Now, we did not go to NY to get Pizza. We had it delivered flash frozen from this great website called, Goldbelly. Look them up, they have the best food and all delivered to your door, flash frozen and great. I have seen photos of Borrelli's and it is cute and looks so comfortable. I think they might even have a counter. As to the pizza, we ordered 4 to be delivered to LA. You have to order 4 and it is pricy, but spend a little more and free shipping you will get. Our pizzas came when promised, all still packed in ice and all sealed when fresh. You just heat them up, follow the directions exactly. This is the best NY pizza we have ever had and we have been to NY, but we did not know about this place. The crust is perfect, thin with such flavor. The sauce and cheese combination they use is the best. We are in heaven and have ordered more. They can stay in the frig up to 3 days and in the freezer no longer than 3 months. I wish I had some now. So perfect.

    They called this veal francese.

I came here hungry and left nostalgic for prison food. The marinara was mystery--like someone melted down ketchup and whispered "Napoli" over it for authenticity. My pasta arrived glued together in a large tragic brick, absolutely no signs of any spices whatsoever so ever, which is honestly impressive from a technical standpoint. The veal francese had the texture of a damp uncooked sponge, The gelatinous blob pulled like rubber and the breading slid off in one sheet, like it was trying to escape accountability. Service was slow in the way that makes you wonder if the waiter is also the chef, the dishwasher, and possibly the owner's emotional-support animal. If you're looking for "old-world charm," this place has it--specifically the part of the old world where food safety laws didn't exist.

WoW! I cant believe I havent written a review for Borrellis yet!!! This place is awesome!!!! The food is outrageously delicious!! The service is always top notch. Its a welcoming restaurant that we have visited many times. We have also has private parties here. The food is so good. Today i ate eggplant parm and i upgraded the sauce on my side of pasta to meat sauce. Their meat sauce is AWESOME!!! The eggplant was cooled perfectly and smothered with gooey cheese. The garlic bread might seem like its ordinary but it is not. It is made somehow that it tastes better than any other garlic bread ivve ever had! Highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND BORRELLIS!!!

This is a true "East Meadow Staple" - Walking into this place, feels like you took a step back in time. Your back in the late 1980's - early 1990's - that's how you feel. Very home town feel. Service is always on point. You won't get any attitude from the wait staff. I can't explain it, but - Borrelli's Pizza is consistantly delicious and crisy. I've never ventured over to the Bar Area, but - its typically filled with East Meadow Townies. Great Vibe - Borrelli's has continued to evolve with the changing community. They will continue to live on!

OK, so the food here is not five star food, but I'm giving the place Five stars anyway because it's just awesome! Oooold school classic long island Long Island italian restaurant with SOLID restaurant style pizza (which is a great change from all the traditional thin. Crust New York style pizza. That's everywhere on Long Island.) and italian food. And to be honest that's about all there is to say about this place lol Recommend; chefs special salad, pizza (get toppings cause the crust holds up firmly against it), spicy marina sauce.

Fried Calamari came with rings only... would not recommend. Homemade Meatball were excellent

Ordered take out multiple times: Ambiance is nice! Very relaxed and laid back. Sicilian regular pizza is great!! Basically a regular pie with a deep dish crust! 5 out of 5 stars Meatballs: excellent! 5 out of 5 Wedding soup: great flavor with small mini meatballs!! My favorite! 5 out of 5 Regular pie: okay, but nothing too great 4 out of 5 stars Calamari: would never order again, very fishy smell and only rings. Tried one and couldn't eat the rest. 2 out of 5 Pasta fagoli soup: pretty good, basically lentils, pasta and carrots in a thick chicken based broth. I was surprised it didn't have any tomato sauce in it. 4 out of 5 stars Garlic bread with mozzarella: very tasty! 4.5 out of 5

The pizza is delicious! I ordered a personal size with sausage and a cannoli to go. My friend got a cheese pizza and a cannoli to go as well. We both enjoyed our food. Service was slow but it was a late lunch (2pm) on a Tuesday so not sure if that was a regular dining experience. Inside was a classic Italian restaurant feel with tables and booth seating. Price-point is $48.23 for two personal pies and two cannoli's.

Took my pup for a stroll in East Meadow and stopped into Borrelli's, a neighborhood classic since 1955. Ordered the baked clams and stuffed mushrooms to go. The piping hot fresh bread ruined my plan to eat light today. Too good to resist though. Delicious.

First and foremost I've been reading the reviews and what is so consistent are the complaints about…read morethe portions and prices which is what I'm going to address exactly. First of all, I come in with a clipp coupon which is an incredible thing I highly suggest for everybody to look into the deals are incredible and the whole idea is to bring in brand-new customers which is what I was, this was my first time there a couple of weeks ago. I was really excited to try out this place, but yes, as many of the reviews say it's just a Pizzeria with some tables thrown inside. So it's not a fine dining restaurant by any chance but boy I can tell you from looking at the size of the menu and the outrageous prices you would have thought it was a five star restaurant!!! Seriously, many of the appetisers are in the $30 range, which is ridiculous- So when I walked in to pay the server who I assume is a waitress, maybe more, was named Maria and I see that she's been mentioned many times in the reviews so she's probably a regular there--- she seemed visibly disappointed and annoyed when I told her I have a clipp Certificate, to let people know who are not familiar. It's extremely similar to Groupon but much much better and much cheaper -- again the idea is to bring a new people although you can use it every time you go there which I have been told by people in the advertising business that the business owners actually hate this sort of thing because they actually lose money they're just taking a chance on bringing a new customers and introducing them to the business which could be beneficial in a long run So that was a turn off. Then I was told that I most likely wouldn't be able to use it because it's for Dine in only , however the one good thing is that somebody who apparently was the owner came over and told her basically to knock it off and stop worrying about that stuff and he said not a problem this time so I can say he was extremely nice and pleasant to speak with And that was nice of him to do that for me that one time if I do go back there at least I know moving forward that it's for dine in only and not takeaway- But the primary complaint here is I couldn't believe that my Dish was $37 and I was excited to try it out only to open it and find SEVEN Shrimp !!!! I mean they gotta be kidding me!! this dish is the shrimp or Renata of course you can see the thing that cost nothing which is pasta was packed to the brim.... Extremely disappointing, I was also purveying the pizzas and asking the prices and the prices were also a little bit ridiculous for a slice ... stuff look pretty good and the food tasted good but you gotta be kidding me for almost $40. I only got seven shrimp????? This is just another one of those restaurants that get over on the people... sad .

It was a snap to get here from the Meadowbrook Parkway and they have a very convenient parking lot right on the side of the building. We came into a very comfortable venue, took our seats and was joined by our waiter immediately after sitting down. Loved the fact that there was really nice music in the background. I am so tired of hearing loud techno while trying to enjoy my meal. We started with some delicious toasted bread (I should have known better) and ordered shortly thereafter, (We had already reviewed menu at home.) Our dinner consisted of: Appetizers: - Mussels in a garlic / white wine sauce - Mozzarella caprese Main Entreès - Shrimp Scampi with linguine - Chicken Cutlet Parm with linguine - Chocolate Cake - Italian Cheesecake Everything was wonderful. My wife loved the caprese while I thought the mussels were amongst the best I ever had. (Best were in Bruges, Belgium) The Chicken Parm was thin, crispy on the outside with tender meat and the Shrimp was fresh and tasty. All this was followed by wonderful desserts with hot coffee. There were enough items on the menu to make me want to come back. On another note... I was a little surprised to see another Yelp review from a fellow Elite member which was not so favorable. Not sure how you can go from one extreme to the other but sorry to read that the experience was not as good as mine. KUDOs to the Team at Molto Bene.

We asked to be moved since it was cold and rainy and the door was being thrown open from guests/valet going in and out. Without any hesitation we were moved to a much much more comfortable area. Thank you! We were served by John, he was knowledgeable of the menu and had some great recommendations. We tried the Anthony's Mule drink which is made with a fig vodka. A nice change and very tasty! We were served warm bread and when our appetizer came, they brought more bread for dunking. John was right, we did need more it was sooooooo good in the Clams pot! The clams were a nice size, not tiny, not huge and chewy. Just right! They were served in a pink sauce which we scooped out of the bowl when we were done. It was just that good. I have literally never ordered a chicken parm at a restaurant, I've tried some before and just never really am a fan. But after John told us how good it was, I decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did. The Vodka Parm was soooo tasty! The chicken was breaded perfectly and I ordered it over cavatelli pasta that was cooked nice and al dente. My boyfriend ordered Veal Francese over linguine which he ate the whole thing and loved it as well. There are two bathrooms, I'd recommend going to the one up the steps. The one I have a photo of is fine but the door opens to the dining room so thankfully I remembered to lock it or that would have been awkward lol. It was so immaculately clean the only complaint I have is that the mirror is pretty high up! The restaurant was spotless, everyone was kind and every bite we had was delicious. They now have valet parking, but they don't take reservations, despite what's stated on the Internet. Prices have increased and the menu has changed since our visit last year. It's a loud, mostly "smart casual" dressed crowd, and I found myself leaning over the table to enable conversation. Last year, mid-week, it was quiet. Our waitress, Julia, was articulate and very sweet. I ordered the Chicken Sorrentino, which was breaded chicken cutlets with breaded eggplant cutlets in an oily tomato sauce with de minimus infused veggies and melted mozzarella cheese on top. It came with a side dish and I chose the linguine (instead of potato/veggies), but asked for whatever sauce would come with the entrée (instead of marinara, etc.). My dish was delicious, but I became saturated after eating half of it (possibly from the oil or because the portions are so generous), so I took the other half home for another dinner. I purposely didn't order an appetizer to save a little space for dessert and coffee. That said, for starters, they put out complimentary but crude bruschetta for the four of us and they partially sliced about a six or eight inch piece of plain Italian bread in a rattan basket with pats of butter wrapped in foil. I often try the tiramisu for dessert, when available in Italian restaurants. I enjoyed theirs, despite its variant albino appearance (see photo) and flavor. The relative absence of cocoa or espresso initially made me feel as if I had ordered scotch and got a Shirley Temple, but it was still well prepared and went well with coffee.
