I just got my hair done by Keira and I don't think it's socially acceptable to openly love it THIS much! I went in with thinning hair needing a change. I told her that I was pretty low maintenance and needed something that wouldn't require a lot of styling. She listened to what I needed and did exactly that! Stellar Luna is such an appropriate name for this salon; if I could, I would give Kiera ALL OF THE STARS on Yelp! I first found Kiera about 5 years ago when I was trying to pick a stylist to do my wedding hair cut/color. I had never gotten my hair colored before and I looked hard to find someone I could entrust with this tremendous task. After extensive research online, I found Kiera and I could not have made a better choice! Kiera did a phenomenal job - she crafted an absolutely perfect balayage and haircut that looked JUST like the reference photo I showed her. It was perfection. She is SO knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and knows how to make the color look naturally beautiful. I went back to her for my wedding hair and was equally stunned with the results (we added more highlights). I've been seeing Kiera since then and, not only does she always get the looks I want just right (even that one time I showed her Sleeping Beaty, the cartoon, for reference ), but she has the most AMAZING personality and is an all-around wonderful human. There is no one else I would rather do a 3-hour color treatment and haircut with. She is so fun to talk to and I always leave feeling refreshed in both hair style and spirit. Cut to a few years later - I was so excited when I found out Kiera had opened her own salon - and right at the onset of COVID no less! She has done such a great job with the place. Stellar Luna feels warm, welcoming, and has followed all COVID protocols for a safe-feeling visit every time. Not only that, but Kiera really takes the time to listen to what you want. She explains everything thoroughly, and works with you to make sure you achieve the style you're after. She is only satisfied if you are satisfied. If something is not exactly right, she works hard (and overtime!) to fix it. One time my toner went on a little too hard (after a break from hair coloring during COVID) and she immediately brought it to my attention and asked if I wanted it lightened more. She ended up doing a second round of balayage right then and there to make sure I got the exact lightness I wanted. Similarly, she goes above and beyond with hair cuts. I was unsure about the amount of texturizing I wanted on my latest bob and she insisted that she can either add texture at that same visit, or I could give it a week and if it's not right I could come back to add some texture. It ended up being perfect and she was right to hold off on texturizing, but I really appreciated the thought and care and the ability to text her if it wasn't quite right. She's also super receptive to questions I've texted her before a visit, including looking through a Pinterest board I created to see what I had in mind and advise ahead of time. I could go on forever, but in short, Kiera is AMAZING. You will not find a better colorist or a more caring and wonderful stylist! I love her to bits and would recommend her 1000 times over!
