Calabria pizza has a really good pasta deal on Mondays. That is unless you order the same dish. Today, we ordered 1 cavatelli in meat sauce and 2 orders of penna à la vodka. Upon opening the cavatelli in meat sauce, it was a full to the top serving. When we opened the penne à la vodka tins...they were one single layer of pasta equaling a half tin. When we combined both tins, they made one full tin. This is crazy. I know it's a good deal but splitting one dish into two portions is really disappointing from a place, I've ordered from for decades. Then the pasta was so overcooked, we could have used it as paste. I don't know what's wrong here but the last two times we ordered pasta night were just disappointing and greedy. My recommendation is if you want your full meal order different dishes. read more

I ordered a large pizza here and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. They only have 2 sizes (personal and large). Large pie was $25, took almost 30 minutes to prepare, and honestly wasn't worth it. Veggies tasted very bland. Base was too soft . Hopefully the quality improves in the future, as I'd love to have a better experience next time. read more

Placed a pickup order for half buffalo half pepperoni pie. 20 minutes pickup the man said. I get there after 20 minutes and it's not ready 10more minutes. Okay I'm going to get a nice hot pizza I thought. After getting that pizza walking to the car wondering why my box was cold. I get home to open the box only to see half buffalo half cheese. So I call them up to tell them they got the order wrong. They let me know they didn't make a mistake. But oh it's okay I didn't charge you for pepperoni. Guess the customer is not right at Calabria! Did the catering menu for a backyard party at my house, the food came hot and on time, utensils and serving spoons included. The gentlemen who delivered the food also set up everything very nicely. Cannot recommend enough getting the ribs, they are delicious and fall off the bone, everyone kept talking about how great they were. The garlic knots were also a 10/10. HUGE orders, friendly people (offered to bring huge order to car), GREAT pricing and GREAT food. We got the chicken parm, changed pasta sauce - to butter with mushrooms, pasta bolognese, pasta with meat sauce, chicken Marsala, zucchini sticks, garlic knots.came with LOTS of extra bread and parm cheese. Living in NYC my whole life I would say I'm pretty spoiled whenit comes to pizza. Outside of the 5 Boroughs it's kinda hard to find really good pizza. Most of the times it's okay but can be downright horrible at some places. In my opinion Calabria has some really good pizza. It's sauce tastes great and it's not too oily. They seem to use fresh ingredients and the crust has the perfect crunch. They offer a variety of different specialty pies as well. The prices are very good as well. At $14/pie you can't go wrong. My sister and brother in law love this place mostly I think because it's conveniently located. They swear their cheese pizza is the best around. I think I might be a little bit of a pizza snob because I got used to Frantoni's large assortment of cut, sliced pizzas and my wife and children swear that Frantoni's has the best cheese pizza. The location is a small Eat in/takeout spot like a small Chinese take out spot you can eat in but would rather just be at home eating your food . I gave this restaurant two stars because the food is good. I hired them to cater my husband's surprise 50th birthday party. Not only did they bring the food late, they brought it as he was walking in and ruined the surprise. Then the kid left and did not leave me enough serving spoons so I had to go get them at the store. And to top it off, he didn't bother to light the sterno's and the food got cold because I had no idea he didn't light them. The owner was very apologetic and offered to give me a pizza but I think he should've at least offered me some of my money back. I worked on this party for the better part of the year and this delivery dude just ruined it. His apologies mean nothing. I wish I could take back the tip I gave him. read more

Wish I could give 3 1/2 stars because that's what I believe about this pizza restaurant. I always enjoy a great Sicilian slice, but that was where they fell short for me. The dough needs to be thinner, as it got a little chewy for me. Now, that said, the traditional Napolitano pizza is excellent. I tried both a regular and specialty slice with chicken bacon and ranch; both great.
