We decided to try a pub we'd never been to before. Arrived for a late lunch at about 330pm on a Thursday. There weren't many people there but it was picking up by the time we left. We both ordered the BLT with Cheese. It came with fries and was a quite a bargain at $11 compared to other things on the menu. We both liked it. I asked for crispy bacon and it was just right. Even the fries are worth mentioning. I can't say that we'll be back to order that anytime soon since it's not very healthy but it was tasty. Next time I go there, I'll try some of the other interesting things on the menu. If I do order the same thing, I'll at least ask them to hold the cheese. read more

After a long day of moving items out of a trailer and into the house, we developed a thirst that could not be quenched! So I decided to pay the folks back that helped me move everything and go to Bosque brewery. We sat down and were immediately taken care of by our weight staff. Not very friendly, but not unpleasant. We got our drinks and then we ordered our food. The food came out pretty quick and normally the fish and chips are awesome. However, this time around the fish breading was not cooked thoroughly. Nonetheless, we finished our plates and advise our weight staff to inform the cook about the fish and chips. Overall, another great experience and we had fun with a wide variety of brewery. Beers. Finally got the chance to check out Bosque's newest spot and let me tell you, definitely worth stopping by. My biggest excitement comes from the fact that they have added cocktails to their menu which is a huge win in my opinion. I'm not a beer drinker and their cider seltzer options aren't bad but not really my preference. The cocktails were awesome though, I got a perpetual sunrise and it was fruity/lemony perfection. The main reason we went there was for the nachos which I found out are not the same standard nachos that used to be on the menu but the chicken elote nachos were super good. It's been nice to have this location, some of our favorite staple NM beers are Bosque Beers - The Scotia is one of our absolute favorites of all time, but Elephants on Parade is a classic as well. We often stop by for a growler of our favorite to take home. This location is large, clean, and the staff is always friendly. The outside is spacious and dog-friendly, a great place to sit during good weather. A shoutout to the Pretzel Bratwurst Sandwich which is somehow the pinnacle of good bar food. read more

This location has always been a go to spot for us. We typically visit a few times a month. We came in last night after being out of town for a couple months only to discover the menu is now totally inedible. I am not a picky eater. At all. Yet I couldn't find anything to eat. The queso and chips, which have always been reliable, are now what I can only describe as foamy. The Caesar salad was a pile of limp greens drowned in buckets of sauce and dressing. No chicken because they no longer serve anything but nasty chicken thighs. Add the massive price increase and this doesn't read like "craft" anything. It reads like cost-cutting disguised as intentional evolution. Also of note that in other reviews that are critical, the only response is that you can still get the old menu at other locations. This says they either know it's bad and can't say that or they don't care. Neither bodes well. read more

All used dishes are piled on the bar to be washed. Stinky dishes are always stacked up, wasting seats at bar (right in front of tv) and making for a very annoying and negative experience for people who are unfortunate enough to sit nearby. Whoever thought this was a good way to run a bar should be banned for life. Having said that, i don't have a single complaint about the staff or the food. Just the bar. Went to this Bosque Brewing location while on vacation in ABQ because it was highly recommended by locals. It wasn't busy as my boyfriend and I went on a Wednesday night around 7pm. When I first got there, we waited about 20 minutes before we got to see our server. Our server was nice and knowledgeable, but I asked for no avocado on the chicken elote nachos, because I'm allergic, and they still came with avocado. They don't have a full service bar as they only have selected local brews so that is something to know before going. Disappointing that this all happened on a first visit, but the food was pretty delicious. Their crispy breaded chicken was amazing on the Caesar salad and green chili Mac and cheese. Solid atmosphere and I can see why people highly recommend this spot, I just wouldn't depend on their service being the best. read more

Used to like this place for what it was. Atmosphere has never been better than a Chili's or sports bar and service has always been below average, but the drinks were decent and the food could be great. After a menu switch up they got rid of many favorites including the nachos. A recent visit had the same so-so service and they didn't have a new menu item I came to try. I opted for the mussel curry which came with crostini. The crostini was essentially stale bread, not a crunchy toast but old, hard, gummy bread. Half the mussel shells were broken and some hardly looked cooked. The horchata was also watery and hardly sweet. My partner's duck frites were better, but both came out lukewarm and the whole experience put us off from going again. Prices are also far too high. Expect to pay Vegas prices for what amounts to very unimpressive food. The other locations are even worse. read more

After the restaurant nearby couldn't accommodate us on a Saturday night, we thought we would do a repeat at Bosque since we had a great experience the afternoon before. Unfortunately the experience was like a 180. Our server (name withheld) seemed completely uninterested and unattentive. He forgot a soda when he brought drinks. No big deal, just gave him a reminder. He returned to take our order and we reminded him again about the soda. He said he would get it but could take our order first. After we gave it, I reminded him for the third time about the drink. Needless to say he did not bring it. One of our party ended up going to the bar to get it. It seemed like a long time for our dinners to arrive and when they did some were cool/cold. Clearly the delay was due to him not bringing the food out timely. When he checked on us he was crunching ice. Unfortunately he wasn't a good reflection on the establishment. We saw Dougie on our way in and were hoping he would be our server as he did an amazing job the day before. Sadly it was not to be. read more

I've been a fan of Bosque Brewing for awhile. I remember when they first started and thought the beer could improve. Thankfully they did. The location in Eubank is new to me and I went twice in three days. The food and drink were great both times; however, the service the second time was bad. Maybe a bad night for the server. The new menu was interesting so I tried the mushroom tacos. Three small street tacos, some blue corn chips on the side, and a small cup of salsa. The mushrooms were rubbery and not able to bite into the taco without the entire mushroom stem pulling out of the taco. One rubbery stem per taco, almost impossible to chew. The flavor of the corn and other ingredients in the taco was ok, good corn tortillas. I don't recommend this. It was a disappointment. Bosque Brewing in the heights has an excellent dog friendly patio and extremely tasty food and drink! I had the BEST mussels I have ever had anywhere! The broth is a light curry, and the mussels are large and tasty! My bro had a "very solid" green chile cheeseburger which Bosque was happy to cook rare, per his preference. The beautiful patio with a bit of shade and a nice breeze and the cool brews with delicious food made for a perfect lunch. read more

We were here for the Lord of the Rings trivia night! So fun! I tried the themed cocktail and my friend said it was a bit watered down but maybe that's why I was able to drink it (hint hint the Asian flush lol). It was fruity but not too sweet! The shishito peppers are always my go to when I come to any of the bosque locations. They were yummy! Perfectly blistered! Our server was really funny and friendly! There were multiple TVs at this location so I imagine watching sports here will be great! I also like that they have so many options to choose from, drink-wise! read more

This brewery needed a minute to get its feet under it. We visited when it first opened in July and the food was awful and the waitress literally spilled a beer on me. She was really rude about it too. Thankfully we gave it another chance and it's now one of my favorite places to eat... the volume has leveled out and the service has improved ten fold. Staff is friendly and the poutine is my husband's favorite thing in the world to eat! We get the fried pickles as a starter and they are spicy, hot and fresh. Really good. I've tried just about everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Dad loves the fish and chips (huge) and the kid loves the cheese quesadilla. The beer doesn't disappoint either. A nice, clean brewery for casual fun and food. The build-your-own burger was tasty, but no sauces come on it which I would have preferred. The bacon on the burger was cooked well and the blue cheese I requested on it was the perfect level of sharp. The fries were delicious and came with a light spice. Bosque does not carry fry sauce, but does carry a sriracha aioli, ranch, and ketchup. I'd likely stick with beer next time. It's a gamble getting a mixed drink at a brewery, and the mojito I got was heavy on the soda water and light on the fresh mint. I wouldn't get that drink there again. The venue was clean and service friendly and quick. Food was 4/5, service 5/5, mixed drinks 2/5, for an overall 4/5 for me. read more

Love love love. This is such a great location for a Sunday evening. I am not too much of a beer drinker, but I ordered the "Beyond the Trees" cider, and it was great. Been here several times now and they have since expanded their menu from my original review. There are so many great looking options. I consider myself a bit of a nacho snob. There's a lot of good nachos in this town (also a lot of bad) but the Elote Nachos here are something special (Cheeto dust???). Freaking delicious and unique. You can't go wrong. They have also added other neat dishes like chicken poutine, Thai Style Mussels, etc. I haven't tried the mussels but those are probably next up. The "poutine" was a major disappointment though. Poutine is having a moment. There's stiff competition all around. Frankly, this was the saddest excuse for poutine that I've seen. To even call it poutine is misleading as far as I'm concerned. It was fries (delicious fries), pretty standard (watery) gravy, some cheese, and shredded chicken. It did not seem to be cheese curds, the gravy was watery, and most of the fries didn't have the slightest bit of anything on them. I'm not a huge gravy person but there wasn't even enough to cover the dish nor was there enough to actually dip all the fries that weren't covered in it. I mentioned this to the waitress that there was hardly any gravy and if we could get a small side of it. The part that was annoying is we were charged $1 for it. Not a huge deal but really? Charged extra when it was lacking the first time and crappy poutine at that? Yeah, no thank you. If you want good poutine go to Quarter Celtic down the street. It puts this to shame. Overall, we do still like this place and generally the food is very good. The "poutine" is a pass though. To call it poutine is downright misleading. read more

Bottom Line: Off the scale friendly staff serving up an excellent stout and highly flavorful birria tacos in a standard brewpub setting. Downside being they are small'ish street tacos so the portion comes up looking diminutive. Top Line: Early dinner hit-up around mid-afternoon at Bosque Brewing at Eubank Blvd & Spain Rd started with friendly hostess sequestering me in a requested window booth. Waitress was right behind her to take my order for a pint of their Chocolate Driftwood oatmeal stout while I waited for a pair of dining compadres to show up. Stout was heavy into the chocodynasty flavoring and creamy on the body checklist. A substantial brew with heft landing body blows to the taste buds. Chocolatey, rich, and filling. After dining partners arrived, got settled, & beered we ordered comestibles. They went Gonzo New Mexican with bowls of green chile stew to match their brews. I jumped for the 3 beef birria taco plate that came with elotes, chips, & salsa. I figured the strong flavorings would dance well with the rich stout. A quarter sheet baking sheet ferried in the tacos with a ramekin of dipping jus, whole kernel Mexi corn, blue corn tortilla chips, & an accompanying little cup of salsa. First impression was that the tacos were seriously small. However, the first bite of them was a flavor explosion. Rich, varied, and decidedly spicy impact on the tongue. Two-alarm firey kick!! Dunking into the dipping sauce didn't dampen down the flames, but added some umami notes that emphasized the meaty taste underlying all that delightful burn. The melted cheese layer cradled between the super flavorful meat & the sturdy mini corn tortilla registered subtly and more as a textural element than a flavor note. Tacos hung with the heavyweights in taste right to the final bell. The whole kernel elotes were on the mark, with the addition of what I perceived as a distinct garlic hit. Texture was plump & taut. No shriveled limpoids in this batch. Blue corn tortilla chips were of medium thickness and crispy. Salsa had what I thought was very mild taste & kick in the heat department. I finished the last of it with a spoon and felt no particular burn from it Or perhaps my taste buds had been cauterized by the firey meat in the tacos. A very heartfelt shout out to Kandrise, our waitress, whose sparkling fun personality made interacting with her throughout the meal a wonderfully enjoyable and entertaining experience. Not only was she delightfully engaging, she was simultaneously very conscientiously checking back periodically to verify all remained well with our meal and to deliver requested items. Probably some of the best fried pickles I've had in town, they were delicious and just the right level of crispy. The cider was good as always and no complaints there. The waitstaff were all pleasant and knowledgeable about the selections. There did seem to be some confusion as far as food delivery went, maybe they're just getting things underway at this relatively new spot. Four instead of five stars not for that but because I thought I had read somewhere in one of their posts that they had a heated patio (or maybe they were planning to?). To be clear there are no heaters on the patio. It's a very nice patio but can be a bit chilly especially now that we've moved into the darker days of almost winter! read more

Solid four stars for both the beer and cider we had on tap and the food. The cider was crisp and not too sweet. Very refreshing. My husband had the Bosque lager (Pilsner style) and said it was crisp, clean and had a light floral finish. The chicken nachos were very good with great balance of ingredients. Adding green salsa and skipping Cheeto dust made them even better. The hatch green chili burger with bacon was also good. The fries were awesome - crisp and fluffy. Service and ambience equally good. Fisrt time at this new location and my wife and I were very pleased. We were greeted as we entered and seated right away. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered the Jetty Jack and it was great. We tried the fish and chips (always looking for the best) and were surprised by the size of it. The picture shows 3 but the regular order comes with two. Batter was very light and crispy and fish was perfectly cooked. A great dining experience. My only criticism would be that only a jalapeño tartar sauce (which is delicious if you like spicy jalapeño) was offered. Would love to see another less spicy option.
