Walked in around 5 PM and was pleasantly surprised. These donuts were still fresh. None of that tough, day-old chew here. Instead, they were perfectly airy, pillowy-soft, and just the right amount of doughy. The maple and Boston cream were my personal winners. Boston cream filling was silky, not overly sweet. Service was quick and efficient. The woman at the counter wasn't super chatty, but she was kind and made the process smooth. The space itself is simple. The menu is bigger than I expected, and I still need to come back for their drinks. Half a dozen of donuts was around $11. Parking was plentiful since it's in a plaza. A trusty donut chain. The donuts are big and simple and the service is fast and no nonsense. My favorites are the apple fritters and bear claws. The dough is airy and the fillings are fruity and sweet. My least favorites are their cake donuts as there's a strange greasy aftertaste. I would avoid their drinks as they're too sweet. I tried their mocha and I wasn't able to finish even half the cup. They are a bit busy in the morning but the service is fast. This location is reliable and I would come back just for my favorite donuts. read more

This Bosa apparently is going the way of Panera- pennywise and pound foolish- this location also stopped selling small coffee - a quick check- this is a donut place that axed a common choice - so here-we didn't get 2 smalls- we just got their one medium ( and new higher price) and we split it. and they lost a point of sale and something we will share with lots of our donut crowd. we typically spend $9 - now only $5 . we saw many people come in and when told no smalls- they either left or just got a donut and no coffee. why not raise the cost on small? We had a frustrating situation today where we tried to use our $25 giftcard at this specific location and we were rejected because apparently there's new management and there's a new system now? We've had this gift card for around year so doesn't seem fair at all. Lady at the register didn't seem to be helpful at all or even attempt to use our giftcard. I generally LOVE bosa donuts so I was glad to see this one in the area. After a night of Xmas light looking, little Rian wanted a donut. He loves the strawberry glaze with sprinkles. Kamila loves the chocolate glaze with sprinkles. I generally love the fritters and classic donuts. Ericka got a classic with chocolate glaze and I was super stoked to try the mango jelly filling. It was BOMB! We were also hungry so we got a ham sandwich and it reminded us of the sandwiches one would get late night in NY at a deli. Yum. The place was clean and the folks working there were friendly. They offered hand sanitizer and socially distanced their tables. The place was busy with take out orders. Thanks y'all! read more

This is a tough review for me to write simply because I don't really have a sweet tooth. I prefer high quality delicate pastries, often Italian which are not so overbearing with refined sugar. As far as North American donuts go I feel Bosa is a borderline 4 star but I have to be true to the entire spectrum including the small handmade locations. Bottom line is if you like donuts in general you will love Bosa although cashing out at $2+ for one apple fritter was steep and in my opinion you are better off going to Bashas and paying $.79 for the same quality or better. I found this new place when working on the APPLE Plant years ago. The APPLE FRITTERS were Huge, Warm & Fresh 1st thing in the morning. Now they are called FANCY'S and more expensive 1/2 sized regular donuts and FRITTERS are the cheaper donuts. That said I agree this store is no nonsense donut factory with a 10 deep line in the mornings and I don't go their anymore, they don't need my business anyway. I have used the same coupons at other BOSA locations and I even screwed up my order and had the cashier's say "NO WORRIES WE DON'T TRACK COUPONS" there isn't any code and just did whatever i needed. I just went to the store in Mesa Riverview mall and my Apple Fritter bag tipped over and fell out on the counter and the server wanted to replace it and i just said nope and i stuffed it back in my bag and he didn't charge me. It was my fault but he took care without asking, "no charge for FRITTER" also used multiple coupons. This store has good food but staff just move food out and don't care. read more

Poorly managed location. I had never visited Bosa before, but was craving a glazed raised (the most generic and common of all donuts), so I stopped in this past Sunday. I was greeted by a friendly young woman behind the counter, and I told her it was my first time in a Bosa. She gave me a bubbly, "Welcome! What can I get for you?" I asked for glazed raised, even though I couldn't see them in the massive display case in front of me, brimming with hundreds of donuts. She apologized and said they were sold out. Not that I shop for donuts often, but that seems very strange to run out of glazed raised... She offered up one of the two glazed twists they had remaining in the donut case. After asking whether they contained cinnamon (they didn't), I confirmed that a twist would suffice and she put one in a bag. Just as we were heading to a register, another woman employee, with a phone to her ear, came up to the friendly counter person, whispered something to her, and left. With my money in hand, I looked at her perplexed as her face turned less bubbly. She then said, "I'm sorry - she just sold the twists over the phone for a pickup order. I can't sell this to you." She then walked back to the case, took my donut out of the bag and put it back! What the heck?!? I could hear the woman on the phone continuing with the order; the transaction hadn't yet occurred! She could have easily said, "We only have one left. The other one was just sold." I responded, "Really? I'm standing right here with my money. The other person isn't even here and hasn't paid yet." She just said, "I'm sorry. Is there something else I can get for you?" My reply: "Nope. I'll pass." And I walked out, never to return. That's no way to treat a PRESENT and paying customer. I know this place is supposed to be known for their donuts but I had a bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was phenomenal. Warm and toasty with melty cheese and a flaky croissant. Yum! I'll be back like three more times before I leave town. Highly disappointed in the customer service I received. My kids and I visit this Bosa nearly every other week for a dozen donuts. Today, we only needed few donuts, but since I had a coupon in my car for a free half dozen, when you purchase a dozen, I decided to pay the extra and get the deal. After choosing 18 donuts, I hand her the coupon at checkout, not realizing it was expired by one day. Instead of honoring the coupon, she tells me I can't use a coupon that is expired by one day! So instead, I had her put the half dozen back and still ended up spending almost $20, when I originally planned to buy four donuts. Out of Ham n Cheese‼ We often go for their croissants. My wife like the Han n cheese and I like the same with jalapeños. Today they were out of Han n cheese do we got a box of jalapeño. When time is an issue on Sunday mornings, nice traditional breakfast eateries are generally not the best choice. Though we might want to try them, it's just not in the cards most days, as it was this past Sunday for me. So naturally one will go to Plan B, C and D, if need be. I think this donut shop was Plan C for me, and it did the trick. In reality, I was not expecting breakfast sammies, just donuts, so I was a bit surprised to see them on the menu. So I ordered a croissant with ham & sausage. However, somewhere in the translation they must have assumed I did not want egg on it, I know, crazy huh? So there was that, plus it was just microwave stuff to begin with, so nothing to get excited over or go out of your way for. However, their donuts? Top notch! I had some odd nut riddled monster with a we bit of apple filling in it. It kind of reminded me of an apple fritter, but not. It was good! Real good! I asked her how her morning was, no response. Seemed annoyed I walked in and made her work. The 1st one is a young lady with a nose ring and isn't a very good listener, if she would stop talking to her co worker maybe she could hear the order. The 2nd women is bitter beer face. They said they didn't use a card reader for the card anymore even though the card has no expiration date and was bought from this store on Higley/Baseline and had a card holder with their address attached to it. I used to be a big fan of Donut Worry a few miles east of this store and would buy a donut occasionally from this Bosa. I actually found that I like the donuts better from here and now most of my donut dollars (sounds funny right?) go here!
