We live 3 minutes away from this store. The prices are 30% higher than competition. But the convince is(was) worth it. Went in for my usual buy(not cheap) and the shelf was empty. I purchased something else and was told that because of the holiday it would be a few days until they got an order. Ok. Went in again, about a week later and still empty. I was upset and expressed my view. And would never be back. Get this, he said I don't blame you. What???? I will never be back and tell my neighbors not to go. My husband walked in today to buy liquor for a party this holiday weekend just to be told I can't bring my purse in. I said "what! , my purse has my wallet in it and my phone. So no thank you and walked out. How dare they not allow women not to bring there purse in this a part of our ensemble. Terrible customer service. Every time I've been here there is a problem with their register. I've also been rudely yelled at to not bring in my purse. Then the employee was unable to answer questions and had to call their boss to approve a debit card purchase of $60. Absolutely ridiculous and will not be back. read more

Just encountered the new "No purse, no handbag, no exception" policy. I'm a middle aged professional who has been shopping there for years and was shocked by this new policy and the rude treatment of their customers. Not only did I not enter, I won't be back. These people DO NOT belong in a customer based Business and I will NEVER return!! You are not allowed to bring your purse in!! Mine holds my cash to purchase items, so really??!!?? After giving my purse to a friend to hold while I went to pick out my item...I needed help from the person who was working. BUT NAY NAY...He was NOT ALLOWED TO HELP ME! He was not allowed to leave the front counter. That's when I decided to leave & spend my money elsewhere!! By the way...this was a Saturday night at 7:00 with an empty parking lot and not a single other customer in the store! Imagine that!!! Why anyone would support this treatment is beyond me!! I believe in the past (over a year ago) that a couple of kids stole a couple of bottles of alcohol from them but grow up people. If you want to run a successful business, you can not treat people like criminals and expect them to come back! I'm a current customer. Was thoroughly disappointed and outraged by their current practice of placing "top shelf" and somewhat hard to find liquors in a display cabinet by the cash register. They are looking up what customers are willing to pay for these liquors on the Internet and jacking up the prices. This practice keeps most regular customers away and unable to spend money on that kind of inflated prices. Gouging prices on top shelf liquor is not the way to maintain or treat your regular and loyal customers. I wonder if your suppliers are aware of this awful practice. News flash, most these liquors you can get or order through the local Total Wine or ABC Liquor stores in Tampa at or below MSRP which is where I'm heading to get them.. Shame on you!!! read more

Just walked into this establishment nicely dressed and carrying a nice purse, as professional women most often do. I was told I could not enter the store with my purse, I would need to "leave it at the front" with the man at the counter. Yeah.... no.... if they treat their customers like thieving crack heads, that is the only type of customer they will attract. I walked right out--with my purse--and won't return again. I won't be disrespected by anyone, least of all by a low rent liquor store who labels me a thief as soon as I walk through the door. I will purchase my high-end wine and spirits somewhere else, where I am treated with appreciation and respect. Not worth the trouble. This is a lousy business owned by someone who obviously does not know how to attract and retain loyal and honest customers. The Bottle Rack is the only place to shop for your liquor needs. In the Carrollwood area, it's a staple of the local community. The environment upon entering is welcoming and easy to navigate through the variety of selections available. It is much cleaner and better organized that many other local liquor stores. If the ambiance alone doesn't solidify your choice, the customer service will. The employees are friendly and very knowledgeable of the products. They are always will to assist customers to no end. If you're in the Carollwood area, definitely take the time to stop by! read more

The managers of this store towed my vehicle from the parking lot and there were no signs posted that I could not park where I parked. When I confronted the manager he was smiles from ear to ear. When I told him he was going to pay for the towing expense of $185.00 he laughed and said I have cars towed every day from this lot so good luck. I found that if you are in a private parking lot anyone at any time SIGN or no SIGN can have you towed. He has taken it to a new level and actually gets off on towing people just because they aren't shopping in his store. Something should be done about this type of abuse to shoppers of other stores in the strip mall. Millennium towing is his partner and they are on call for him at a seconds notice so beware about shopping in this plaza. read more
