I wasn't sure when I saw all the five star reviews whether it would be as good as a sad. But it was excellent. I had the strawberry feta salad with blackened chicken. When I'm in the area, I will definitely come and have dinner here again. Dinner was so good. I came back for breakfast. They have three places to dine the restaurant, the bar and the market. The market is where I'm getting breakfast. Ham and cheese croissant is very fresh and flaky. The chocolate croissant is equally as good, maybe a little better because it has chocolate. Came here for coffee only. I got an americano and it was really good. All the staff here a super friendly and helpful. Sat in the beer garden and drank it with wife. Very cool spot. For coffee alone I have to say nothing really comes close. You can sit outside covered or in sun or inside or out in the beer garden. Everything is very nice and well done. Can't say enough good things about Botanic. You know it's different the moment you arrive. Beautifully designed. So much to take in. Seems like a small village with the lay out. Interior decorating is warm and welcoming. Outdoor patios, greenhouse, gifts, home goods, The Grille restaurant, bourbon bar (not just bourbon, very helpful team of people. We loved it and will be back again and again. The bread was amazing! No kidding....amazing. The oysters were perfectly prepared. We spent 6 hours at Botanic on our first visit. I can't say enough great things about this place! The Auburn area has been lacking in plant nursery locations for as long as I've lived here. They have a wide variety of houseplants, both common and rare, and the prices are super reasonable! All of the plants I've gotten from here have been healthy and pest free. They have a cafe with great coffee and pastries. There are a few tables inside and free wifi if you want to get some work done. I hope to eat at the Garden Grille soon! read more

Amazing! First, you enter into an indoor garden, tulips in bloom and a little waterfall. Our table wasn't quite ready so we had an opportunity to enjoy their bar. The bartenders are top notch, professional bartenders. Our drinks were perfect and the intimate setting was so nice after a long week. We were even more impressed with our dinner seating. The ambiance, fireplace, and decor makes you feel at home. The place was packed but you would not know, as the noise level was so well controlled. There was a man playing saxophone when we arrived and they had him in the foyer so that you could hear him but the sound was delightful background noise rather than the overpowering you experience at many other local restaurants that attempt the same. We both enjoyed the bread immensely, probably too much, I didn't have much room for my meal! We had the pork ends appetizer and it is a "must have". He had the lobster and grits dish and I had the maple chicken. Both were perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. The dessert menu is wonderful and we were sad that we didn't have room to sample! We will most certainly make time to come for an after dinner drink and dessert soon! I highly recommend you make a reservation and try this new local restaurant. It's perfect for celebrating or enjoying a nice date night. We are already looking forward to coming back! I have to say that our server Levi was amazing! So fun to talk to and very professional and knowledgeable. A delicious meal for everyone at the table!! That in itself is high praise since usually there is "that person". Personally, I had the grilled chicken with rice and vegetables with a bordelaise sauce. Grilled chicken is grilled chicken. The chicken should NOT be the headline of this dish. The vegetables (brussel sprouts, sweet potato, peppers etc) and conecuh sausage over the fried wild rice? One of the top 5 dishes I have had in Opelika since birth!!! Skip the chicken cutlet and bathe the rice and veggies in extra bordelaise sauce---a nap will be in order. read more

The service and food was great.... but... as we walked in, there was a small round cage with rabbits in it. It was located under the a covering, it was 90 degrees that day. The rabbits were setting on the asphalt. The mother rabbit was shaking and panting heavily. There was no one around taking care of these babies. I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to have pets in that environment. Please do better. read more

The bread and butter set the tone of the meal to begin with. It was delicious!! We followed that with an amazing caprese- literally the best tomatoes we've ever had!!!! Such an amazing mocktail was served! On a hunch, I tried out the yellow tomato B8 mix which was prepared with a bit of peach syrup. I opted out of the touch of jalapeño due to my intolerance of spices, but probably should have given it a try. Our menu items consisted of all apps with potato leek soup, brussels sprouts, pimento cheese, and eggplant. It was more than enough for 2 hungry foodies. Presentation of food was on point and serving sizes were ample. One critique is to rethink bar stools or hook a sister up with booster seats. When the general manager on 6/21/25, aka probably a relative, came up to our table and said to three women, " I realize that you are solving the world's problems, but we really need this table for other reservations." I was extremely disappointed at this. When I tried to address the issue he was extremely condescending and rude. We were celebrating birthdays and so excited to be here. This is my second review of Botanic and I am glad to say this is now an easy 5 star. In the last review there were problems with the food but that has certainly been solved. First, let me commend the reservation process. We initially had a party of 12 and Sherry worked hard to get us in with that group and was very helpful as our party gradually became 8. Our visit on a Tuesday was a day of lower volume so that we were able to throughly enjoy the setting. All 8 enjoyed their well made cocktail or beverage in the bar before our seating. Our service was prompt and very personable with capable AU students working as servers. As stated in my past review, the setting is beautiful and was aided by the ability to open windows and enjoy fresh air in our dining area. Our appitizers were tasty and interesting. 3 of our party had the halibut special and gave high marks. The servings were so gernerous that 2 had lunch for the next day. I had an excellently prepared trout. The chicken dish was judged excellent by my fellow diner. Finally, one diner wanted only vegatables and the staff constructed an "off the menu" vegtable plate for her from her requests. We were all too full for deserts but did look at the menu which is a bit heavy on the cheesecake choices in my opinion. We drove the 50 minutes for Montgomery to dine here and we will certainly do so again. read more

The ambiance and attention to details are superb. From the amazing brioche, to the Nashville hot style fried oysters and the lobster and grits, every dish was both inventive and delicious! The smoked old fashioned is unique with the smoke coming from the ice cube- it get smokier as the ice cube dilutes in the cocktail. This business model is also interesting, as there is a garden store, coffeshop and other models on property. They pick the herbs from the garden that they add to the dishes. They are also intensely focused on hyper local cuisine. All these elements add up to a phenomenal experience that you should not miss. read more

I had been to Botanic several times for lunch and it's one of my favorite places for lunch. My family choose to go to Botanic for their brunch on April 27th. We really enjoyed everything about the meal, the food was great with an offering for all of our different taste. Everything I tried was very good and all of our plates were completely cleaned. Our server was outstanding and offered her take on several items which we were pleased with. And of course the floral displays were beautiful and the atmosphere was inviting. Have been looking forward to dining at Botanic for months. I am sad to say it was disappointing. The venue is beautifully done, but our service was poor at best and the food underwhelming. A party of 4, our cocktails came 2 at a time, 10 minutes apart. The first entree was delivered by itself and was lukewarm. The next two meals were served , and one of us still had not been served. Someone came and apologized before the fourth meal was ever served and offered a free dessert. It has such possibility and it may just have been a bad night. We will probably try it again. read more

Phenomenal. We went there celebrating my daughter's graduation from Auburn U and my wife's birthday. We called 30 min early and got lucky. They were able to get us in. We went with no expectations and were blown away. They greeted us at the door with huge smiles. It is a Farm to Fork style restaurant in a gorgeous facility sitting on a lake. Our server Allyson was as sweet as could be. The food was incredible. We got the Ribeye, 2 Filets, and the Pork Chop. Mouth watering. I MEAN Drooling! Tempo was great, and everything was smooth. Specialty drinks included "Graduation Time" and "Off the Payroll." In the 30 min between our call and our arrival, they printed a special menu. See attached.
