My waitress promptly replaced it with a container from a nearby booth. While sipping my coffee, I noticed an unusual texture on the rim. The mug had a slight chip, but I managed to overlook it. Instead of taking my food order when she served my coffee, she immediately left to attend to other tables. This unexpected delay gave me a chance to admire the muffins displayed in the case. When I spotted a Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip muffin, I decided to order a light breakfast and went with the Chorizo Tacos. Holding the tortilla prevent the toppings from falling out was a bit of a challenge. The red salsa lacked heat, while the green salsa provided a pleasant kick. Both salsas had softened the tortillas, making them unable to hold the ingredients securely. My hash browns were my favorite style--crispy on top and moist on the inside. If I had not planned on ordering a muffin, I would have easily enjoyed more than a couple bites. For someone who enjoys the combination of chocolate and peanut butter, the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip muffin was delicious. Most of the chocolate chips were placed on top, with a smaller amount mixed into the batter. If I wanted a less chocolatey experience, I could simply skip the muffin top. But why would I do that?

On my way out did additional customers arrive. The restaurant had changed since my last visit years ago. The door to the adjacent dining area had been permanently removed. Making more available to diners. Sadly, no longer are freshly made muffins displayed by the register. Although I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla with sausage, the quesadilla was made with bacon instead. The corn tortillas were brittle similar to hard-shelled taco shells. The portion was generous as I barely ate half of it. As I was paying, it was awkward being requested a gratuity. The only employees present were the owners. The prices on the menu have increased at least once, so they could be increased again.

They have gone up almost $5 I believe and whoever's Nonna made them, overcooked or microwaved them to death. They used to be SO good! Now, they aren't. We ordered 3 pizzas - the Bianca, the Margherita and the BBQ Arezzo. The Bianca was good, the Margherita was good but a little sparse and the BBQ Arezzo was awful. Like, nobody would eat it awful and that's pretty bad. I don't know if ingredients were bad or what but there was little to no sauce and it was just...bad. So bad that I called and spoke to the manager that offered a free pizza - NO thanks - or a refund. I opted for the refund and because we still have not gotten a refund for the 1 pizza only, I decided to write a review. We have literally been going to Earl's for YEARS and it has always been amazing. I looked past the prices going up because the price of food had gone up but when nobody will eat the food because it tastes horrible or is overcooked and we have spent close to $100, I'm out. My thoughts started to become hazy, and before I knew it, I was huddled in the downstairs linen closet, surrounded by butter and shrimp shells. Luckily, I had a camera, so I rewatched what happened. To my horror, I had gone completely feral, destroying everything in sight. Nothing was safe. I even went into the trash, found the shrimp shells, and rushed back to the closet, where I apparently sucked all the remaining juices and meat from every single shell. But that's not even the worst part. I got a notification, and to my absolute horror, I saw that I had ordered another pound of shrimp and crab. When will this cycle end?
