They have had my car five times and it could've been longer, but the check engine light had to remain on for them to agree to work on it, so they weren't able to. It has been over a year later and the same errors and issues still exist. They claim that GM Engineers were looking at it each time, and they don't know what the issue is. Last time they kept it for two weeks and they didn't know how to fix it and stated when it happens again, to take it in. They have it again now for over a month and still they don't know what the issues are. I had to wait over 3 weeks for them to give me a courtesy vehicle and that's only because I called corporate office. It has been a month and they still aren't aware of what the issues are and still haven't from them. THIS IS A LEMON SINCE DAY ONE. Corporate rep said that they didn't want to have to eat the cost. But why should I and pay for a car that they have and doesn't work will I transport kids in the car. THIS IS A DEATH TRAP! They do not communicate at this dealership. You will get passed around and "handled". I have been having tremendous issues with getting this 2025 Malibu rectified so it doesn't kill anyone while driving it. They will claim their GM Engineers have fixed it and promise you Goodwill payments but then take it back and said I need to contact GM Corporate Office. They had my car for a month and a half and same day of fixing it, it went back to the same. Now it's been over a year, and they told me that they can't give me a loaner, I have to wait a week to fix it, and they said if they were me then I should trade it in even if I may have to pay extra. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT ON THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM ALONG WITH EVERYTHING THAT HAS HAPPENED OVER A YEAR!

We live in north suburban Chicago and not northwest Indiana, and ran into a major engine issue with our 2020 Kia Sportage enroute to Cleveland for our daughter's law school graduation. We initially has the car towed from an I-90 oasis to an AAA repair facility but when it became clear this was an engine problem had it towed again to Graff (then Bosuk) Kia since the car was still under Kia's powertrain warranty. We had to take a rental car to the graduation and (from there) a planned trip to upstate NY, all while our Sportage was being repaired. Austin greatly helped us with documentation issues, which kept the bill more affordable, and he ensured the car was repaired and ready for pickup when we made the return trip through Indiana. Last month, we had an additional issue with the Sportage and we brought it into McGrath Kia, near home. The resolution included replacement of several parts that had just been installed by Graff (then Bosak) Kia months earlier. Since both facilities are certified Kia dealers and the May 2025 repairs were under warranty, we expected our costs to be largely covered. However, McGrath Kia would not honor another certified Kia dealer's warranty, and Kia's national customer service center backed them up, stating that the warranty was only valid with the dealer that provided the service (about 2 hours drive from us). Pretty upset about paying a second very expensive car repair bill within 6 months, I called Graff Kia and spoke with Austin, who told me that he/Graff often honor warranties on work performed at other certified dealers. It required him to fill out extra paperwork -- he suspected that to be McGrath's issue -- but he was very willing to do it. While we had to initially pay the McGrath bill out of pocket, Austin let us know that we will be reimbursed us in full. This is what excellent and honorable customer service looks like!

Beyond frustrating and the response I received highlights a bit of incompetence on a few different areas (customer service and parts ordering / management). I asked the service lead, "Who at the business can I talk to in order to share my concerns with and most importantly stop the endless loop of part issues? As a quick reminder all the parts were supposed to arrive May 7th and today is June 3. There is an obvious breakdown / gap in the way things are being done today." The response I received was, "No one here. All we can do is submit the order and wait for it to come in. Once it gets here and the Tech starts installing, we won't know if anything is incorrect until installation starts and a part doesn't fit, which is what happened in your case. We have no control over how fast or slow parts show up. and most importantly, if we order something and they don't show up, there is literally nothing we can do about that except order it again and wait."

They contacted me relentlessly for a couple weeks asking me to bring it in. I finally did, and they offered me 36k for my MGM 22 TRD Off-Road Premium. Meanwhile, they have a 2023 MGM 4Runner SR5 TWO Wheel drive on their showroom floor asking 49k. I kept my 4Runner obviously, I dont need to sell it. But the audacity to harass me with phone calls and texts to then insult me with such a low offer. Don't do business with these scumbags.

Reece started the pre approval process for us while we did this. Overall, this was the best car buying experience i have had in my entire life. Reece was not only extremely professional, he WAS NOT pushy in any way. All the other workers we encountered were also extremely professional & kind.
