    Idk?

My friend and I chose this restaurant for dinner. I have eaten their catered food before ; first time eating there. Outside decor looks like a person's house but inside he decor was fancy and nice. So there were tables in each room of the house. Bar was all wood; the hallways has tables too with narrow passages . Fortunately we got seated in someone's living room. Menu was good balance in variety. Italian, seafood and continental. We had the philly steak egg rolls as appetizer. I had the scallops carbonara while my friend had some parm dish. Scallops taste fresh; pasta sauce was a cream cheesey sauce. It was good. Would come back next time for their steaks and dessert. I had forgotten to put my tip on my end of split bill so i came back and gave it in cash. I felt bad.

My parents took us to this place over the weekend and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly, and even joked around with my mother, who is QUITE a handful. I ordered a Manhattan, which was straight up and yummy. A perfect way to start the weekend. Then I got the Seared Ahi Tuna with veggie soba noodles. It was excellent. Next I shared their salad special with my better half and was also impressed. It had walnuts, apples, dried cranberries, gorgonzola, and raspberry vinaigrette. For dinner I had the Salmon which was smothered in a tomato and sausage bruschetta, and sat stop a yummy pile of sauteed spinach and vegetable. Dessert is something I usually pass on, but you don't come by Blueberry Cheesecake every day, and when I heard it came with vanilla ice cream, that got ordered without a second thought. Of course it was great as was the whole experience. Check the place out if you have an evening free. But be sure to make a reservation, because it's a pretty popular with the locals and a great spot for dates.

Pork Schnitzel, Lobster Ravioli Fra Diablo with Clams and Shrimp

All in all, pretty decent food along with great service. Wait staff was extremely friendly and checked up on us often. I had the lobster ravioli and my boyfriend had the pork schnitzel. I wish the lobster ravioli came with more ravioli, I think there were either 5 or 6 total. Our only complaint on the pork schnitzel is that it was served with cold mashed potatoes. So it seemed like the mashed potatoes were pre-made and the chef forgot to heat it up. Overall, good food for this area but I may prefer Oak and Reed if I'm craving American food.

If you don't want your entrées coming out with the appetizers, just give them a heads up, because the kitchen moves fast here. We started with the mushroom dish and a hearty soup...both full of flavor and the perfect start to the meal. Then came the star of the night: the lamb chops. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Everything we tried was fresh and satisfying, the kind of food that makes you want to go back the next day. The service was on point- Friendly and attentive, and the whole space has this quirky, cozy feel, like you're sitting in your grandma's living room with its mix of chairs and warm, homey vibe. It's also BYOB, which is always a win. We brought a bottle of wine that paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, Butcher's Grill is a must-visit if you're in the area. Great food, quick service, and a cozy atmosphere that makes it stand out. Can't wait to come back!

I took a quick look at the ratings and the food photos and that was enough for us to set the GPS for the Stone House. Entering, we were greeted immediately and made to feel very welcome. The dining room was lively but we had a nice table and soon had water and bread, which came with a delicious sauce of some kind that had vegetables and cheese in it. It was so good they should sell jars of it! We ordered some shrimp cocktail to start (those were some giant shrimp, although it was only three and four would have been a nice even number) and then I had the rib eye for my main. It doesn't come with anything so I ordered fries on the side. That steak was outstanding! The flavor, the texture...everything was amazing. It came out on a sizzling skillet and it tasted as good as it looked. It was also so big that I took half of it home for lunch and if possible, it tasted even better the next day. I was very pleased. The fries were also exceptional and even though the serving was big, I ate them all. I couldn't help myself! Since I took half of my steak home, I decided there was room for dessert and the chocolate mousse didn't disappoint. The food was so good and the service was so warm and friendly, I definitely want to go back to Stone House Grill. If you're nearby, stop in for a meal. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Most of the food we had was good or very good. Our server was very nice and provided great service. She even handled the issue that makes this a 3 Star Review very well. The Manager did too. But if you're a respected chophouse, you can't get a steak wrong three times in a row. Frogtown offers a signature mixed grill experience that has a 16 ounce strip, a lobster tail, a crab cake, a few sides (whipped potatoes, long strips of carrots and delicious garlicky mushrooms). It's over $100, but really a pretty good value with all you get. My wife and I decided to split this. I ordered the steak medium rare, which is important to the review. The lobster tail was very good. The crab cake was meaty and good. The carrots were a highlight. The whipped potatoes were good. As was the creamed spinach the table shared. The calamari app (which was a bit heavy on the batter) and burrata app (needed more tomatoes) were both decent. The strip steak was the issue. As our server delivered the plate, she said "when you get a chance, could you cut the steak open and make sure it's done to your liking." I've never had a server in a nice steak restaurant ask me to do this before. It's not a good look. They should already know. I assumed she was concerned it was undercooked. I pressed my knife against the steak. Because I grill steaks, I knew that it was medium well or well done. I said "well, I can tell it's not underdone." I cut the steak down the middle. And it was medium well or well done. I very, very rarely send food back. But at a respected chop house, and at that price, I sent it back. And frankly, it wasn't a big deal at that stage because we had plenty of other food. A manager came out with a new steak. She apologized. Again, I was asked to cut it open. I pressed my knife against the new steak. I knew even before I cut it, because the steak squished as I pressed it. This time -- it wasn't even rare yet. So I had to send it back again. The steak came back. I cut it down the middle of one of the halves. It was a little more done, but it was on the borderline of being rare and undercooked still. I wasn't going to send the steak back a third time. So I ate the parts closest to the ends and sides. The steak was too chewy and underseasoned. I don't know what was going on. Maybe a regular chef was out and an inexperienced person had to step up. In any event, if you're famous for your steaks, you can't have those kinds of misses. Also, the plating of this experience could use a fresh look. Everything was put on the same plate and it was really crowded. 3 Stars
