The food was great. Excellent breakfast food if you're in the area. That's all you need to know.

Our experience here was actually shocking lol. I saw two other low rated reviews from the day we went on google, so it doesn't appear that our experience was unique... We went for a late brunch knowing it would be busy on Mother's Day weekend, and were prepared to wait, but had been wanting to give it a try. As soon as we walked in we were ignored by the hostess for an unknown reason, however another girl saw and came over to seat us... great! We get it, it's busy so thought okay awesome we can get right in. She was the best part of our entire experience, probably the only person we encountered who seemed genuinely helpful and aware. We sat outside and the table was filthy. Okay... no biggie it can be cleaned. The server eventually comes over and takes our drink order. When she brings them they spill on the already dirty table, so I asked for some extra napkins and a wet towel to wipe the table if they have it... to which she replied "It'll evaporate." Then a few minutes later another girl came over and tossed two wet-naps on the table and walked away. Did not say a word... okay. Remember: I kindly asked for napkins lol and a wet towel *if possible*. At this point we were looking around for hidden cameras, surely this was a prank, right?????? We waited to see if maybe things could turn around... but it was downhill from the start. We ended up asking for the check for the drinks we had gotten to continue our day on a better note elsewhere. The waitress (who I'm not naming out of grace) had a horrible attitude and just walked away. She brought our check but no one came to take the payment... fine, we were finishing our drinks anyway. Oh! And one of the glasses we got for our drinks was dirty so we were just sharing one cup :) After some time I saw the manager who was cleaning up a table and seemed to wish he could avoid coming over and let him know what happened, he said "he'll take care of it". Then disappeared never to be seen again. So we waited and finally flagged down another person to take the payment so we could head out, we also let her know our experience was shocking to which she was defensive instead of interested. We finally left after an hour of this and went to a local fav and had a wonderful rest of our day-- they even wiped the table without us asking when we got there! We're super chill and I used to work in the restaurant business, so we tend to extend a lot of grace, but the service here was truly unacceptable and jarring. My friends and I came here before going to the airport. We called ahead to reserve a table for a large group. When we got there, we were seated right away. Service was slow- it took awhile to order and for our food to come. Most of us got something with a biscuit. I got a chicken biscuit with gravy. I forgot what it was called. We stopped at The Boozy Biscuit for breakfast near the airport and had a really great experience. Even though we skipped the "boozy" part since it was still pretty early, the food was excellent and definitely worth the stop. The staff was friendly and welcoming, service was quick, and the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, which made for a relaxing breakfast before heading out. Breakfast, brunch, lunch and then later Dinner. We find this is usually a quick place to stop for a "brunch" breakfast. There are many Mexican influences but also southern thus the biscuits part. The green chili is spicy! They offer a variety of booze/cocktails like a very good Bloody Mary. Husband likes the omelette and I get different items. Food is good quality and tasty. Interesting concept here! I came for breakfast but this would be a great spot for dinner and drinks while you watch a sporting event. Looks like a sports bar with huge TVs all over the place. I ordered the stuffed French toast. I have had this at other restaurants and they did it a little different. Kick off to the new year breakfast. I ordered the Better Than Mom's Breakfast with bacon and over easy eggs. The restaurant is clean and the server was friendly and welcoming. The eggs were a little more cooked but it was fine. The bacon good. The biscuit is a nice change from toast but next time I'll have toast instead as the biscuit is too flaky for me to have with eggs and bacon. The potatoes were cooked well and I enjoyed them. The first thing I noticed was how quickly it arrived, and it was a generous portion. There's a lot of onions on top of plenty of cubed ham, all on a generous bed of house potatoes. The skillet is sizzling, and the biscuit looks homemade and fluffy. Time to taste! Starting with the skillet, it's okay, about 3.5 out of 5. It's mostly onion in the flavor, which isn't a bad thing, but I was expecting more distinct flavors in each layer. Next up, the biscuit. It was soft and had a hint of buttery flavor. I spread the butter on a portion with the jam, and it tasted more like cornbread. Overall, I'd come back and try a different meal when I'm in the area. I had a coupon to try either a free Stuffed French Toast plate or a free Breakfast Skillet, I chose the skillet & some quesadillas from the Urban Sombrero menu. Boozy Biscuit is under the same roof as Urban Sombrero & they share the same restaurant space. I called in & picked up my order. It was ready when I got there - fifteen minutes later. The service was friendly, with plenty of parking & there's an outdoor covered patio as well. I had the Make My Day Skillet. This was a big plate of food & it came with two eggs on top of sausage, bacon, diced ham, chorizo, grilled onions, potatoes & melted cheese. Unfortunately, this was way too spicy for me to finish. In addition, there were too many onions, the eggs were suppose to be over easy but were over medium & the cheese was forgotten. The Ground Beef Quesadilla appetizer had lots of beef but they also were too spicy to finish. Even tho these dishes were too hot for my palette I would return. If you have read any of my other reviews, most that involve breakfast restaurants, I am very fair but also very candid. The eggs (over easy) and bacon (slightly floppy) were just as I asked for which is rare. The coffee was good and you get your own little personal urn instead of asking for refills; I like that. The biscuit and country potatoes were stone cold. I put a little butter on my potatoes and it never even melted in the slightest. By the time my server got back to me to ask me how everything was, I complimented on the eggs/bacon and told her about the potatoes/biscuit. She offered to get me more but I had already eaten half. I think a nice gesture would have been to knock off at least 10% of the bill but nothing was offered. Easy to get to, ample parking, friendly greeting, very clean inside. However, do NOT cook potatoes ahead of time and let them sit there and serve them to your customers. Make them TO ORDER. This is a problem for most restaurants and yet, they do very little to correct the problem. read more

Overall a descent sandwich with crunchy breaded coating. We did order a side of gravy which never arrived. Check out was painful as we were directed to the front counter to check out because the bar self service check out was barely moving. The 3 young ladies at the front didn't acknowledge us and the line grew. One girl wiped menus while another ate and neither bothered to speak to anyone, say hello, someone will be right with you. Finally we got the attention of one who said "yeah sorry." cute name, mediocre service and ok food. I saw this brunch spot on tiktok a couple months ago, so when I decided to do my Yelp roulette and choose a food spot to eat and this popped up I decided to check it out. I have been spoiled with the brunches of brunches in Atlanta and New Orleans and I knew not to have too high of hopes just judging off of the menu, but I still expected my food to taste good. To start my server Destiny was very sweet and attentive. I started off with the XO Martini which was their version of the espresso martini. It honestly tasted like something thrown together just to say they had it on the menu. The vodka used was not the right one for the drink, and the Irish cream liqueur did not do the drink justice. I unfortunately had to return the drink because I couldn't push through drinking it. The cinnamon roll was very tasty, however you could tell they had warmed it up a bit too much because it was a bit crispy in places but not unpleasingly so, just noticeable. My burrito was good. I wish it had came out more hot and fresh, the things I really adored about it, is they actually packed a great amount of meat in there unlike a lot of breakfast spots that usually cheat you on the meat. It also had some spice to it which was nice. Overall I can say I came here but I don't have to do it again. read more
