This place is hidden down an escalator from the main hotel/casino floor so you have to look for the sign and there's plenty of seating. My cheesesteak was massive, loaded with thinly sliced beef, melted cheese, and grilled onions. The bread was soft but sturdy enough to handle everything without falling apart. Terrible service at the Asian fusion place. Cashier is rude. ordered wonton noodles. The lady that was working the line made eye contact with me after she put a bowl noodles down. I took it, assuming they made a mistake when I requested to go instead of dine in. Later the cashier came to me as I was about to try the food, and told me I should check before I take something and asked why did I take it. I was like and I told her the person taking order made eye contact with me. I was baffled that she was blaming the customer instead of taking responsibility. It's your job to check that customers are getting the right food. She kept blaming and arguing with me for a good 5 minutes. Eventually she walked away after ruining our dinner. How is it my fault that they don't have a proper system? They placed all the food on top of the counter, without calling names or order number. I've worked in the restaurants industry before, it's the restaurant's responsibility to ensure the customer gets the right order. It wasn't even too busy even. After that encounter with her, I lost my appetite. Would not go back again. I'd rather get Panda Express instead. read more

Hit traffic on the GSP which had us arrive Borgata at 730, about 2.5 hours later than expected, so many restaurants had closed for the day. Great option for eating while at the Borgata! To get here, take the escalator down...the bet MGM sports lounge is across from the escalator. You can get something small like a pastry, a smoothie, or an ice cream....or a full italian, asian, etc meal! I chose the $13.99 pasta meal from the Pizza/Pasta place. Add $2 for my cheese ravioli choice for the pasta. Really good meal! Ambience is that of a food court. Plenty of tables to sit at to eat your food. Pretty nice food court in Boragata. There is a variety of options to pick from, from ice cream to Asian food, pizza to cheesesteaks. Great place to stop by if you want a late-night snack, some of the shops open late. I tried a Margherita pizza from the Pizata, one of the food options they had, which was okay. Thin pizza crust, the tomato sauce was good and the mozzarella was good, just the cherry tomato was interesting. I would have liked to try their pasta if that was an option when I got it. I also tried a Philly Cheesesteak and well it tasted more like a French dip/Italian beef than a cheesesteak. The meat didn't have much flavor and was dry. Wanted something quick to eat while watching some football. Took a trip downstairs near the poker room and the race book, and decided on the cheesesteak place, where it used to be called Tony Luke's in the past. After eating half the cheesesteak and some fries, I remembered to take the picture. So picture a cheesesteak twice this size. It's a good size, and will satisfy most hungers. Fries with a side of cheese was warm and fresh. It's not cheap by any means, but you are in a casino, and there are worse values in the building. The meat was a little bland and a little dry. Also didn't like the nickel and diming cost of lettuce (+.15), tomato (+.60), and pickles (+.35). Just seems petty if you're going to list the price of a cheesesteak hoagie at 15.00 and you get charged slightly more. All told, a solid 3 stars. Came here for breakfast and had a omelette from CASA in the eatery. Upon getting down the escalator from Borgata. You can feel the excellent ventilation as well as the good AC. Nice and cool. There's no one really to greet you until you get to the shop of your choice. When I got to CASA I was greeted and treated with very good customer service. The prices aren't that bad for food inside of a casino. They're good on portion sizes judging by the other customer's orders I seen pass by. All the food they had looked fresh and had steam floating above it. After ordering they gave me a table placard and I sat down. The waitress brings your food directly to you. Very friendly employees & excellent customer service. Also highly professional. Plus FREE water cups which is another plus. I ordered a Meat-Lover's omelette and it came to the table in under five minutes which was another plus. The omelette was very fresh tasting, hot and full of meat. Also the potatoes were fresh & hot as well as the toasted bread too. The overall place as well as the tables were very clean. The table I was at even had a spotless mirror finish. "SEE PICS" Upon finishing my food. The waitress was very attentive and serviced the table quickly and said thanks have a good day. They have dedicated cleaning people and security around even early in the morning which is always good. Talk about a poorly run establishment. The Asian fusion place has half the items empty being cooked and barely no one on line and the coco cola machine is pure out of Diet Coke. Imagine how much these places could make if they were managed properly. Shame on them for their lack of customer service or ability to deliver quality service. This is all too common a theme. This review is for the Wine Bar. My family and I wanted to have a nice dinner on the last night of our stay and didn't want to go through the trouble of leaving the hotel. We've stayed here plenty of times and never thought to try the Wine Bar in the marketplace downstairs. We didn't know that reservations were needed for our party of 5 but they kindly sat us anyways. We ordered ziti bolognese, spaghetti and meatballs, caesar salad with shrimp, and gnocchi. Our food took a little longer than expected but we were surprised with a complementary charcuterie board of prosciutto, roasted peppers, and cheese. Once we got our dishes though, I thought they were just alright and nothing spectacular. My family thought the same. Food was 3/5 but service was 5/5. We thought the complementary prosciutto and roasted peppers was kind enough, but they also took off one of our wine glasses on the bill as well! read more

I'm just so happy he was aware of how he was chewing to notice it before swallowing. I told the server guy there and he apologized. However, they didn't even stop serving the pasta out of which we receive ours from. Some other places at the eatery aren't bad so I gave it two stars. It's a good alternative to the various sit-down restaurants up in the casino, but I wouldn't say it's a cheap alternative. I had a quesadilla and soda and it was $16. That's pretty comparable to somewhere like Moe's or Chipotle, but I wouldn't say those are cheap either. read more

Reviewing for the wine bar! Solidly a 4. A bit weird that it's in the food court but they did a good job of separating it. I went with my mom for happy hour on a Wednesday night. HH goes until 6 pm. Wines are about 6.50 and beers are 5 I believe. No cocktails on the menu that I could see. The tapas were the real star though. The caprese salad was A+ - definitely order that. We also got the dip platter which was very good. And the eggplant bruschetta which was decent (I maybe wouldn't order that again, too much bread and not enough eggplant :p) All in all, great place and really reasonable for dinner. read more

Pretty good food court options I haven't had a bad meal here yet. Had a delicious burrito, yummy chili cheese fries, very fresh breaded chicken sandwich, double cheeseburger, lo mein w/ bourbon chicken & Ben & Jerry's ice cream cup to name a few. I never know how long the wait will be for some of the restaurants depending on the time as well as after hours the burger restaurant is the only place open. Pizata is my favorite place to get pasta when I'm in town visiting the Borgata. They have a variety of pastas, and sauces to choose from. The pasta is freshly done, made to order while you wait. Not really something that I expected to find at a food court, but I tried it once, and I just can't get enough. They also sell pizza. Misha is the best, he makes my pasta just the way I like it, perfect every time. I like to add extra veggies to my pasta, and I don't like sauce, and he makes it happen. I think I might be the only one that orders my pasta that way, but Misha always does it with a smile, and with no problems. Thanks Misha, so yummy. read more

Due to limited restaurant choices during ongoing Covid restrictions, my husband and I discovered a hidden gem THE WINE BAR located down the escalator in the Marketplace eatery. The Wine Bar's menu is not extensive, but what they do offer is very high-quality and delicious! From their on-tap organic wine selection, to the appetizers and sandwich (panini) selection... all wonderfully flavorful with creative garnishes. We lunched there two days in a row, having different dishes with the same satisfying result. We look forward to visiting The Wine Bar on our next visit to The Borgata. The Borgata completely renovated their food court, and called it The Marketplace Eatery. The only chain left is Ben & Jerry's ice cream. All of the other eateries have generic names now, like chopntoss salad, burgers-shakes-fries, casa taco express, Philly steaks and subs, pizza-pizata-pasta, and Asian fusion n sushi. The also have what looks to be a deli and cheese shop, and a general store for everyday drinks n snacks. It's nice to know you can get some good grub at 1am. The only thing closed when I was down there was the deli area, and Ben & Jerry's. No big deal, you can still get a good shake at the burger spot if craving ice cream. I opted for the Texas Burger n seasoned fries. Very good. Noticed they had gravy fries AFTER I had already ordered. O well, next time. Overall, I really like the new look/layout and the options. Hopefully they keep the late hours, and it's not just a summer time deal. Will update review if I find out. Oh, almost forgot, you won't be bombarded with cancer downstairs eating your food, like you are upstairs. Bonus. Why Borgata and other casinos still allow smoking next to places people eat amazes me. This place went down hill! Posted are BEFORE pics...I miss Chef Drew! Used to be our favorite stop for a meat and/or cheese platter...they were masterpieces! You could tell there was a lot of love put into the placement of the cheeses and the shapes and pairings of the accoutrements...now, it looks like it took them less than 5 minutes to throw it together...not to mention they are out of their most popular cheese on a Saturday. This is located in the Borgata Casino. It has a collection of little eateries. I have only had the Chinese place and the cheese steak place. Chinese place is awesome and you get a lot of food. Why I'm here is to write a review about the cheese steak place (I believe called Philly Steak). I was there yesterday (3/21) right before they closed. I felt bad coming at such a late time. The Cashier, Jareidis (from the receipt), was totally awesome. His overreaching kindness was such a surprise. I wasn't particularly friendly or unfriendly, I was just a customer ordering food and he went above and beyond his duty to be kind. Food was great too and prepared super quick! Also, be careful of the free samples from the Chinese place, they will hook you in because they're so yummy (I have fallen victim twice). read more

I stumbled upon it while looking for a happy hour to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. I sat down at the bar and was greeted immediately. They have a very impressive menu and the food looked amazing. Their Italian chef sent out cheese to go with my wine and also a sample of their lasagna bolognese. All the pastas are homemade and their cheese and cured meat selection is expansive. I love the little "store" in the front and the whole set up of the place. I just wish it wasn't in a food court. The servers and chef were all extremely friendly. I highly recommend this for happy hour or even a casual but high quality dinner. read more

But I did get a pizza and I bought that that was a little better for the $12. Also had chicken tenders and fries, I think that was the best. But who doesn't love fried comfort food. My wife also had a salad from the salad place with soup and an iced tea. That might have been the best deal at $20. And it was enough food to share between two people. We go to the Water Club every year for my birthday. Arrived early and went to The Wine Bar. All I can say is if they had a shower and soft towels, I could live here. Great charcuterie, olives, wine and cheese. We had the pleasure of meeting Lucas and Domingo. They went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. We made sure to go back again before heading home. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because we didn't have a full dinner. I will update this once we have. I'm sure it will be 5 stars.
