Awesome hidden little spot in the Village!! The entrance has a bar with 6 seats. For food (get one of the burgers), order at the bar and sit upstairs. Your name will be called to come get your food. Cameron was our bartender two days in a row. He was great! The coolest thing is the beer printer. They pour a proper Irish Guinness pour, and then print cool things in the foam. When in Gatlinburg, we will always stop here! Can't believe we missed it the last few years. Update: we came back again on Saturday. Jess was working! She shared with us that we could put OUR OWN PICTURE on the top of our beer!! We did it.... So many times!! So fun!! Just ask for the QR code laminated square kept behind the bar. THANKS, Jess!

Don't miss this gem lucked back in a beautiful rustic shopping village! The music takes you in along with the decor and lighting. If you want the small bar experience stay downstairs. If you want the Celtic inn, go upstairs and they will bring your food up for you! The banger burger is award winning votes best in Gatlinburg and I can see why. The beef patties are seasoned well, tender and delicious along with the potato bun. The banger burger also has sliced "bangers" which are seasoned sausage, mashed potatoes and grilled onions! While great together, I chose to steal the bangers out and eat them alone as a side. It's perfect if you want the comfort of "bangers and mash" but want to try an amazing burger too. The fries are plentiful and guarantee you will be full after eating just half of this entree. The bartender and server is attentive and took good care of people as they walked in. Don't miss one the tip advisors top 10 eats in Gatlinburg!

    Now that's a Guinness!

Fantastic service; they even recommended another restaurant for the UK food they don't serve. Too kind. Great pub vibe. It's a nice, cozy space with big tables. We liked the tables by the window upstairs. Spectacular streak. Good Guinness. The Banger Burger was indeed a banger. So good! And get some Beer Cheese too; so so so good! We shall return.

In back corner of The Village. 2 floors, small bar downstairs and tables above. Serve food as well.

Only complaint is they don't explain how things work when you order. But we eventually figured it out. You order at the bar, then you wait upstairs and then they'll bring the food to you in a to-go container, which you can either eat there or take it with you. It's a small quaint place upstairs with several tables. It was a little bit of a wait for the food, but didn't mind being able to rest after running around Gatlinburg. Ordered the fish and chips and it was tasty and pretty good portion size.

Pint of Guinness with cool stamp!

Delicious and so much food! I had a pint of Guinness and the Celtic Spice bag. Definitely shareable portions but a fantastic blend of chicken strips, grilled onions, peppers and "chips"! The bartender was super nice and they had a stamp in my foam! So cute! No wait staff but good eats.

This place is a great find if you get off the beaten path. Must visit if you love a good pub and a tall pint of Guin

Worst fish and chips I have ever had

Read online this place had the best burgers in Gatlinburg. My son had one, it was OK. But I made the mistake of ordering the fish and chips. GROSS. An Irish bar is supposed to do this dish well. It's a staple of Irish cuisine. But they didn't even try. The fish was tough because they didn't cook the frozen fillets all the way through. The batter fell right off because frozen fillets and batter doesn't mix well. I do NOT recommend this place. The burgers are not good enough to make up for this nonsens

We were excited to try because of great reviews and this place did not disappoint us. What I like most is the quality matches the price, especially for such a location that curious tourists are abundant. Although burgers are not my thing, I tried my husband's beer burger and it was awesome. The sausage was well done with the taste and texture. And the beer, look at the picture lol. Who can resist that glass of beer? I love my steak. Not the best beef, of course with that price, but not bad. The uniqueness of the pub with decorations is so pleasant to sit and have fun and memorable time with our loved ones. The bartender was super helpful too. It was a perfect experience for us. Will come back, for sure

THis one has a story behind it. Got invited to a drum circle in Gatrlinburg by my girlfriend's son…read more We went out that morning to see Cades Cover (big mistake - it was Memorial Day) and swung back around through Townsend (stopped at Mountain Man to have a craft brew on the way). Knowing we were going up to the arts district, I looked for a place to meet them before the circle and saw there was a Celtic Pub. Only that was the spot where the drum circle was. And, to my surprise, it is the same owner as the Fox & Parrot Tavern in Gatlinburg, one of my favorite English pubs (and currently closed do to a feud with the US government - hope that gets fixed). The place is definitely British country feeling. Very nice tap list, including both local brews and standard UK brews. Heavy wood feeling with a very nice deck outside, which includes some spots under cover (which was important as it rained on the circle and people had to duck in). There is nothing elegant about the place or the food. But that is its charm. The fish & chips were on point, esp. with the malt vinegar. Shepherd's Pie a bit salty for my tastes, but not to the salt lick level. Also came with chips. As for the drum circle, if you are reading this in June 2026, that is every Monday at 6-8 PM through the end of the month. I got some great drone footage of the circle, which I added to this review.

I would never come here if I was in a hurry, but if you have 2+ hours to eat and want good food in a storied place with staff who will treat you like friends, you're going to love the Rampant Lion. NOTES: -In rural TN, it should not surprise you, but be aware that they have Trump displays in the restaurant. -The restrooms are single stall and accessed from outdoor. They're indoor restrooms - just the door to access them is on the outside. (No porta potties) They're solidly clean - just make sure to pack clothing that works for the temperature outside because you might be dipping outside a few times. -Parking lot is small and gravel. Relatively easy to get in and out of though. -Amazing gin selection with staff that *clearly* knows their gins. -Adorable photos of the owners on slideshow of their trip to Europe on the wall. It's adorably and clearly a couple who was on a good vacation. We've had a good chunk of their menu at this point. Pretzels: Delicious beer chese AND delicious pretzels. Quite a bit of food with this too. Bread, Oil, & Vinegar: Wasn't super fond of this one. A ton of oil in a bowl made it hard to get the right oil-to-vinegar ratio. Chicken Pie: Deliciously breaded with super-tasty french fries too. Served piping hot, so it took a bit to be able to eat it without burning myself but a wait well-made. Reuben: Partner absolutely loved it and said the bread was the absolute perfect consistency. SO much meat in there too (though he said it could use a bit of extra dressing). Bubbles and Squeak: Delicious. Just delicious. Zero notes, you should eat it. Beanie Weenies: Home-made right in the restaurant! My favorite thing on the menu. Super savory, semi-healthy (beans...at least?), and served super warm. Comfort food at its finest. Menu in-restaurant was different than online one on a few things.

You'll…read moreavoid a lot of the tourist traffic here with its unique vibe, and you'll come away with a memory of "that cute British pub" when it's all over. NOTES: -This place is run on bare bones staff. I'd guess maybe two cooks and the single server. It is not a place to come if you need quick service or quick food. They're very friendly (even if you're not a local!), but definitely come when you have a lot of extra time. -This place is not accessible in the slightest. You'll need to go up two flights of very steep stairs to make it to the front door. The stairs are on the old side, and I was concerned about one breaking. There is no elevator. -The parking lot is relatively small and shared with a nearby Urgent Care. It's gravel and grass, and people mostly made their "own" spot where they wanted. As this made for a haphazard parking lot with small margins for cars, I wouldn't let a newer driver park here. PROS: -Lots of unique British dishes. We've never seen somewhere serving Bubbles and Squeak and lots of other dishes. If you're not familiar with niche British dishes, you'll probably have to pull out your cell phone to figure out what some of this stuff is - and that's really fun. -Food is really good. It tastes like food-your-mom-would-make instead of gourmet takes on these dishes. It has a really authentic, small business vibe to it. -Unique beers on tap too. You aren't going to find Bud Light or Miller Lite on tap here. All of their beers are unique pub fare. They do offer some of the American favorites in a can/bottle, but this is a great excuse to try beers you wouldn't normally have access too. -Despite the older age of the building, the bathrooms are very modern and very clean. Most gas station bathrooms are in worse shape than the ones here. CONS: -It's definitely a small, "small margins" business, and all of the cons that go along with that. Food took awhile, upcharge for using a credit card, non-focal dishes may have been frozen/reheated/canned, and parking was difficult. That all being said, we're looking to come back again, and the atmosphere (and the taste of their unique star dishes) make it one of those places you'll actually talk about when you're done with your trip instead of forgetting that morning you simply went to Denny's to scarf down pancakes.

The baked shrimp wasn't bad, but definitely not something I'd order again. Strawberry shortcake was decent enough. Our server was very attentive and took good care of us. He seemed quite knowledgeable about the menu when I asked multiple questions. Very nice guy. We started out with fried green tomatoes and then hit the very interesting salad bar. That alone was worth the trip. My wife had the soup and salad combo with crab bisque being the soup. She said the soup was quite good. I ordered the New York Strip steak and added a skewer of shrimp. Here is where things go slightly sideways. The food runner brought my steak and it was a ribeye instead of a strip. I sent it back since it was not what I ordered. He came back with the same steak and said that the cook said it was a strip steak. I had already sent it back once, so I stopped arguing and ate it anyway. It was a good ribeye, but it was not what I ordered. I have eaten enough steaks in 60 years to know the difference. I have deducted a star over this issue. I did enjoy the experience despite the hiccup and would be willing to go back. Just pay attention, folks.
