Rise and shine skillet with over medium egg
    Ethan B.

I ordered the rise and shine skillet and a side biscuit. The biscuit, along with the other great reviews, really caught my eye and inspired me to try it. The service staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was clean with a great vibe. I was able to sit at a booth right away after entering, which was great since I arrived at 10 a.m. I was greeted with a water and menu shortly after, and a server followed up quickly. I was torn between the Belgian waffle, chicken and waffle, skillet, and biscuit sandwiches. I decided on the rise and shine skillet with an over-medium fried egg on top and a biscuit on the side, thanks to the server Yasmeen's recommendations. Now, the food is here! The first thing I noticed was how quickly it arrived, and it was a generous portion. There's a lot of onions on top of plenty of cubed ham, all on a generous bed of house potatoes. The skillet is sizzling, and the biscuit looks homemade and fluffy. Time to taste! Starting with the skillet, it's okay, about 3.5 out of 5. It's mostly onion in the flavor, which isn't a bad thing, but I was expecting more distinct flavors in each layer. Next up, the biscuit. It was soft and had a hint of buttery flavor. I spread the butter on a portion with the jam, and it tasted more like cornbread. Overall, I'd come back and try a different meal when I'm in the area. There was also a recommendation for the Nashville hot sweet and spicy chicken sandwich, which might be my next go-to.

Breakfast, brunch, lunch and then later Dinner. We find this is usually a quick place to stop for a "brunch" breakfast. There are many Mexican influences but also southern thus the biscuits part. The green chili is spicy! They offer a variety of booze/cocktails like a very good Bloody Mary. Husband likes the omelette and I get different items. Food is good quality and tasty. Service is good, friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is a "bar" but there are plenty of booths and a nice patio in good weather. Lots of high bar tables

Interesting concept here! I came for breakfast but this would be a great spot for dinner and drinks while you watch a sporting event. Looks like a sports bar with huge TVs all over the place. I ordered the stuffed French toast. I have had this at other restaurants and they did it a little different. It was almost like a CLUB SANDWICH with 3 slices of bread cut like a club sandwich but no meats or cheese. It was pretty good. Also ordered a side of bacon and it had a great smoke flavor.

Kick off to the new year breakfast. I ordered the Better Than Mom's Breakfast with bacon and over easy eggs. The restaurant is clean and the server was friendly and welcoming. The eggs were a little more cooked but it was fine. The bacon good. The biscuit is a nice change from toast but next time I'll have toast instead as the biscuit is too flaky for me to have with eggs and bacon. The potatoes were cooked well and I enjoyed them. Everyone seemed to like their meal so we will be back.

Biscuits and gravy appetizer. One biscuit. Delicious.

Ordered just the one biscuit and gravy appetizer but it was delicious with small chunks of bacon in it. Wish I would've ordered the entree. Service was great and the vibe in the restaurant is really comforting and welcoming.

I had a coupon to try either a free Stuffed French Toast plate or a free Breakfast Skillet, I chose the skillet & some quesadillas from the Urban Sombrero menu. Boozy Biscuit is under the same roof as Urban Sombrero & they share the same restaurant space. I called in & picked up my order. It was ready when I got there - fifteen minutes later. The service was friendly, with plenty of parking & there's an outdoor covered patio as well. I had the Make My Day Skillet. This was a big plate of food & it came with two eggs on top of sausage, bacon, diced ham, chorizo, grilled onions, potatoes & melted cheese. Unfortunately, this was way too spicy for me to finish. In addition, there were too many onions, the eggs were suppose to be over easy but were over medium & the cheese was forgotten. The Ground Beef Quesadilla appetizer had lots of beef but they also were too spicy to finish. Even tho these dishes were too hot for my palette I would return. I've been here before & had some really delicious Cheese Enchiladas & Chile Rellenos!

French toast. Served cold so butter didn't melt ever. Super dry. No powdered sugar on it. Do not recommend

Water and coffee ran empty. Wasn't super busy, just people watching football at 1 on a Sunday. Server didn't ask how food was. App was brought same time as mains. French toast was just toast with a splash of egg on it. Super dry and cold - to the point the butter wouldn't melt on it. Skip this place. Lots of tvs for football watching. No brunch drink specials.

    Big Daddy Breakfast Burger

Service and ambience are great for a nice upscale sports bar. Waitresses very attentive, friendly, quick with requests. 1/2lb patty of Big Daddy Breakfast Burger is outstanding: medium is pink, moist yet crusty outside, fresh bun large and chewy, egg was perfectly medium = egg-salent flavor. Bacon Egg Cheese biscuit quite large & also of excellent flavor. Prices are modern so $30 w/iced tea getting to be standard. Was passing thru, Yelp reviews persuaded us, they were right - this place is a superb eatery.

The food was okay. The pancakes were not cooked throughly. The rise skillet stated items in the skillet was diced they were sliced ,huge chucks. The service was average. We were seated outside the metal table was filthy, staff cleaned them when asked. It was quiet ,

I sat at the bar and had breakfast. The service was great and the bartender had an infectious smile on his face the entire time. The food was solid. There were several large groups (12 and 14 people in my immediate vicinity), but service did not suffer for it. This is a nice stop on a Saturday morning.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. It was ok. We were seated quickly. Our servicer was quick to get our drinks and food came out faster than expected. The flavors were ok, but not great. The breakfast burrito was a little too spicy, not sure if it was the chorizo or green chili. Hubby's French toast was alright, surprisingly on the dry side. I didn't find it as good as I expected. The vibe was kinda off, idk .. they do have large portions. I just didn't taste any "love" in the food. Besides the burrito being spicy, the food was lacking real flavor. For 2 adults for brunch with 1 $6 beer, 2 entrees and 1 coffee it was over $60. Value didn't meet quality.

Two restaurants in one: Urban Sombrero & Boozy Biscuit but the inside has Boozy Biscuit written everywhere. Large place and there was no wait when we arrived around 10:30. Seemed a little understaffed with the bartender also having the whole bar seating area but they had good team work and people were helping her out. Food came out sizzling hot and was very good. Ingredients seemed fresh. We will definitely go back.
