THE GOOD ---------------- + LOTS of booth seating. + Decent selection of food (sushi, clams, mussels, steak, prime rib carving station, vegetables, pastas, fried rice, noodles, pastries, gelato, etc.) to choose from. + Nothing really jumped out, but the food quality was decent and nothing was absolutely terrible or horrific. + Kids under 3 eat for free! THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Definitely have seen larger buffets with a much larger variety. - Sushi seemed a bit suspect with the way it looked and there wasn't a whole lot of monitoring of customers just dumpling the tongs into the food pit. - Restrooms are only outside of the buffet. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = During prime dining times, there might seem like there is a bit of a wait, but it's mostly just employees waiting to seat incoming customers even though there seems to be PLENTY of space inside.

Coming here on a Monday for a brunch buffet which was really awesome because it's only $24.99 per person and I think that is a steal. . I really like their omelette station and I enjoyed making a egg white with vegetarian and it was really healthy and I do love how I didn't add any cheese. Some of the veggies that it contains is spinach mushrooms onions bell pepper and I did use egg white. The lady was very impressive making six omelets at a time and she was taking everyone's order correctly and everyone was patiently waiting. . I also enjoy the soup selection they had a mushroom of cream and they also had a chicken noodle soup and they were both delicious and comforting for a cold day. . They also have your breakfast items like smoked salmon and they have french toast and pancakes as well as your breakfast potatoes crispy bacon and sausage and eggs. . They also have a Carving Station where they have flank steak and even ham. . They also had a fruit bar with lots of fruits and they have fresh strawberries to watermelon and melons and bananas too. I also like how they have cereal too. They also got your grits Cream of Wheat and oatmeal too. . Overall this Buffet is one of my new favorite ones in Atlantic City and I can't wait to come back when I come visit. This hotel is very fancy and I do like the layout is very festive and it's already November 2025 and it's already decorated as Christmas. If you're looking for a brunch buffet on a Monday this spot is the one to go to for a 24.99. Thanks for reading and have a yelp-tastic day.

    - Decent variety, but food isn't as good as I remembered from years ago - Options include basic sushi rolls, mussel/clam (gritty) pots, BBQ ribs, carving station prime rib, fried chicken, pastas, and Asian-inspired fast food (lo mein, fried rice, spring rolls); vegetables and other sides were fine, but nothing stood out - Service was fast and efficient; plates were cleared promptly, and extra napkins/wet naps were provided as needed - Good for families with young children--kids UNDER 3 eat free, and kids from 3 up (not sure what's the cut off age) are 1/2 off - Huge dining area with plenty of seating; comfortable atmosphere; tables spaced well apart; surprisingly low noise for such a big space - No wait around 5:50pm on a Friday, but the line grew quickly after we were seated - No restrooms inside the buffet, so you'll need to exit and use the casino floor restrooms, then re-enter through the exit

I really appreciate the selection of food. The service was good and the coffee came out hot.

We came for brunch on a Friday at 10AM. It wasn't very crowded but became crowded as the morning went on. We were led to a booth and we immediately headed to the buffet. The food area was kept clean and there were many food choices. There was a fresh fruit area. They had shrimp cocktail. They had an omelette station where there was always a long line. There was a carving station for flank steak and glazed ham. There was the usual breakfast food like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, oatmeal, grits, cream of wheat, bagels (bagels had cream cheese, lox, capers, tomatoes that you can build yourself). There were also usual lunch food like baked salmon, pork chops, fried rice. They also had a dessert station that included gelato. For $25 it's not a bad deal for all that food. Is the quality the best? It's hit and miss for some of the food. The smoked salmon eggs benedict was dried out. They also had baked salmon was nice and moist. The flank steak was surprisingly good. The shrimp cocktail was bland. The gelato was good. A waitress is on hand to remove your plates and to get you drinks.

Not the most appetizing picture, but the Sunday brunch buffet was so good! Generous portions of prime rib, fantastic cocktail shrimp, chorizo hash, among so many other options. Pastries, salads, soups, nachos, sandwiches, ham, Chinese, anything you could want was on the buffet. Our server was ON TOP of her game. Made sure I had hot, fresh coffee all morning long. The only downfall was that we both had stomach surgery, but my husband's was very recent so he can only eat 4-8oz of food and they made him pay full price rather than the child price.

Came for dinner and wasn't impressed. The seating area was huge, waiters were friendly and attentive and removed used plates quickly. There wasn't any overcrowding and the food was always stocked which doesnt always happen at a buffet. The food selection honestly wasn't much and what they did have wasn't special. There were only three selections for sushi rolls and you can tell from the rice they werent made fresh and had been refrigerated for a while. One carving station for prime rib. The grilled steaks were so dry and tough. Even their bread was stale and felt like a rock. Our favorite item was the sweet potato casserole. Pretty much what you would expect from a casino buffet.

We've been known to periodically splurge on dinner. (Check out "Lazy Betty" or "Bacchanalia" if you're in Atlanta.) I resent paying inflated prices for food that's likely mediocre. But why stew over something you have no control over when choices are limited? Weighing our options, we decided upon the buffet at the Borgata. We read that the mussels are good, which swayed our decision. $90 for the two of us -- not worth it -- but okay. As the fellow on line ahead of us said, "you're bound to find something you like." And he's right. Mussels in spicy red sauce aren't bad. The steamed clams, not so much. I tried a little-of-this and a little-of-that. Nothing knocked my socks off. T was impressed with his prime rib. I tasted his chicken. How could it look so crisp, but taste mushy? Desserts are another story. Pretty good! They have a brownie tart that I topped with vanilla gelato. T's favorite was bread pudding. Four stars is generous, but not the worst meal I've had. What I DID like -- which had nothing to do with dinner -- is the non-smoking section in Borgata's casino. We quickly blew $20 and headed back to our hotel.

Borgata Buffet is located inside the Borgata Hotel & Resort between The Metropolitan and The Music Box. The buffet specializes in pasta, comfort foods, fresh seafood, Asian cuisines, carving stations, and desserts. Everything on the buffet is enjoyable, but I come here for the seafood. They have shrimp, steamed clams w/ drawn butter, mussels, salmon, and red snapper. They also have a daily fish and sushi selection. These items vary daily. The dinner buffet buffet costs $42.99. Ask the Community - Borgata Buffet

    Do they have oysters?

No. I have never seen oysters. They do have shrimp, steamed clams, and other fish

    How much for dinner buffet?

    $50

Food choice differences between lunch and dinner?

    Yes

Do you pay when you arrive or when you leave?

Carlos, payment is made at the entrance of the buffet.

What? Is the best time to go regardless of the price

The buffet is busy from open to close so you can go anytime and expect fresh food. If you want to beat the rush, earlier the better.

What seafood do they have during dinner buffet?

Shrimp (cocktail, grilled, fried), mussels, clams, fish (salmon, swordfish, mahi), and seafood paella. The clams are my favorite 🤤

    Do kids eat free?

No kids eat at a reduced price

Is the $35 price tag worth it for vegetarians?

    I would say no

Has anybody gone to their Sunday brunch lately? What kind of food they have there? Anything special?

Everything! Chinese, italian, sushi, American, soups, different seafood and meat cuts, fried, salads, all types of deserts and ice cream, pastries, etc. it's $35 a person for dinner or if u have a buffet voucher for two even better!

    Do they serve halal food?

No they don't. I can't even eat the New England Clam Chowder because it has pork in it.

What's the price for dinner and what kind of seafood is on it?

$35. Sign up for their MLife card and start earning points. The buffet is just one of the many perks you'll receive, plus you can use them in Vegas too!…

For some reason it says that the Borgata Buffet is closed today, but I wonder it's really closed today or it's just that they need to upgrade the timing?

During the Summer I believe it is open Tuesday and Wednesday. That's what I believe

    Do they serve crab legs?

NO. Have not seen them at Borgata. Harrahs had them in the past. Don't know if they still do.

Does anyone know if they serve crab legs on mondays?

Unfortunately, they don’t have crab legs any day at Borgata. That’s the only bad thing about their buffet.

Do they have line passes at this buffet?

Pearl Statius and above player's cards have a separate line that usually moves quite a bit faster than people with the sapphire card or no players card at all.

Is there a line on tuesdays?

Everytime I've gone I have seen a line, not a long line but a line none the less

Are high chairs available? Also can you bring a stroller to the table?

They do have high chairs and yes, strollers can be put right next to the table

Our rideshare pulled up in front of the place, which was on the main thoroughfare of Atlantic Avenue, though I would not say that it seemed like the safest area. Thankfully, the place offered valet parking to those who needed it. As we entered the historical building, I had expected to see a similarly quaint interior, but it had clearly been renovated. It was more like a modern inn, balancing accent walls of exposed brick with contemporary light fixtures. The bar was completely packed with diners and imbibers, and there was an elegant pianist curating a live playlist for everyone. We were escorted to our table on the other side of main floor, where we were served by the fantastic, Taz, who was friendly, engaging, and helpful. Before we placed our orders, we were given large, sesame semolina rolls, which had a crisp crust and fluffy interior. Each table was also adorned with a giant bowl of homemade oyster crackers, which were a touch dry and benefitted from a small spoonful of chopped horseradish, which was displayed next to the crackers. I enjoyed these treats with a Mijente Tequila with Club Soda for a reasonable $12. From there, we progressed right to our entrees. I decided to go with the nightly special of Macadamia-Crusted Halibut, which was perfectly tender and had a hint of sweetness on its own. It was then topped with a chunky mango salsa and a creamy pineapple-mango sauce to kick that sweetness up a notch. However, that was also offset by its plating with more earthy sides of sauteed spinach and well-seasoned rice pilaf. The dish was fantastic and should really be on the menu all of the time. My companion went with the 12-ounce Filet Mignon, which was presented without that crust most of us enjoy, but the meat itself was like butter; it was tender, juicy, and clearly of excellent quality. The steak was a generous size to begin with, but it also came with Yukon gold mashed potatoes, a few onion rings, and some stalks of asparagus. It was a phenomenal deal for $52, and my partner could not stop raving about how great it all tasted. Lastly, we simply had to give their dessert options our consideration and went with the Bailey's Chocolate Mousse. While the texture was nice, and there was a thin layer of chocolate cake underneath the whipped mousse, it tasted more like standard milk chocolate than the Irish Cream liqueur. It was rather mild, but barely worth acknowledging it as a flaw after what was otherwise such a fabulous experience. Our dinner at Dock's Oyster House was so delicious, that we started planning our next meal there before we even paid the check! I would definitely recommend giving the place a shot.

We were first in line, in the rain under the awning and got seated right away at the bar, as soon as they opened the doors. Unfortunately I wasn't ready to order yet and the bartender got busy with other folks for a VERY LONG TIME before coming back to indecisive me. At least she explained she would get everyone's drinks made first, then come back for food orders. The place is insanely busy and it all happens at once, so I understand they have to have a system to manage everything. But she was quite abrupt and brusque. Settling on a classic old fashioned $15, while husband ordered a sters uinness draft $11. Drinks are not discounted but all the appetizers are heavily discounted. Then began the feast. Had to try a smoked fish dip, popcorn, mussels, a clam chowder and a crab corn chowder. We had the grilled oysters, ordered two Rockefeller and two champagne. Also some fried oysters with marinara and buffalo. Whatever came out first was eaten! $75 later, we were stuffed! Popcorn with sea salt, black pepper and Sriracha dust packed a punch but was good filler to soak up the Old Fashioned. Smoked fish dip was fairly ordinary and came with saltines, pitas and some sad looking celery and carrots. I brought my GF rice crakers to supplement. Oyster plate was a pretty display with all four types we ordered arranged nicely on one platter. Standard Rockefeller preparation, two with champagne and leeks (bland), two fried buffalo and two fried marinara. All tasty bites! Hubby loved the mussels in red sauce which he ordered spicy. Great for dunking the bread into! The crab and corn soup didn't come out till time for dessert, we really shouldn't have been charged for it. Our bartender didn't even know it was missing. Creamy and sweet, I did enjoy it though. The Maine clam chowder was a beautiful thing to see, with five open whole clams on top of a thick creamy soup. The lady next to me ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, and I had to take it's picture too. Stuffed into a lobster shell, very unique! The bar was bustling and we didn't stay for a second drink. No leftovers but good memories!

The outdoor space included a small bar with stools, loads of picnic tables, a few couches, a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack and rocking chairs, and even a cornhole set. We grabbed some cozy chairs around the unlit fire pit and started to review the menu. We were not hungry, so we skipped the cuisine, but the catering food available to the event attendees looked and smelled delicious. While the place was known for their massive beer selection, we decided to indulge in a pitcher of Perfect Tenn Margaritas. The pitcher was a phenomenal deal at $45, when it was already $15 for a glass. Plus, we were able to get over 6 glasses from it. The outdoor bar was rows deep, so one of the staff members recommended that I order from the indoor bar instead, since it was not at all crowded. The bartender was a complete sweetheart and coordinated with another nice employee to help me carry the pitcher and cups outside to avoid any spills. The margarita had sounded great with its composition of Patron Silver Tequila, Patrón Citrónge Orange, and Triple Sec. However, while I had noticed those intricate details, I somehow glossed over the fact that the drink was premade and available on tap. I would not normally mind this, but it did make me question if it was actually using those higher-end ingredients. The bartender also alternated pours of the tapped cocktail and a bottle of lime juice, which led to the drink being beyond acidic and sweet. I had about a glass and half and left the rest of the pitcher for my drinking partner. I adored the fun outdoor garden, welcoming staff, and diversified menu, but the margarita was just way too tart for my liking.
