Ok ok, i just had to take the time to write a review. Too often, too many times people only write negative reviews, but that's not the case this time. I had above and beyond service from Andrea! She was fantastic from the moment she greeted me, to when I finally got my food. I can't say I always get that service when I've come in the past, but I certainly did this time (hence why I'm writing this review on yelp.) We had a dinner there on 8/13. My wife had a turkey sandwich. It was piled high with turkey. The turkey itself was a little dry. I had the pastrami sandwich. The pastrami was tender, delicious. Great sandwich! I had the pasta salad, the vegetables were fresh, pasta was tender. read more

I always stay at the Borgata when I visit AC and this restaurant is located in the casino. It's open 24 hours and has three menus: - Breakfast - Lunch/Dinner - Late Night We were up late and needed some eats so we decided to order and bring the food back to our room. The hot late night food items are made to order and the salads and cold sandwiches are premade but made to perfection. We ordered a tuna melt, cobb salad and pickles. The tuna melt was stuffed with yummy well made tuna and melted American cheese on perfectly toasted and buttery white bread! I added some of the pickles we ordered to the sandwich because pickles are delicious and it made the sandwich even yummier. The Cobb salad was soooo fresh and packed with a nice amount of each ingredient for the perfect bite every time. The cashier was super friendly and ensured we had all we needed since we were doing takeout and the cook who made the sandwich truly took pride in making it because it was so nearly wrapped and stacked! The line moved fairly quickly and food came out fast. The food gave continental breakfast vibes but obviously you have to pay for it, and as others have mentioned it's not cheap. The bagel is DIY. You get to go Philadelphia cream cheese to spread yourself and unfortunately my toasted bagel was somehow cold. Bread and butter is conveniently located and probably a good stop for on the go. It appears their late night menu might be worth a stop but I'd skip a breakfast visit. read more

I don't even know where to start. We wanted a late lunch. Decided to come here. Ordered a tuna melt and the Nashville chicken sandwhich. Tuna tasted like it didn't even have any seasoning but some mayo and it was broken up. It was still in chunks. Then the chicken was so hard you have to use muscle to cut the sandwhich in half. And to top it off , the cashier: Dymond has a nasty attitude. No sense of customer service. Her entire demeanor was as if I was burdening her by ordering. Even when I asked for the menu, I got a sigh and she put it on the table. When im ordering waiting for her to let me know when she's ready for the next, she just looked at me like she's in a rush as she standing there tapping her hand. Then had the audacity to say select a tip. It's people like that , management needs to reconsider because when dining anywhere because it starts with the initial service. That sets the tone. This place has a cafe vibe and is cool because it is 24-7. I was hungry later in the evening and stopped by for a bite. The ordering was efficient and the food was prepared fairly quickly. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and it was good; it really hit the spot for a late night snack! This is one of the better places at Borgata. read more

The online order I placed was never served. I placed the order around 6:12 am, May 5, Friday. Went down from my room, around 6:47 am confident that food will be ready I went to the far left side (facing the cashier counter) where online pick up orders are served. I said good morning to greet the usual cashier (if u frequent the place you know who I am referring to as she is the usual cashier). I said I come to pick and tells me I have to wait, and order is not ready. Sensing something was wrong, i went to her at the cashier and she said again i need to wait She never asked me what my order is, and I said my order was placed 45 MINUTES AGO. Realizing that shew was mistaken to tell me to wait she finally woke up! Asked me what my order was?!?!?!? I said have this order, showing my phone, with order confirmation, message thanking for the order placed. Obviously they sis not process my order, and I am no longer willing to wait another 20 minutes probably if they were to serve my confirmed order. So i demanded a refund So comes the Manager, Alicia P, and said I can't get a refund because maybe the order dis not go through. Isais it sis, bec I have my confirmation order. I had such an interesting experience here last night. Me and my friend were starving around 2:30 AM & decided to go down to this place since it was open 24/7. Once we got there, the regular line was so long & moving slow - but there was a sign to mobile order which we ended up doing! We ordered a bacon egg & cheese, ham egg & cheese, latte & some water bottles! The place was very unorganized all together & the workers looked stressed / running around! We waited about 45 minutes for our food & a lot of customers were getting antsy! Thankfully we did not want to cause any more stress & understood the chaos; however did not enjoy being told there was no water left after we got our order! We waited some time for the charge to get voided & ended up carrying our food to our room to eat! The food itself was pretty good; however the trouble we went through to get the food was the reasoning behind 3 stars! Bread & Butter has become our go-to breakfast stop whenever we're staying at the Borgata. Don't get me wrong, we love the buffet as well, but when we're in a hurry and want something quick, this is the spot. My favorite here is the oatmeal. For $5, you get a huge soup container of it! I like that it comes in this container, because you can always save what you don't finish for later. The oatmeal also comes with two little side containers of nuts and raisins. My husband and I also highly recommend the chocolate croissants and the lucky cookies. The lucky cookies are $3 and they're a nice size where you can share them. They're full of chocolate chunks and coconut bits and perfected with a nice vanilla glaze. There are seats here if you do want to sit down and enjoy your breakfast or you can have it taken to go. It does get a little crowded depending what time you come in the morning. read more

One of Borgata's few 24 hr food options, Bread and Butter is a viable option when you want something simple. It's not cheap. It's not fast. I spent 22 dollars on an sausage egg cheese sandwich, and a chicken salad sandwich, and waited 20 min for them. But that's how it is currently. Lines can get very long, so expect to wait if so. I've stayed at Borgata 6 times within the last 12 months. Today, my family, friends and I went to get breakfast here and were waiting in line for 10 minutes. When it came time for my father to order he ordered waffles and was told that it was now 11am and he had to order from the lunch menu. We were stunned, we told them we got here and were waiting for 10 minutes and they should honor our breakfast requests. They told us well they could serve us whatever breakfast was left over. Meanwhile everything next to the grill was still breakfast stuff. I was very disappointed, I wanted my friend who was visiting from Michigan to try pork roll and he couldn't. We walked away pissed off. We complained to the front desk to no avail. Now I know how Michael Douglas felt from the movie falling down. read more

Horrendous service: Flor our cashier 014678 was either having a bad day or she does this regularly or she hates her job, probably all 3. She looked at us while we were ordering as if we were inconveniencing her. We ordered a large americano with 2 shots and a cup of water.... literally stared at us for a min while we waited for her to confirm she heard us. Then suddenly she said "what else do you want? What are you waiting for." We were taken aback by the abruptness. We just showered her with kindness and moved on, but then.... the americano came out and it was just regular coffee, she filled it up within 2 mins, no way she had time to prepare it properly. They have changed the menu... now most everything is premade... nothing like a sandwich or salad that's been sitting in a refrigerator all day! If we wanted premade food we'd go downstairs, where everything is prepackaged. We ordered blueberry muffins to go-NOT ONE BLUBERRY IN EITHER ONE! Sad. We so enjoyed the food here when it was made fresh and you could count on getting what you ordered. The staff continues to be wonderful, feel so bad they have to serve bad food. For sandwiches this is the place to come to. As you walk in, it feels like a cafeteria. Get online, place your order, and a staff member will come with your sandwiches. We ordered an egg salad sandwich and hot roast beef sandwich. Woofed down 1/2 of the roast beef sandwich and 1/2 of the egg salad sandwich. You can order sandwiches all day long. Well worth the money for they do not skimp on portion size. Staff very efficient with keeping tables clean. There were many people coming in and leaving. we were looking for somewhere to eat late at night after a concert and saw this place had breakfast food so we went - they have different menus for different times of day. they still had breakfast foods, just very non inclusive options. my fiancée doesn't eat pork-they only have turkey based products in the morning. i'm a vegetarian - you can only eat an over priced grilled cheese. i can't comment on the food cause we obviously didn't order anything since there was nothing for us but it felt like a fake boujee middle school cafeteria and these lunch ladies were not calling you baby. bad experience, only reason it's not 1 star is because i didn't get to try the food and i want to be fair. read more

I love the tuna melt here but the wait is ridiculous. The line was breakfast to lunch time is minimum 30 minutes wait. ... never fails. MGM needs to improve the operation here. With Covid only a few things are open inside the resort and this was one of the only few late night places we could find to dine. That was a long line of people waiting to order as they weren't many restaurants open and therefore it took a very long time to place an order.People are really fast and preparing the food as everything was going on grills. The prices were reasonable on some stuff. They have a lot of bakery goods as well which was good. Do you have a meatball sandwich which was very salty could've been better. The other sandwich was pretty good. This place I think it's open 24 hours so that allows people in the casino to grab bites around the clock. It has a very casual luck with busy diners. Gave this place 4 stars for 2 reasons: my egg sandwich was the most bland I've ever had & secondly, they're over priced - like every other restaurant at the Borgata. I do like that they offer Red Hot packets as a condiment option. My sister raves about their grilled cheese which she had around 5am & a friend had a cheese danish. This place hit the spot on Sunday morning after my husband I checked out of the Borgata. We ended up at bread and butter probably around 11:30 am. That's good because by then the whole menu is available. At bread and butter you order your food at the counter and then find a table. First come first serve with the seating arrangement. Might be tough for a larger crowd. My husband got in line to order the food while I got us a seat. I order the hand pulled chicken salad sandwich on raisin walnut bread. Definitely a winner in my book especially with that bread. We also ordered a cinnamon bun to share. You can skip that; dry and not worth the calories. And the have plenty of other sweet choices to choose from if you're in the mood. read more
