We are from out of town and stopped on our way home to pick up dinner. We ordered $55 worth of food. Upon arrival the cashier (nice young lady) and one very young man in the kitchen were both wearing their face masks correctly (thank you for following appropriate COVID-19 precautions)! As for the other four cooks actually working in the kitchen cooking food, we were horrified to see how they were working! One older man had his mask hooked on his ears but strapped completely under his chin. Another middle-aged man had his facemask sitting under his upper lip (the top of his mask was sitting right in the crease between his upper and lower lips). The other two cooks both had their masks sitting well below their noses. We were sick to our stomach thinking that we never would have known this if we had the food delivered! We waited in line and when it was our turn we told the cashier that based on what we were seeing, we needed to cancel our order. All but one cook was breathing all over everybody's food and were not following any safety precautions during a pandemic. She entered the kitchen to tell the manager, who then instructed her how to handle the situation, yet not one of those cooks changed their behavior! We were in the restaurant for 15 minutes - between waiting in line and waiting to resolve the situation - and never did anyone adjust or fix their face masks. Never again! Please beware ordering food from this restaurant! Especially during this pandemic!! read more

The pizza is pretty much always great but I do have to finally issue a complaint about the chicken wings, we call it "10 strikes you're out". We've ordered pizza and wings many times and Friday night was the 10th and final time we will ever order wings from there. They consistently arrive undercooked to the point where we have to put them in the oven for at least 20 minutes, which defeats the purpose of a "Pizza and Wing night", we are completely done with our pizza when we are finally able to eat the wings. We will continue to order pizza from Boston Bay because we really love it but we are done with the wings. read more

This service was abysmal at best. 4/4 items on our order were ruined, one didn't come, and two were completely incorrect and varied from the menus description. Upon trying to correct this with a reasonable level head, the manager had scolded us and told us we shouldn't have any complaints because he gave us a side of mayonnaise no charge. Sounds like a joke but I couldn't make this up if I tried. After two trips from the driver, and two uncomfortable conversations with management, the consolation they offered was another driver showing up on the doorstep, after half the family ate and half the family didn't, with 7 single dollar bills as "a courtesy". No refund was issued, and any that had, had been done with crumpled up one dollar bills and not refunded back to the card. Super unprofessional, super impolite. I have just paid for a service I haven't been provided, and quite simply...that's not right. Driver was patient and fantastic. Recently ordered from here for the first time. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza(well done) and an order of french fries. The pizza was completely under cooked and very soft and flimsy. I would compare the taste to frozen pizza The french fries were good because the oil was fresh. Not a good first impression and was really hoping the place lived up to the hype. Only 1 star because there's no 0 option. Tonight I Ordered around 730 pm because my son wanted something special. I was quoted 40 min for delivery - came close to an hour later. Okay fine, I understand, it's probably busy tonight. We Ordered 2 8 inch grinders. Received a 6 inch and a 8/9 inch grinder. Chicken cutlet so burned it smelled burned. Called and complained was told it looks burned because it's homemade. No I know what homemade is. it's so burned my son refused to eat it. They even put the more burned side down so we wouldn't see it. But we smelt it and tasted it. Asked if I wanted anything done about it I told them no I just don't want it to ruin someone else's night just wanted them to know what was going on. Was then told it's because the regular chef/ cook wasn't there. First time ever going here and I'm never going back. Spent $20 on 2 small terrible grinders + delivery and tip for delivery guy. So upset I'm in tears. Not even kidding. I'm pregnant and a grinder sounded so good since I have no appetite anymore but I didn't even end up eating anything. Just tried this place for the first time after hearing about it from friends. Ordered online... big mistake. Came on time, but my order was incorrect. Upon noticing, I called and was greeted by a female who made no attempt to redo my order or offer a refund. Instead she apologized and stated they read the ticket wrong (she repeated my exact order). My girlfriend tried the pizza and said it is a carbon copy of pizza hut. Next time i think I will go to Pizza hut since at least they have good service unlike this place. read more

my husband and i used to order from here all the time the pizza and wings were the best around. whoever took this place over needs to get shutdown. ordered chicken broccoli alfredo and it was absolutely disgusting no salt no pepper it looked like a soup thats how watered down it was. and to top that off the alfredo sauce had to have been spoiled all along the edge of the container the cheese was separating from the water and it looked like it was curdled cheese my husband tried it and was like let me try putting salt and pepper on it he ate a out 6 bites and threw it out and about 30 mins later started getting sharp stabbing pains in his stomach to the point it brought tears to his eyes he ran to the bathroom and was throwing up and had diarrhea for the rest of the night into the next day. Got a pizza from here for the first time today since I had recently heard they offered a Gluten Free crust, big thing for me with Celiacs disease. All was well until I bit into a giant hair and that was the end up dinner for tonight. It was slight above average for GF pizzas but after the hair it was uneatable. Everyone has their favorite style pizza. If you prefer a more pastry type crust, not dripping all over, Boston Bay is definitely the way to go. They also will brown it for you (well done), which IMHO is hard to beat. Great people to deal with also. read more

Used to order from here all the time,but no more. Ordered food two days in a row. First day was fine my wife ordered me the wrong thing, but we got what was ordered. The second day my wife ordered me what I wanted , but the person taking the order just copied the order from the day before( she told us this when my wife called to tell them of the mistake). We where told that we would be not be charged for the wrong order(which I think is the right thing to do), but when my wife told them that I still wanted what I ordered they said I would be charged and it would be 45 min for delivery. So I got to eat 45 min after the rest of my family. My wife called the next day to talk to them about this and she was told the manager said he all he was will to do was give us a $5 off our next order, sorry but that doesn't even cover the cost of the meal that your employee, by her own admission, screwed up. So, where do I begin... We've ordered pizza here many times and it is excellent, especially the California Chicken and Bacon. BUT, we thought we'd give their dinners a shot for lunch time delivery. I noticed on the menu they had chicken francaise so I asked if they could make veal francaise in stead and they said No problem, just an extra $2.99... So we ordered Veal Marsala and Veal Francaise. When the food arrived, we were surprised to see they gave us Veal Parm instead of the Veal Marsala and the Veal Francaise was made with FROZEN BREADED VEAL PATTIES cut into strips as well as 2 cooked lemon wedges. I could not believe my eyes. And I could not believe that a restaurant would actually try to sautee a Pre-Cooked frozen breaded veal patty that ended up looking like overcooked fish sticks atop 4 lbs of die-as-a-bone pasta. This is something that I could maybe see an 8 year old making while trying to be creative with minimal cooking supplies. Now never in my wildest dreams would I have thought a reputable restaurant, such as Boston Bay, to even THINK about putting Marsala or Francaise on their menu if you aren't going to buy the correct ingredients nor even cook them properly. And since we never got the veal Marsala I called back and requested they bring us the correct meal because we Did Not order veal parm. After I got off the phone, I thought to myself, Shit, they don't even use real Veal so the Marsala is going to be sliced up pre-cooked frozen breaded veal patties as well. AKA, the wrong way to make Italian food. AKA, garbage. And wouldn't you know, when the Marsala arrived it looked like overcooked fish sticks atop 4 lbs of pasta with 39 mushrooms. I'd be completely and utterly embarrassed to be the manager/cook who orders the food for this place because these Francaise and Marsala dinners were disgusting. But the staff was polite, or at least the woman on the phone was. read more

I ordered a pizza for delivery and they said it would be 40 minutes. After 60 minutes I spoke to someone at the restaurant who said it would be there any minute. 20 minutes later I called back and they gave me attitude saying that the driver "left with 5 orders and he goes in order. he'll get there." The pizza showed up 15 minutes after that and it was cold. I called the restaurant back and they told me not to touch that pizza as they'd send someone to come get it and they have to make a new one. I told them they could come get it and I wanted my money back. After receiving an attitude from the woman on the phone, she told me the manager would handle that through PayPal and hung up on me. I processed a dispute through PayPal and tried to work it out through the owner and they never responded. There was never a period where they apologized, so maybe this type of service is typical of them. I do not recommend Boston Bay, as there are multiple pizza places in Chicopee that are a much better option. read more
