Burger here was NOT good, I really don't understand the good reviews. Once again, yelp failed us as we went off the ratings on this app. We stopped in for lunch and ordered their classic burger, we were asked how we wanted the burgers done which was insignificant seeing that the burgers aren't cooked per order, but rather cooked before hand and then seemingly "warmed up". Our burgers weren't pink at all, which is what medium should be, they had no juice as a fresh burger should have. They were dry and lifeless, and just a big disappointment. I also had asked for a side of mayonnaise which the waitress never remembered to bring. The best thing, I guess, were the potato chips which funny enough, neither my husband or I wanted or asked for. Just a loser lunch and big waste of money. Do not go here unless you're desperate. I'd go to "which wich" over this any day of the week. Bland and boring :( read more

BBC is the place to go if you want great tasting burgers in a classier, cleaner, restaurant setting. Location is great, 5 mins from Prudential, across from Berklee. Gotta give credit for their creativity; who wouldn't want to try their burgers with names like Kitchen sink, Artery clogger, and Bahama mama? For sides, you have home made chips with the choice of coleslaw or honey baked beans. Baked beans was a nice sweet complement to the salty chips and burger. The buns are fantastic. Because its left on the grill for the perfect duration, its got the perfect crunch and oil like you're eating fresh garlic bread. The bf recommends the Kitchen Sink because of its complete package- fried egg, bacon, ham, onions, peppers, mushrooms with american, cheddar, and provolone with bbq sauce. Egg is half cooked so the yolk promptly oozes out beautifully onto the patty. As a fan of guacamole, I'd recommend the Green Monstah: homemade guacamole, pico de gallo, with 'cheddah' jack cheese. The light spiceyness of the salsa-like-pico de gallo paired well with the creaminess of the guac. Their black angus patty was done medium rare as requested. Holy Food Coma! Just coming off the high of today's amazing opening game at Fenway, my friend and I wandered in just before the rush. We got a table right away, and I was happy to be able to able to watch the action in the kitchen. As soon as we looked at the menu, I remembered just why BBC sounded so familiar (besides reading Yelp reviews, of course): it's because Guy on Diners, Drive In's and Dives was here! If Guy says to eat it, I'm eating it!! I ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger with Mac & Cheese (hey, I know my cholesterol level is low, so I wasn't worried) and my friend ordered the Vermonster with a Gluten-Free roll. Came on Friday evening after the Sam Adams beer tour and had about a 30 minute wait. The thing that drew me to this restaurant was the insane looking s'mores frappe that I unfortunately didn't end up getting because I was way too full. I have been going to Boston Burger company for years-- since it first opened on Boylston street. Back then the burgers were juicy, flavorful and well seasoned. Prices were reasonable. Over the course of a couple years, this restaurant has declined drastically. Quality of food as decreased and prices have increased about 30%. Service is rude and lacking and burgers are dry and dense. It saddens me to see the dilapidated remains of a once great burger spot. Crazy list of burgers with crazy huge frappe! We used the wait list function on yelp and went to the restaurant 40 minutes later. Should have ordered medium rare instead of medium, but it was still satisfying. The order came with a side of handcut chips but they were abit cold and hard. Wished they were fresher and hotter. The King Frappe was mind blowing. It literally blew our brain with the amount of sugar. Caramel, sugar, peanut, sugar, cream, sugar, bacon, sugar, caramelised banana, sugar..... it was very very sweet ! It was 'fun' but I'm just not sure how to finish it. One day, I was on the treadmill watching Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives when I saw Guy Fieri visit a burger joint in Boston that served a mac and cheese burger. As a huge fan of burgers and mac and cheese, I figured this would be my place. I was not wrong. The "Mac Attack" burger at Boston Burger is delicious. I almost managed to finish the entire thing, but it was wayyy too much food. The mac and cheese basically acts as a substitute for cheese, and the bacon adds the perfect amount of crunch to the otherwise soft interior of the burger. Given the quantity of food, it's pretty difficult to bite into the burger without spillage, so don't wear your favorite shirt to avoid potential grease stains. read more

A tad disappointed in Guy Fieri. My experience at Boston Burger Co. fell short of expectations. The only saving grace was the #FreakFrappe (aka crazy milkshake). We ordered an All American burger ($12) and a Frappe ($9) to split (One of the previous monthly flavors so I'm not sure the name - It had churros and a choco taco inside!). They have some crazy burgers on the menu, but we wanted to keep it somewhat simple (bacon, bbq sauce, blue cheese, cheese, lettuce, tomato). I saw the video about BBC on Food Network. Honestly, it was overpriced for a hamburger and didn't really knock my socks off. TLDR: Good burger, way overpriced, all the sides stink. I went to 3 different burger joints on my trip to Boston. Boston Burger Company, Eagles Deli and Wahlburgers. Out of those three, this was my least favorite. You basically pay for the novelty of all the unique burger combinations. The burger meat itself was above average, but it wasn't $13 good. Plus the parking is horrible, but I guess that's about all you can expect in a city like Boston. The milkshakes here are ridiculous. They're huge and taste very good. The prices for shakes begin at $12. Like everything they have, it's great quality, just not really worth the high prices. They make you choose between mediocre Boston baked beans and Cole slaw that tastes like it came from Walmart. The chips that they don't allow you to substitute for anything else taste like they came out of a bag at a gas station. Mediocre at best. The sides and everything that came with the meal really brought down my opinion. I was so excited to try some Boston clam chowdah, but either Boston Clam Chowder is mediocre or these guys are a bad representative of Boston. I ordered the Big Papi burger. It was really good. They also have the text service for the waitlist so you don't have to stand right inside if you don't want. We ordered milkshakes to start. I got the king and my sister got the churro milkshake. These milkshakes are huge!!! We definitely could have shared one but they were so so good, very decedent. For dinner I got the All American burger, as a blue cheese lover the blue cheese dressing on the burger was amazing. My sister got a build her own with bacon and cheese (she's a little plain lol) but she loved hers too. I've been wanting to come here FOREVER ever since I saw the freak frappes on Instagram. Short story-they do not disappoint! This place was surprisingly packed for a Monday night. For three people, we waited about 20 minutes. My table shared three things: the sampler appetizer, the Hot Mess Burger, and the July special freak frappe: key lime pie. Everything was amazing! I am not a huge beef/burger fan, but I was a huge fan of the burger we had. The sample platter comes with three of each, which was was perfect for our table. The freak frappe was the best part. Cheesecake on top of a milkshake? Incredible. So worth the $14. Definitely something you have to share, though! Sharing an appetizer, a burger, and milkshake was more than plenty for our party of 3. I wish I had taken a picture of my burger! That was my mistake! I got The King which had a fried banana, peanut butter, bacon, cinnamon and sugar and the burger was equal parts sweet and savory. The cook did a wonderful job cooking my burger to the requested temp of medium rare and our waiter was fantastic. If I could recommend anything, I'd like to have more bacon and thicker bacon for the burgers. I did not get a chance to taste one of the frappes but each table outside had one and they looked fantastic.
