First time here after they rebranded last year. Got one app and two entrées and we enjoyed each dish. Got the meatballs, the spicy rigatoni à la vodka, and chicken marsala. The food came quickly and the portions were good. Prices were standard Manhattan prices, not necessarily Astoria prices. Came knowing what to expect and left satisfied. I would've been happier if there was (free) bread.

Average at best and I've written hundreds of unbiased reviews so I really don't wish to get into all the details. I can honestly say service is far and above better than their food. If you wish to hang and have a casual drink with conversation, this is a good spot. Anyone thinking of dining... well don't say I didn't warn you. My review is based on a Saturday night 8 PM experience and the restaurant was a quarter full. It's gotta be for a good reason.

    "Foccacia"

This place can be good, which makes this review painful to write. Too many times I've come just to be disappointed by everything from food to service. It's not even 25% full so I have no clue how the staff can't handle multiple tables. The food can be great, but usually it's ok to subpar. I won't be coming back and trying again after they call crackers foccacia and served over cooked pasta. Also, don't sit at the bar unless you know the bartenders because you'll be ignored. Be prepared to watch as the bartenders pay attention to other people 4 ft away from you all night. My previous review was 4 stars, no clue why they decided to change up such a good thing. Crackers are not focaccia. But sadly even if they brought back the old focaccia they'd still have the same staff and hit or miss pasta.

First off welcome to Ditmars Blvd! This Italian spot is just what this strip needed. We came here last Friday night. I suggest you make a reservation through open table though because it was pretty packed even though it was raining cat and dogs. We had the best table at the entrance; a booth. Our server Carlos was so attentive, we started off with drinks and polpette della nonna (meatballs). They were delicious and our drinks; the slowpoke and made ya blush hit the spot. The drinks were so good, we had two rounds. For the entree, we shared our pasta dishes; spaghetti alla carbonara and fettuccine alla bolognese. They were both good sizes, the carbonara was better as the bolognese one needed salt. We would definitely be back to try other pasta dishes. To end our night, we got dessert. My best friend got the panna cotta and a crème brûlée. They were both so sweet and were the icing on the cake. This new Italian spot is good and we know will definitely do well on this strip. See you soon Botte! Thank you for having us. This place deserves this five star review.

Piece of olive bread for the table in what I believe was a sun dried tomato sauce

I have been to Botte on Broadway and had great experiences. Decided to try the Ditmars location as it's closer to me. Beautiful restaurant. Nice and stylish decor. Comfortable seating. Our server, whose name escapes me unfortunately, was outstanding. Kudos to him! We started with what I believe was a black olive focaccia basket for the table. It came with the most delicious sundried tomato sauce. At least that's the flavor I got from it. We all loved it. He offered another basket full but we declined so as not to get full off of bread. We started with calamari and Zucchini fritti, which in and of itself was a nicely sized portion and a delicious creamy burrata. Very tasty and just enough to wet our appetites for the main entree. I got the avocado kale salad with chicken that was deliciously juicy and grilled to perfection. The salad contained fried artichokes which I had never had before. Mama Mia, I need more of that in my life! SO, SO, SO GOOD! The Margherita pizza was delicious. What can you say when it comes to pizza? Very good. Came piping hot. Drinks were delicious. Considering it was a Friday night, we made reservations. Glad we did because we got there and only one table was occupied. When we left, every single table was taken. A nice date night spot, for sure.

We have been to the other location for happy hour and we came here for dinner. They have a selection of Negronis and I opted for the blood orange which was delicious. They have 10 dollar negronis on Tuesday and half off wine bottles on Mondays. Service was excellent. When they came to change our plates they gave us napkins to put our silverware on which was very thoughtful. Food was also excellent. The margerita pizza was perfect. We also had the calamari which had fried zucchini which I love. I cant wait to try more.

The inside decor and lighting is so inviting... And so is the cocktail menu ! I had to try the Made Ya Blush because of my love of Prosecco. It was so good I had two - such a refreshing signature cocktail. Foodwise , started with the Ricotta Mantecata - garlic bread served with honey and whipped Ricotta - perfect for a starter . I had the Fettucine Al Ragu Bianco , very light on flavor and good pasta choice. I topped it off with the Nutella tart - it is so worth the calories . The service was impressive and the bartender sure knows how to shake and make a cocktail. All around great experience - always glad to see an awesome restaurant on Ditmars Boulevard restaurant row .

Starting off with three stars. Ordered the ricotta mantecata and while it was delicious, two small pieces of bread was far too little for the abundance of ricotta they served. Just simply two more slices of bread would have made all the difference. So, that could be a win, but ultimately was just so-so. We each had a spritz - aperol and limoncello - both good but went down too quickly (because they were tiny). So we moved onto Negronis. I opted for the white Negroni while he opted for the Blood Orange. They came in fairly small glasses but our kind bartender informed us that the ice wouldn't melt as fast so that was a plus. Intimate, cute setting with bar seating and plentiful outdoor seating as well. Definitely a place you can people watch, For dinner, we had the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta dish which was amazing. They ran out of pizza so nothing to try there. Overall thoughts? The drinks, in my opinion, were just too small for the cost (it was a tiny $14 Aperol Spritz they were serving and I'm used to huge glasses for that hefty price). When the bill came, we were charged for an extra drink, so we did have to get that corrected. So I guess I would recommend reading over your check carefully before you tap your card on the reader they hand you. Food could be win, but since we only have the pasta dish as a win, I can't say for sure just yet. I guess we will have to return to see if it's worth it once they've settled in.

Love the ambiance of the inside with their rich burgandy colors and soft lighting...definitely romantic and could totally see this as a great date night spot. Tons of cocktail and bonus mocktail options which is always a nice addition. The host was welcoming, our service was attentive. We came during restaurant week...got calamari, the whipped ricotta, the branzino fillet, alla vodka pasta, and tiramisu and a cheesecake. Food was very tasty. My only complaint was the portion size..it just seemed a little too small..not sure if it was the restaurant week portion or just their actual sizes but just felt like they could have given a little more...but isn't this always the case in NY lol

This is a great happy hour spot in the neighborhood. Pricing is awesome, drink selection is great and the food is good. After a few hours outside sharing multiple apps (3) and cocktails (8+) we only spent 120 due to their happy hour specials. That's almost unheard of in 2025. While the food isn't spectacular and is just good in my opinion, I would definitely return with friends to enjoy the happy hour specials.

Friendly staff, nice looking restaurant very clean big. The food was OK. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara and it had way too much sauce. We started with the fried burrata and it was fine nothing special. The same thing with chicken parm dish. Ok food if your in the mood for some pasta but personally would not return.

Randomly found this gem in Queens and I was shocked I didn't hear of this restaurant sooner. Food: we ordered the rigatoni alla vodka picante with chicken. I think that this was probably the best chicken pasta I've had. The rigatoni was well done and it's not spicy at all even though the waiter said it'll be spicy. It was just perfect. I also got the Mango Botte Mule which was really nice. We were seated by the windows on a nice warm evening so the vibes were perfect. They had nice music playing and the waiter was friendly and very informative. Will definitely go back to try more dishes and introduce the restaurant to more friends!

The place is pretty large despite it looking somewhat narrow outside but there's a lot of seating inside as well as some seating outside in the case the place gets crowded, fortunately I didn't have to worry about that. Credit to the service, two waitresses went above and beyond their duty to made sure I had a satisfactory time at their Restaurant and I will always give credit where it's due to the wait staff doing a solid job. Even though I'm giving this place a 5 star rating, there were two small grievances. I did have to wait for some time for my food to get to my plate, like an almost 15 minute wait, but for what it's worth, the food was solid. The other one, which was a small annoyance was that the empanadas I ordered along with the Pollo A La Brasa were forgotten and if I hadn't brought that to the waitresses attention, I would've went without my appetizers. They did make it up by giving me a complimentary margarita. I do appreciate the gesture, but I'm not a strong drinker, I'm a lightweight and after one sip of that, it was powerful enough to almost knock me out. I tried to endure it but I only finished half of that before giving up. Despite that, just the show of them caring for the customer is enough for me to know that they value their patrons here. That's more than enough for me. I like the vibe of the place, it has a Latin fusion feel but majority of their food is affordable. I'd make a 2nd visit here in due time.

Our group came here to celebrate a happy occasion with such good vibes, so the vibes were definitely off the charts. The little "dance floor" they carved out in the middle barely suffices as one, but I guess they really made do with what they had. They definitely try to overpack this place to the max. Food was amazing, though. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share, like the yuca corquettes (probably my favorite), coconut shrimp, shrimp ceviche, guac, and the tostones rellones. They were all so, so good and not overly expensive, that we made another order of everything. My drink (Mori Sanado) was very good and came with a cute fish-shaped glass. It's an overstimulating place, to say the least, so I'd mentally prepare for that alone. Since we came on a Saturday night, it was expected that it was a party vibe but I expect it's the same during brunch. You really do have to come with good company to be able to slightly enjoy this place. I wouldn't come here with people that I expect to have a conversation with, because you really can't hear anything.
