I came here for dinner and had a great time. This casual spot offers a variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and other small bites. Service here is pretty quick and very attentive. I got their ranch BLT (with the ranch on the side) and chips were also included. It was delicious but I just wish that the bacon strips were a bit bigger. Chips were also salted nicely but weren't very crispy. Overall, not a bad spot for a casual burger.

Sat at the bar and enjoyed a burger and a beer with my daughter before a game at Fenway. Plenty of good choices on the menu. I had the Alpine which is a burger topped with garlic Parmesan mushrooms and Swiss cheese. It came out rare, as I had ordered it. The roll was fresh. The house made chips were yummy. I ordered coleslaw which was standard. I enjoyed a pint of The Substance from Bissell Brothers. All good. Service was very good. No complaints. They have #Freakfrappes on the menu, which we did not get. They are absolutely huge! Glad we stopped by.

Great burger spot right near Fenway. My mom and I came for the Boston marathon and needed something quick and delicious. Service was fast and the food was delicious.

Beautiful fall day. Sit outside and watch all the music students walking to class. The Buffalo burger. Melted blue cheese on top and smothered with franks hot sauce. The burger is big, and the sauce will drip down your arm. Home made crunchy chips. And the Boston beans are wonderful. Overall a solid burger and awesome place to be.

Service was great! I got a gluten free bun on my burger, which I was glad they had! Unfortunately, it was fairly dry and crumbled. The moisture that was in my burger was quickly soaked up into the bun leaving an unpleasant dry burger with hints of balsamic and great flavors pulling through. I'm fairly certain that Hamilton, our server noticed that I was not eating and asked but I declined to elaborate as I was honestly happy to find did I could eat and he was so helpful! I was warned of cross contamination of fries (I appreciated that heads up) and accepted that risk as long as they were not battered or coated; unfortunately upon arrival, they were coated. Hubby really enjoyed his burger and the shakes looked incredible! The chips were really good!! I was sad that the beans were what I'll remember Boston Beans as, I'll make my own back in Arizona...

We came back because the food was awesome. They weren't too busy, but I'm sure it was because of the freezing cold. But the service was honestly horrible. We were sat past the kitchen window where a few staff members all hung out on their phones. Our server finally came over to get our drink orders, and we asked for a couple minutes to decide. The server did not come back over for well over 15 minutes, and I tried to get his attention but he avoided contact and just kept checking his phone. Him taking our food order was the last time we saw him until after we were done with our food. Our app came out and then the burgers right after. Again the food is amazing, and for the first time we got the frappes. The holy cannoli was amazing. The place has a great vibe, and kept really clean. I totally suggest this place for the food. I'm hoping that the service was just a fluke for the night.

We accidentally showed up before they even opened (classic us), but instead of shooing us away they let us sit inside with ice-cold water. MVP move. Service was solid the whole meal -- just took a little longer to cash out at the end. I got the Killer Bee burger and wow... it was messy, sweet, spicy, crunchy, cheesy -- basically everything you want in a burger. And yes, I actually finished it. My son made his own creation loaded with veggies and demolished the whole thing too. The only heartbreak? No room left for one of their outrageous Freakfrappes. They looked ridiculous in the best way. Next time, I'm starting with dessert.

    Kids Mac & Cheese Bites

I brought my kids to BBCo after a trip to the MFA. There was something for everyone, which was perfect. My kids liked their meals although my son wasn't crazy about the cheese in the Mac & cheese bites. Not sure what they used, but they weren't his favorite. The other kids meals - the grilled cheese and cheeseburger were good, zero complaints. And all the kids liked the chips. The chicken caprese sandwich was excellent! The flavors melded well together and the chicken was juicy. It usually comes with chips but I declined them. We had to round out with one of the giant frappes. The kids devoured it in about 30 seconds. I managed to get a sip and a taste, and can confirm that it tastes as good as it looked. My only complaint about the whole lunch was that service is slow. It was two hours from sit down to leaving and we could've done it in an hour easily. Our waiter was incredibly busy, working the bar seating and tables - I can't fault him. I'm not sure if it's staffing, but the guy could have used some help.

I'll start by saying that the service was terrible. Our waitress took a long time for every single thing and was standing around chitchatting most of the time. There were only about 3 tables with people, so when you are waiting 10 minutes to order, it's a bit frustrating. However, the food was very good. The garlic parm fries were solid, and the Wicked Hot burger was right up my alley with great flavor! I'd highly recommend it, and it's not overly spicy for those who might worry. This is probably more like a 3.5-star due to the service being so bad, but I'll still keep it as a 4 on here (due to limitations) because the burger was overall really good.

I have never had anything bad here. Sadly I usually eat it all before remembering to take photos. The only think I haven't tried is the massive sundaes but I'm sure if you have a sweet tooth it's good. Every time I go to Boston I try to figure out a way to bring this home.

My friend and I came here last night for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. This was my first time coming. We split fried pickles which were out of this world! The cheese sauce that came with it was awesome. The buffalo chicken Mac & Cheese I had was outstanding. It was spicy but not too spicy. Our waiter was great and the food came out quickly. The music playing was great and there were cool decorations on the walls. I will definitely come back to this place!

I loved the BYOB. Mozzarella sticks, mac and cheese, and tons of other delicious options to make your dream burger! The patty was cooked perfectly. The homemade chips were good, I just wish they were seasoned. I was disappointed with the milkshake. I don't understand how you can justify paying the dine-in price for a milkshake, when you get just the milkshake for take out and delivery orders - no dramatic effects (toppings) including. It was a rip off. Otherwise, the milkshake was OK. The food is great, but I don't think they'll receive return business from me.

Italian Sub: $20 for a foot long, the meat was so plentiful it's almost overflowing, enough for two meals. The prisciutto was tender and juicy; the salami was firm and savory with a strong smokiness. Both are thinly sliced, so despite the thick stack, it was relatively easy for a bite. The provolone cheese was also generously portioned, with a robust yet not spicy flavor and a subtle nutty aroma, perfectly complementing the two meats. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar were particularly outstanding: mellow, tangy, and with a fruity aroma of grapes, key to the complex flavor profile. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh, especially the onions were refreshing and a little zingy, perfect for removing the greasiness. Unfortunately, I was worried about not being able to roll it back up properly and making it inconvenient to carry (which it actually happened), so I took it away and ate it at the office. We walked into a simple counter-service space with limited indoor seating, the kind of place that feels more like a grab-and-go stop than a sit-down lunch spot. Even with its small footprint, there was a steady stream of customers coming in for one of the signature sandwiches, and the energy of the room stayed practical and focused on getting orders out efficiently. The lobster roll is the clear standout. We ordered one and found it generously filled with lobster meat, making it feel substantial compared to many other lobster rolls around the city. Whether you choose it hot with butter or cold with mayo, the focus stays on the lobster itself rather than overwhelming it with extra ingredients. The toasted roll added just enough texture without taking away from the filling. Although the lobster roll gets most of the attention, the rest of the menu offers plenty of options if seafood is not what you are looking for. There are oversized sandwiches, soups like clam chowder, and classic sides that make it easy to find something for different tastes. The portions are generous overall, making the prices feel reasonable considering the amount of food you receive. The service was quick and efficient, which fits the fast-paced counter-service concept. The staff moved through orders with speed, and the food came out without much delay. The biggest thing to keep in mind is the limited seating, especially during lunch hours or peak tourist seasons in the North End. If the dining area is full, taking your food to go or finding a nearby outdoor spot can be a better option. Overall, Pauli's is a great stop if you are looking for a satisfying lobster roll without an overly formal seafood restaurant experience. The generous portions, straightforward menu, and convenient location make it an easy place to visit while exploring the North End, especially if lobster rolls are at the top of your list.

The spinach tortellini with the pesto cream sauce is my absolute favorite- it's a HUGE portion and so delicious. It usually lasts me at least 2 meals. The bread they include is also great! I like to dip it in the sauce. The past time I got Dino's I accidentally ordered spinach ravioli instead of tortellini...that was my bad. HOWEVER I think I might have found my new favorite? The raviolis are huge and so fat. I'm talking like 1/2 inch - 3/4 inch thick. There is so much stuffing and the spinach ricotta mix tastes so fresh and delicious...it's a must try. I've also gotten the eggplant parm before, and the fettuccini Alfredo. Both were also delicious. I'm a huge breakfast fanatic, especially a good breakfast sandwich or burrito. This is the original location that was started by two friends and has grown to multiple other locations since. We took an Uber here from our hotel. I imagine if you drive over here, parking will be a challenge. It's almost easy to miss. It sits on a corner of a brick building with just writing on the windows. In all my research I did not catch that it is the smallest restaurant in Boston at only 175 square feet. It's basically a room with most of the space taken by the tiny kitchen. There's also a little tiny ledge on the window with a couple of stools for those who may want to dine in. Customers including us took turns walking in and putting in our orders and then stepping out to make room for more people. It had a steady line the whole time we were there. Hours are limited from 7:30-2 so don't delay. Customer service was straight business, kind of the norm in Boston. Their menu is breakfast sandwiches, a couple of burritos and some lunch options like a turkey sandwich, BLT, or a Rueben. For sides, they have hashbrowns or a plain English muffin. For a small menu, they do have quite a few drink options like coffee, tea, juices, and different flavored milks including banana milk which I have never seen. For their food, they use high quality ingredients from local farms and purveyors and have their own bakery for their bread. My eyes fixated on the Breakfast Grilled Crack mainly for the name, but also all the ingredients looked tasty. It was quality eggs, bacon, four cheeses on sourdough bread. I went extra and added sausage to it as well. I also got OJ to wash it down. We realized our only option to eat comfortably was to go back to our hotel lobby to eat. Even with the travel time, the sandwich was nice and warm and the bread was still nice and crispy from the griddle. This sandwich was indeed one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I almost felt guilty eating it because of how rich and cheesy it was. I would skip the hash brown next time. It did not travel well nor did it have anything special going on with it. Hands down one of my favorite meals of the trip that I would absolutely do again if I am in the area.

My pal ordered their spin on a Cuban and swapped out the chips for the dill pasta side. He loved it so much that it was gone on minutes. Being a fan of ground meats, I opted for the Hajj, a ground lamb, tzatziki, Mediterranean style sandwich. It was well flavored and large, and came with a side salad. I shared the sandwich with my friend, but agreed that his crispy Cuban was a bit tastier. We ended the evening with a bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream to share. Massive portions! We both enjoyed to our hearts' delight, and the one dessert could have easily been shared with a third person. Our wait staff was so pleasant- friendly and warm from the start. They really made this experience shine! This is quite a pricy spot in the heart of Boston, so be prepared to pay a pretty penny for sandwiches. However, the elegance of the food is up there and it's a unique experience to pick a meal from a handful of the top chefs.
