as I was coming from out of state and had made a special trip). They tried to take off a trade in price for (literally) 10x more than something I knew the cost of. Two years later I am still having issues with a speaker. Although I know used cars can have their difficulties, I would never recommend this dealership, in fact, I would discourage anyone from buying here. I have never felt uncomfortable, and further, offended, by a group of people before. There was zero customer service. If I wouldn't have driven from another state, and had a plan to purchase the vehicle I never would have due to the way they treated me. It's 2015, treat women with some class and basic social skills. If I could give these guys more than 5 stars I would. Great guys, who try hard to sell the best used vehicles possible. I just moved to Colorado about 7 months ago and am happy to have been able to do business with this dealership. All I can say is that if you want a brand new vehicle, go buy yourself a brand new vehicle. I've only bought a few brand new vehicles in my life and one of those gave me more trouble than anything used I've ever bought. There is no tricks or gimmicks to buying a used vehicle. It is what it is. Sometimes you get a good one sometimes you don't. The ones that aren't, most times you can't tell, until you take it on a long trip under sufficient stress. It's not reasonable to expect the dealership to drive each and every car they purchase to sell around for 90 days to see if it's gonna be a really really good one, a really good one or a good bad one.
