If you've been treating your body badly (and it's easy to do that in New Orleans where temptations abound), Botanicals Nola is a very nice place to visit for a reboot. My littles get up early as it is, but with the added factor of jetlag, one kiddo woke up at 6 a.m. almost every day of our New Orleans visit, no matter how late she stayed up. We spent a lot of time wandering Marigny in the early hours, encountering some of the nicest, most polite unhomed people I've ever met, and tracking down just about every establishment that opened its doors before 10 a.m. Despite what it says, St. Roch market doesn't really open at 7 a.m. Maybe the big front doors are unlocked then, but there's no sign of life at any of the businesses within until much later. After stopping by at 7:15 a.m. and then 8:15 a.m. on a weekday morning, we gave up. The kind Jehovah's Witnesses having a sit-down in the quiet market suggested that we try next door at Botanicals instead. It was a great suggestion. Fruit and sea moss rich drinks and dishes abound, and I believe the entire menu is vegan. They have vegan waffles on offer, avocado toast, açaí bowls. We chose the açaí bowl with three different fruit toppings. The creamy, frozen, pureed açaí was sorbet-like -- perfect in the warm, humid weather -- and fruit toppings were fresh and sweet. The young woman who was working at the counter was quite courteous -- far nicer than I usually am that early. Best of all in this pretty, Instagram-ready space: even the bathrooms were sparkling clean. Absolute win!

Service 10/10 as always. I've been a customer since their previous location and I love that this one is more spacious and chill... parking in front of the establishment or on the corners. I even went across the street & got a turkey Sandwhich from the market. I recommend the sea moss gel capsules. The gel is great but I can't swallow it without gagging. So if you're like me the capsules would be awesome for you. Great food & smoothies. My favorite is the "yah heard me". They also have a loyalty program which I love.

We got this as a pregame snack/meal traveling to New Orleans with SMU Volleyball and it was amazing. I had the peanut butter toast and the Blue Orleans. The toast was insanely good, topped with sliced banana, peanut butter, vegan chocolate chips, agave, and chia seeds. The toast had a nice crunch and the agave really added a nice sweetness to balance out the saltiness of the PB. The Blue Orleans was also delicious, super solid blue color with a nice sweetness, had coconut water, almond milk, banana, blue spirulina, and sea moss. Plenty of great options to choose from here the menu was unique, would definitely come back. Didn't go inside so can't speak to the interior but the to-go service was great.

Great vegan/healthy eatery. They have everything from smoothies, smoothie bowls, coffee, sea moss, vegan cupcakes and much more. This place has great customer service and the perfect ambiance to enjoy your treats, indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I have tried all the smoothie bowls but my favorite one is Dat Fiya Pitaya (pitaya, banana, pineapple, almond milk, seas moss complete with whatever toppings I pick). This is a a great place and I love that it's black owned! Great location a NOLA must try. Also, love that they have a point reward system.

Zuri and staff here are knowledgeable and kind. They got me and my gut all fixed up after having a slight imbalance. I highly recommend this place for everyone that want good quality food, smoothies, and açaí bowls

Sooo yummy! The "açaí you bowl" was refreshing and filling. The avocado toast was scrumptious. Inside is beautiful as well. Great, friendly service, and I was so happy I made it in time for the Monday sea moss deal

Soooooo FREAKING good!! I came across their IG page and made it my business to go this past weekend! I ordered Dat Fiya Pitaya - a bomb choice! It's made with Pitaya, pineapple, bananas, almond milk, sea moss and granola on top. You can choose 3 topping to to tip it with. I chose strawberry, coconut flakes and peanut butter! Y'all it's a really nice size portion for $12 bucks! I tasted my friends smoothie that she ordered, which was The NOLA shake and it was amazing! I almost drank half of her smoothie! Lol! Definitely going back again and again!

I've been wanting to try this place for a minute and I'm glad I finally did. I came with my niece who also enjoys a good smoothie bowl. When we walked in it was very modern and there were live plants everywhere. While I'm like I was just admiring how great their plants look and getting some ideas for plant stands lol. The names for the items on the menu are cute. Very New Orleans. If you know you know. My niece and I both got "Dat Fiya Pitaya" bowl. She said she wanted a tropical vibe so she ordered hers with strawberries, blueberries, and kiwis. I got mine with strawberries, almond butter. And vegan chocolate chips. We were going to take it to go but it was a really nice day out and we spotted the order dining area. So we sat and enjoyed the New Orleans fall day. Our smoothie bowls were soooo good. They are also very filling. We'll be back!

Okay. I really do love this spot-- but as of lately, every time I've visited it's been a wait. I don't too much mind as I understand there are online orders; however, today was a bit ridiculous. Walked in to get a smoothie and purchased a few more items. I end up requesting a refund for my smoothie (after waiting twenty minutes) which never came out, on the other hand, my friend who ordered their smoothie did come out and we ordered at the same exact time!! After placing our orders, we even decided to walk across the street to St Roch to past some time since as I mentioned earlier-- service has been slow lately. For us to come back and my order not be ready was wild. There were only two people working so maybe that has something to do w|, the experience wasn't pleasant today at all

    - the restaurant is on the corner of St Claude and Pauline, in a house. There's a sign hanging from the banister but I missed it the first time I drove by - At 11am, two people were working. I was the only one in the restaurant. The ordering process was quick and smooth. There was a short wait for my food as a couple call-in orders were ahead of me - lunch crowd started coming in 10 mins later, and there line formed fairly quickly - I ordered the vegan Belgian waffle (topped with toasted pecans and bananas, and side of maple syrup); and the Beaucoup berries smoothie - waffle was crisp and soft. Toppings were plentiful. There were two containers of maple syrup; I only used half of one. It tasted just as I expect a waffle to taste. - smoothie was flavorful with just the right degree of cold and consistency - clean dining area, with a couple 2-person tables, and a high top table with 5 barstools for individual seating. - good experience overall. I will recommend the place, and return myself

I absolutely loved the cleanliness, welcoming vibe and decor of this place. The smoothies were soo fresh, well balanced in flavor and the cute names were a nice touch as well. We had the Beaucoup Berries and Yeah with the Yeah. I also tried the avocado toast which was DELICIOUS and freshly made. I loved hearing the cashiers New Orleans accent repeating our order back. The door kept opening and I see why they have regulars and new customers. This place was amazing.

Great service , from the moment you walk in.. the gentleman was very helpful in my questions ... I got the bowl and a smoothie ... the ambiance and the vibe is welcoming. Will definitely be back

Welcoming and chill environment, with nice music playing at a conversational level.

The stories about the line are true: it was mid morning on a Sunday, and there was definitely a line, but we put in for a table for three and were seated within 20 minutes. First up was a bloody mary, the canonical brunch beverage, and it was a winner. Dressed with some nice veggies in handled jar, it was delicious and refreshing. As for the food, I was torn between a couple of the benedicts, so I ended up combining and getting crab cake and andouille sausage, both on the same croissant. It was delicious if a bit much; I ended up taking half to go. The crab cake was substantial in size, with a good crab to cake ratio, and the sauce which was touted to be excellent, certainly was. This was a very tasty breakfast. The decor was very cute and bright, and our server had a great smile and proper NOLA accent, tending to all of our needs with aplomb. It was a great experience, and one I'd do again for sure.
