The food was typical Boston Market fare. Tasted good, but nothing terribly exciting. We ordered a Family Meal to eat in, but they were out of regular dishes and silverware, so we had to use the disposable tableware. There was no garbage pail, so we had to leave our table to be bussed by an employee. Unfortunately, tables weren't being bussed as quickly as they should be, so it was a challenge to find a clean table. The outside temperature was somewhat cold, and so was the restaurant. We had to leave our winter coats on while we were eating! I don't think I would return to this restaurant, as it was just too cold for comfort! read more

I guess Boston Market will be going the way of the slide rule and 8 track tape players. I think their business model demands more help per customer than other options. Just a few years ago I would eat there once or twice a week but Covid really kicked their butt and they haven't recovered. This particular location is closest to my house , waits became steadily longer, food steadily worse. They should just close it, it's obvious they no longer can afford to maintain the property. Lawn has been unmowed for months. I started to go to the Orange location which had always been better and it was but sadly now even that location is unacceptable. I stopped here the other day in need of a quick lunch while running an errand in Milford. As soon as I walked in, I already felt at home. Kevin, who was behind the counter, gave me a warm greeting right when I entered the establishment and took the time to diligently explain some of the menu items to me when I asked. I ended up ordering the small rotisserie chicken nuggets combo with a side of mashed potatoes and a Diet Coke. He swiftly began preparing my order and took no time at all to ring me up. Within minutes, I had my food in my hands. On top of all that, the place was spotless. Totally the most clean, best looking Boston Market I had ever seen. Kevin Wheeler did so great, I even asked for his full name so I could thank him adequately in my review. I genuinely think it was the best customer service experience I have ever had. This location has seriously gone downhill. I ordered a market bowl. The chicken was dry and the gravy lacked any flavor whatsoever. Despite ordering a market bowl I had to ask for a spoon (though I had requested appropriate utensils when I rang out). I went looking fir salt and pepper to season my flavorless and dry bowl and they seem to have done away with these as well. Terrible experience. read more

I used to come to this restaurant all the time and i loved it. I was so disappointed with my trip to this location. First the good stuff: the staff is really sweet and the food was hot and the place seems clean although somewhat rundown. The soda machine was out of order and I had to pay 2.99 for what they called a 20oz coke but was actually a 16oz. The brownies got smaller and I'm not sure if it was fully cooked. there's no plates or metal utensils for dining in anymore. The plastic utensils were the tiny white ones that snap if press too hard (ask me how I know that). And a meal for one cost me 21 bucks. I don't think I'll go back. It's really too bad. read more

I'm truly not sure what is wrong with the staff of this restaurant. There were four people working and zero people in line and yet they somehow were still unable to make our two orders correctly. My friend and I each ordered a market bowl. The person making the bowl literally read the ingredients off of the menu and still was somehow unable to accurately combine them in a plastic bowl. After getting assistance from two other employees we were finally rung up. They didn't manage to give my friend the brownie she ordered. It also took two employees to manage to find plastic cutlery and they put the wrong sauce on my bowl but at least we got to leave. read more

I love their chicken pot pies, and tonight's was very good. Sometimes they're mostly meat, but this one had plenty of veg. The four stars and not five, is because I often order a side of steamed vegetables, and it's usually a mix of carrots, two types of squash, and broccoli. I mention that I'm not a fan of broccoli, and can they go light on that, and they do, but the rest are sliced and steamed nicely. What I got tonight, were carrots, and huge, hard, undercooked chunks of zucchini! At least the pot pie was good. read more

This place has gone so downhill. $33 yesterday for two meals and a kids meal and it was horrible food. Dry chicken. I used to love the place. But it went down hill, not the food per se but the staff is not really very attentive and the people working don't look like they want to work there. Half the time there out of what I want. with that said, today in particular I was craving a salad so I went there, I got a house salad. I got home to find out they gave me no dressing and everything looked like it was just thrown into a box, the cheese look like it just had been torn into pieces and just thrown on and so did the chicken. All and all I was not very satisfied with the service or the salad. I think Boston market needs new management and they need to be more attentive to customers. read more

I was so Unpleased with the customer service and the manager on shift that I spoke with the other day. I ordered a whole rotisserie chicken to the wrong location and within seconds I realized and called immediately to cancel my order. This location was 45 minutes from my home. When I called, the staff was very reluctant to cancel my order and said they weren't going to refund me. They also told me they couldn't refund my online order and if I wanted my refund, I'd have to drive to them to get cash. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said the same thing. I thought this was a very bizarre experience for a chain restaurant that I've been going to for years. Will not be back! read more

Okay food. But the service SUCKS! When you go through the drive thru, not only you aren't greeted, but there's no Communication at all!! The old bald guy looked miserable lol. I ordered the family meal, ordered extra corn bread. They forgot my corn bread.... and they weren't even busy. So someone can't read, no wonder they work at a fast food. Met up with a friend of mine that wanted to come eat here. Place was clean. The manager was behind the counter very friendly. I had half of a chicken that was good. It wasn't dry but juicy. The sides are a nice touch. the potatoes and mixed veggies I chose were very good. There are plenty of sides to choose from. My only compliant is the menu does not have a large selection. There are no pictures. Visually seeing what I am going to eat appeals better in my opinion Look at McDonald's, Burger King even KFC or Poppies chicken, every meal has a picture. But this is a corporate issue not this particular restaurant. This place is not somewhere I could eat often but once in a while its pretty good. read more

My family used to love Boston Market; it was a treat to go there. Not anymore. The last four times have all been disappointing. None of us intend to go any longer. None of the regulars who used to work there are still around, but the mediocre service isn't enough to keep us away; it's the subpar food. Boston Market used to be exceptional. Ok new food product here - the Brussel Sprouts with Bacon !!!!!!! - which gets advertised like crazy. So I wanted some - came here and there were 3 PIECES of Brussel Sprout !! Asked if they were coming out with more. - 25 minutes !!!! I went at 12 noon - it's lunch time folks !!! Get your food prepared and have it ready especially if you're promoting the heck out of it. Love their meat loaf when you can get. Service is terrible. Ordered online, they called 5 minutes before I got to tell me they had no meatloaf. They then asked me if I would willing to wait 50 minutes. I told no just give me the turkey I had ordered with the meatloaf. Got to the store and they had packed my order with a chicken instead of meatloaf. I had no intention of waiting another twenty minutes for them to re-ring my order. I would not write a bad review after one negative experience, but I've come here maybe four times in the past year and a half and each time it's ended bad. Tonight I came here with my boyfriend and aunt for a quick drive thru meal, it was about 6, and I was too tired to cook, and Boston beats McDonald's. After ordering, and waiting 5 minutes at the drive thru, an employee comes to tell us they do not have enough brisket for a sandwich, and the brisket dinner, I said fine I'll have the chicken instead. So they take about another five minutes, and give us the food. And i have to ask about the price difference, which is over 2.50, she has to get her manager.....another almost 5 minutes. She puts the money back on the card and then charges for the chicken. We check the bag, no gravy, and no dip for the brisket dip carver. So we wait again while they get that. We drive off. We get home and we are missing a side of potatoes, which we were charged for. Now we only order a sandwich, and two dinners. So I'm less then happy. i can write another three paragraphs about my experiences here, but i won't waste my time. read more

Went here on a whim, I'm not eating meat so I just got 3 sides and cornbread. I chose stuffing, sweet potatoes, and creamed spinach. We didn't eat in, so I was able to eat it quickly while I waited on the train. This is a clean and nice establishment and they will give you what you want. Check it out...I'm glad I did. read more

This ain't gourmet. Its just chicken and some other options with sides. But a decent price for a decent meal. A step up from a real fast food place, with a decent seating area, clean bathrooms, EZ parking, nightmare access and exit from the Post Road (use the back exit/entrance). Their sides can be weird and uninviting, but their chicken is decent. Employees are sometimes not on the ball and need to be instructed on what you want...ie gravy on whatever you put gravy on. Last trip got the cobb salad with their chicken, which was still warm. Decent for $10. They keep on advertising the prime rib (can it be they make more money on it??), even though this ain't the type of place I would buy something like that there. Who picks it out? Corporate? Exactly 2.7 ounces? The only problem with the seating area is down below, where some rocket scientist set up the outside garden lights that are kinda blinding on the inside. Duh.
