First time visiting Bryan's Dumpling House, and it was hands down some of the best food I've had in a long time! Three of us ate for about $88, and we all left happy, satisfied, and completely full. The dumplings were excellent, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. It's not often you find a place that delivers great food, great value, and great service all in one experience. We'll definitely be back. This was a DoorDash delivery, but I felt I had to share this on Yelp as a warning since the DoorDash reviews aren't representative. Shrimp Shumai: this was the first item I took out of the bag and disappointment was the first feeling I felt. I should've trusted my gut when I saw the name of the dish but the photo didn't match. I based it off the photo and what was delivered was not what was in the photo. Instead, I got these small, nickel sized diameter "dumplings" that are straight up mushy. Xiao long bao: maybe it was delivery issue, but all dumplings were broken, and the soup leaked. Aside from this, the wrapping is thick especially at the top where the twist is. The filling is also mushy but better than the shrimp Shumai. I still wouldn't get this again. Chili wontons: again, maybe a delivery issue but there wasn't a lot of chili oil since it leaked out of the bag. Aside from that, the wrapper was thick. Filling was meh. It's a mixed review. I went to this location and got takeout from their Westminster location. The buns are seasoned just right, maybe needs to be cooked a little differently to get a crispy bottom. I haven't tried an item from every category; just appetizer, XLB, jiao zi, and wok. Both times, the wok dishes are overly salted, making it unappetizing. I've been here a few times to try different dishes and in the world of XLB...this place has one of the best XLB is colorado. Skin of the dumpling is thin, but thick enough to not break when picking them up. The soup and meat are both tasty as well and when mixed with the dipping sauce...superb. I tired the pan fried soup dumpling for the first time and they are tasty as well. Nice crisp at the bottom with the good soup. Overall...if you just need some solid XLB for a meal. Go here! Five out Five for days. Let me start off by saying they have the best cakes in Denver! I won't tell you what they are but ask for the matcha or tiramisu and you will be left wondering how something could taste so good. We really enjoyed grabbing lunch here. Cucumber salad didn't look like the picture, we wish there was more sauce with them, but mostly good. We each got the Bryan's dumpling which is 8 pieces and you can try each one. They were good (our faves were the original, garlic, and kimchi). My true only complaint is that outside of the mix of all of them they only sell the dumplings in orders of 10. That's a lot and if you wanted to try just a couple flavors you have to order way too much. I didn't want to have to taste a few of the options in the Bryan's dumplings but I went with that anyway because I could get more than one flavor without having to order 20. read more

The menu is overwhelming in a good way! I wanted to try so much. But I had help navigating from my super nice and attentive waiter. The atmosphere is cozy and open. Easy to have conversations, although when I went it wasn't very busy. The food came out so quick and it all tasted so good. I was tempted to order more but limited myself. Bryan's Dumpling House is a solid dumpling spot that will cure any dumpling cravings. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday around 1pm for lunch and there was ample seating. We ordered the Original XLB, Scallops & Shrimp Dumpling, Noodle with Scallion Oil, and the Cucumber Salad. I saw a review that said the dumplings and scallion noodles were bland but this was not the case. I had not tried scallion oil noodles before but these were flavorful and it was a good serving size for 2 people. The dumplings were piping hot when brought to the table but perfect to eat after a few minutes of cooling. Most of the dumplings did collapse before eating but they were still tasty. I made a dipping sauce of the vinegar, soy, and chili oil and they were a great addition to the dumplings. the scallop and shrimp dumplings were very shrimpy and I would not suggest them if you do not like shrimp (I love shrimp so I did not find this to be an issue). The cucumber salad was as expected - cool and crunchy. I only wish that there were soup noodle options here but overall, this was a great dumpling spot for lunch and we will come back. read more

My friends think I am crazy with how often and enthusiastically I visit this restaurant. But the truth is....the dumplings are by far my favorite in all of Denver! I WILL SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS! Went here on a weekend. Restaurant feels quaint and cozy, definitely fit the bill for a dumpling restaurant. It's also an open kitchen and you can watch the chefs preparing the food. Food was wonderful; flavors were nicely balanced. A lot of the time I've had dumplings at other restaurants they are either over or under seasoned; these were not. Also everything was cooked really well and the textures were spot on. My favorite were the pork and cabbage dumplings. Our servers too were on point and were extremely attentive. One of my absolute favorite date night spots with the kids. The littles love this place and the food is divine! Our faves: + cucumbers- crunchy with this amazing brown sauce. This place has been on my radar to try for over a year. Finally got around to visiting recently. So I love dim sum. It's one of my favorite things to eat out and it's always fun to check out different spots. This restaurant is located in a Greenwood Village shopping center with a lot of other restaurants. Everything is made after ordering (no carts like a traditional dim sum place). We tried a number of dishes including pork buns, pork and shrimp shumai, xiao long bao (various flavors) and wood ear mushroom salad. I would say food was a 4/5. I was most surprised by how tasty the wood ear mushroom salad was. I've never had anything quite like it before it but was shockingly delicious. If you like chewy, gummy and rubbery textures, it will appeal. I loved both the garlic and spinach xiao long bao. Wasn't a fan of the shrimp shumai. It tasted too fishy so the shrimp wasn't very fresh. The pork shumai was very good. The pork buns were ok. I've had much better ones. Now where I have to give them major credit was cleanliness and service. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Floors and tables were very clean throughout. Our waitress was so kind and attentive. She went out of her way to make sure our kids had an amazing experience. This is the first place I've seen that had children's plates and utensils. I'd heard about Bryan's dumplings several times since moving to Denver but this was the first time I got to try it. Funnily, it was our out-of-town friend's suggestion after googling "How about this place?" and we decided definitely time to go. We came for an early NYE dinner. I didn't realize it was in a plaza I'd been to before, but that just means lots of parking which is always a plus. We were seated right away in a booth near the window. We all got water and shared a pot of the pu-ehr tea, which was good (never had it before - didn't taste too different than others, so I'd probably stick with a cheaper $5 vs this one that was $8). Service was pretty quick the entire meal. We started with the cucumber salad - good, not too spicy (would've actually liked a little more spice) but tasty. I just got the kung pao chicken for myself which was completely delicious - I could've eaten the whole thing, but decided to save half for another dinner tonight. My husband and friend shared mapo tofu (pretty good, with some szechuan peppercorns snuck in there so my tongue went numb for a few minutes), the original kurobuta pork bao, vegetable dumplings, and some shrimp shumai. I didn't try the bao, shumai, or dumplings but they said they were all very good (and again, definitely leftovers today). I thought our entire meal was delicious and good quality. I came here when it opened and had a good time. This time around everything seemed worse. The bathrooms are dirty and dingy. The bench seats are all covered in spilled sauces. Service was slow, they had 4 people total in the restaurant and it took 15 minutes to put an order in. decent dumplings for Denver area. We became so accustomed to eating some really amazing dumplings and hand pulled noodles in Houston. So when I searched for hand pulled noodles in this place came up. I was incredibly excited. Once we got there, however they were nowhere to be found in the menu. The dumplings themselves were good if a little bland. We really recommend the ones with garlic - unfortunately I can't remember the name. This place is very good. Way more expensive that Star Kitchen but closer to where I live. I recently found out that one of the owners was the owner of the now closed Mr Hao's (Northern Chinese). I loved that place, which makes me wish they would add some of the very distinctive dishes to the menu here. Specifically the spicy family noodle similar to Biang Biang. Omg it was so good and I miss it. Also would love if they would add the shredded cold potato. Both of those items were so addictive. I was sad to see Mr Hao's close due to the pandemic. But I'm happy the owner started another shop. Please add some of the old menu to the new. Those flavors were unique to any other Chinese places in Denver. read more

I have heard so many great things about Bryan's. Finally tried it today. The space has a cool vibe to it. The service was really great. I was so so disappointed that they use MSG which I can't have. I was able to order a stir fry without that- and it was great. But I watched my fellow diners devouring the dumplings, pot sticker and pork belly bao. All have MSG . I have been to other dumpling restaurants who do not use MSG and the food is delicious. I just don't understand why some people continue to think it's necessary. I probably would give this restaurant a five star if it weren't for that. If you don't have an allergy or a MSG problem then go for it. I've been meaning to try here as I LOVE dumplings. I came here after work one day with a co-worker. We were able to be seated right away. We got here are 6:15p on a Thursday. As the night went on, it began getting pretty crowded! We ordered the original pork xiao long bao (soup dumplings). We got BBQ pork buns, shrimp dumplings, and Bryan's fried rice. My co-worker has never had any of these. As we left - she mentioned how good it was! They had all the sauces you needed on the table. Soy sauce if you wanted to use it. Vinegar - which I used for my soup dumplings. And chili oil which I love pretty much with anything else. We also ordered a pot of Jasmine Green Tea to enjoy with our meal. Tan Tan noodle with szechuan style was not szechuan-ing but it was still good. Stir fried green beans & ground pork with garlic was flavorful but the pork was very salty. Shrimp shumai I would not recommend, as it was all mush and no flavor. Original kurobuta pork xiao long bao was the table favorite.
