Vegans, don't eat here!!!!!! Wish I could give zero stars! I am a strict vegan and went bc they claimed to have vegan donuts! First time I went I asked which donuts were vegan, I was told the entire bottom rack was vegan. I chose a blueberry donut and asked again if it was vegan and the woman stated "yes, all the donuts on the bottom are vegan." Which made sense to me because they only had one sign at the bottom which stated "vegan." Fast forward to today I go back to get another "vegan donut" and I'm told by a worker "the bottom row is all vegan." She then said "Wait, let me ask to be sure." She then asked another woman who said "only the plain donuts on the bottom row are vegan." I asked the second woman if the blueberry (which I tried last time) were vegan and she said "no, I make them, they are not vegan." I told her they sold me the blueberry donut last time and told me it was vegan, she proceeded to laugh and say "Well it's not vegan." I was so pissed! And her laughing made me outright furious! It really upsets me because they are probably ignorant and don't even know what vegan means anyway! Their "vegan donut" probably has dairy! Again, If you are vegan, don't eat here!!!!!!!! read more

I have my doubts about their Vegan donuts being Vegan. Plus they have them close to the regular donuts and last time I came the lady gave me a non vegan donut mixed with the vegan. This is NOT food for somebody with severe allergies so I will not be coming here again. read more

I visited this place about two weeks ago, expecting to try out their specialty donuts I've read so many reviews about. I didn't see any vegan donuts for sale, and the bacon donuts weren't appealing. I bought a couple custard and jelly filled donuts. They tasted good, but not outstanding. The crew is very generous, and they seem well known by the customers going in and out. I'd return again for the outstanding service, and hope to try some specialty donuts soon. read more

I've never been to this shop but a co-worker of mine brings these donuts in sometimes and WOWSAH - I have never eaten such a good donut. In fact, I don't even like donuts - but I like these. What I like about them is that they aren't too heavy and aren't all that sweet. They're fluffy, fresh, and they melt in your mouth. I find myself hoping every week that he will bring in a box to share with everyone. I just had to write a review of these donuts because I've never tasted anything like them. As a vegan, I was really happy to discover a place that isn't so far from where I live that has vegan donuts. I love my sweets and I especially love donuts. Hmmm... came here because of the previous phenomenal 5-star reviews but now that I notice, they are all from 2012 or earlier. Because of that, I had very high expectations. When I came on a random Sunday recently, the selection was so-so, but the donuts that were there looked good. (Nothing was super gorgeous.) If I recall correctly, I opted for my standard maple bar, and my wife had her standard chocolate bar. Our verdict? Good donuts! But nothing mind-blowing. The price itself didn't represent such a good value. Service was okay. Solid 3-stars from me for a decent local donut shop. I would not personally dub this a donut destination. read more

I'm a regular. Me and my black friend used to rush over to the Donut Shop to go get some boba. The owners know us and always put on a smile when we do visit. It's virtually the only place you can get boba in Carson. They make the best boba drinks in the world. The drinks are not too liquidy but more icy. But it tastes so much better like that! At $2.99 for boba, with no additional charge for the boba itself, it's a steal! However, recently they hired new workers that don't make the boba as well as the original owners. I was very excited about eating at this donut shop until I was sitting and enjoying my sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwich when I watched the woman working as she dropped a donut on the ground, pick it up, hesitate for a second before slyly putting it back on the serving shelf. This place offers customer disservice at its worst!!!! I have ordered blended Thai ice tea with almond milk several times in person so I decided to try it online through DoorDash. When I arrived at the place of course they had not received my order because they don't even bother to look at the tablet which they retrieved from under a counter when I am standing there asking for my pickup!!!! Long story short, after they tell me they don't have almond milk because it is for an employee they put the almond milk back in the refrigerator. Employees first right!
