Disappointing Customer Service at Bar Louie (Woodbridge, VA) I visited Bar Louie on July 24 at 6:15 PM and experienced unacceptable service. While sitting at the bar watching a program, host Jay changed the channel without asking anyone. Changing a channel for a table 30 feet away over patrons already seated at the bar is a complete departure from standard hospitality protocol. When I questioned Jay, he explicitly stated his priority was geared toward his table over the customers already at the bar. When I requested to speak with management, Kevin came out from the kitchen with zero interest in conflict resolution, dismissing the issue entirely to get back to kitchen tasks. Because this isn't my first experience with poor service and ineffective on-site management here, these repeated issues need to be elevated to a Regional Director. This week was a week! Decided to come love on my sisters a bit and venture out in their neck of woods for a much needed drank after the week we had. The Love Bird was delicious! I also ordered the salmon sliders and tots! My sisters shared a pitcher of strawberry sangria which was watered down with all the ice it was served in...plus a glass full of ice to pour your drinks lol.... One had a pepperoni flat bread and the other the chicken sliders. They were happy with their selections. I love B-Lou, especially this one. Center city vibes with rural access. Told the Bar guy to surprise me and he did. Tapped into my neat sweet fetish. Got a Dragon Fruit and Dos Sauza Margarita and they were beautiful and deliciously sweet. Paired well with my burger and Calamari which were amazing on their own. The burger was tender and moist but you could tell it was boxed. The bacon stole the show. The Calamari were crispy and seasoned exceptionally well. just recently moved to the area and wanted to try this place out with my boyfriend... please spend your money elsewhere. management and customer service are shit. Ordered the steak frites and asked for my steak to be well done. Waited 30 minutes for it to still be pink so they took it back to redo it. Waited another 30 minutes for another steak to also still have pink in it. I asked for a to go box & for my food to be taken off the check since I didn't even get to eat it. Manager came out and said they'd take it off but I couldn't have the food back, so he took it and said he'd give me 20% off my meal. Then proceeded to tell me the steak was cooked correctly even though there was very viable pink in the middle lmfao. The staff were nice and the venue was typical of a bar but looked high end. It was not too busy and the staff was quick to serve and refill our drinks. I ordered the sliders and tots, they were tasty! I wasn't too hungry so I didn't want to order a lot but I ended up finishing the whole thing! They do have lunch specials, but since it was a big group the specials menu ended up with one guy and the rest of us was oblivious to it so make sure to look it up! It would probably make sense to hand out multiple lunch special menus as well unless they don't really want us ordering from it. read more

They allow the rank environment while hiring sketchy or lazy workers. They do not clean, and bartenders are flat out lazy. I can imagine having to deal with annoying people who are a waste of time, sitting not ordering anything but one drink for 2 hours. Better bartender skills will bring in more cash. Bar Louie has a nice happy hour and the food is always really good. Biggest pain point for us is the service. It is always extremely slow whether it's for brunch, happy hour, or dinner. We've visited several times and have waited up to 15 minutes to even be greeted by our server and even after getting one, some don't check on the table very often which can be frustrating when you need refills on drinks or condiments or just really hungry and ready to get food in. We really enjoy visiting especially when they have a DJ so improving the service would make a huge difference in experience read more

Just had the worst service ever and his side of the bar wasn't busy. Bartender dropped my drink off with a splash and went to talk to another patron on the other side of the bar (not his section) without saying a word. I wanted food which I had to wait another10 mins for him to return and have me scream while he stood at the register.
