This is my go to spot in CV for any American food. Sometimes I'll get an occasional turkey burger on wheat bread, but a lot of the time I get just a bowl of chili to go as my dinner. Their chili is he best. They add jalapeños so it has a really good kick. Their burgers are really good too. My only critique is one time I ordered their garlic fries and they don't really mix it. They kind of just dump a garlic mixture on top of the fries so it's not really evenly distributed. Other than that, love it here. read more

I really try to support local businesses, especially when they're just starting up, but Blvd Burger is one I've had a lot of difficulty getting behind. The burgers are okay, the shakes are pretty disappointing, as are the plastic table cloths. It's improved since its rough opening, and it's good if you need a quick burger fix, but there are much better burgers in the area. read more

Great burgers, the meat is delicious, the fries are amazing. All of the food is really worth every penny, even my wife raved about the turkey burger (which, how often does someone rave about a turkey burger?). The one issue here is the tables don't get bussed fast enough. More than once we've walked in and every table is covered in plates from previous customers. Had lunch here today and it was great. Had the boulevard Burger and it was cooked exactly to taste. Brioche bun nice and soft and slightly sweet. Fries were hot with just the right amount of salt. We'll be back. read more

Recommended by a person so my 1st impression was bad as when I walked in it smelled really bad like dirty oil.then sat down eating food, drinking beer which only have 3 on tap which is a bad taste in drake's ipa.then the place smelled again and we walked out too overwhelming. read more

So worth the stop. There are a lot of places that serve good burgers in the area, but none actually in the Castro valley area. Castro valley really doesn't have a good food industry so blvd burger is a great addition. Also amazing to see this building finally being used after it sat empty for so many years. read more

I don't know how you feel about French fries but personally I consider them a staple in my badly balanced diet. We ordered the garlic fries here with some hesitation after some weird experiences and heart Burn. This was an excellent life choice. Blvd burger garlic fries should come with heralds of angels and gilded bells. They fry the garlic into the fries transforming them into crisp packets of heavenly delight. And they come with Ranch bc obviously someone who works there is a genius. The burgers were juicy and sizable. The cheese was excellent and the well toasted buns were the perfect combo for a delightful burger. Awesome. Good job. Wish I found you sooner. read more

We have been here few times and haven't been disappointed. Burgers are excellent, milkshakes are delicious and their fries and onion rings are crispy and at it's best. We love outside sitting BLVD provides for it's customers and ample parking. Price is pretty reasonable too. It's nice to have a really good local burger place in Castro Valley as a go to. read more

Best burger place around CV/Hayward....the burgers always seem fresh with a generous portion. You can also get things other than burgers and they do lettuce wraps instead of buns if you ask. I also like the fact you can sit down and enjoy a good beer while you watch some sports on the two big TV's. Cool vibe, friendly staff, good eats! read more

On a good day this place is great. On a normal visit its hit or miss. Their prices aren't out of line for a gourmet burger but the end product isn't gourmet. My guacamole burger came with brown guacamole. They could do better if they put some quality control in the kitchen and some effort at the front counter. read more

I tried this place when if first opened and it was overpriced for what I got. However, I went back about two weeks ago and this place has picked up their game. Burger was solid, good cook on the meat, ingredients were fresh and what better thing to go with a fresh burger, but a beer. Love the burger joints with beer. My salmon was good. Other than that we had an awful experience with the chicken. Completely uncooked, inside and outside. Burgers were mediocre at best. For a so called genuine burger joint it definitely did not uphold that standard. Will not be returning. read more

Love this place, would totally give it 5 stars but one little snafu- If you order online, it clearly states "Burgers come with tomato, onion, lettuce" (Turkey Burger $7.25 Comes With Lettuce, Tomato, and Onion) so I selected the ADDITIONAL condiments (Choose up to 14 BURGER EXTRAS 1) I wanted (as did my coworker, who was ordering separately from me). When we got our burgers, it ONLY had the ADDITIONAL items we checked off. Sooooooo none of our burgers had lettuce onion or tomato. Obviously, I wouldve checked these things if it did not state that burgers already came with them (I did not want ADDITIONAL onions, tomato or lettuce). An oversight on their end that is more likely to have people thinking they're incompetent or just make crappy, lacking burgers, even though I know thats not the case. Bummer either way, my burger is bland without my onions and tomato and we ordered to-go for lunch at work so we didnt know until it was too late:( Moral of the story, eat in? Or Double check EVERY box of items you want, no matter what their website says. read more

I've been bringing people to your establishment for a long time; went there today and noticed a huge difference in your burgers. Last several times noticed things changing. Seems as time goes by buns gotten smaller, last several times noticed burgers weren't as good; today really disappointed. Seems you're burgers aren't as big good or juicy as it used to be. The others I brought back the last several times all agree. I may have to start going to the habit burger that just opened. Too bad you're burgers are getting skimpy. The burgers are super good. A little on the pricey side. It does seem a bit chaotic and busy behind the counter. I ordered to go and was given a buz coaster. After I started to notice that people who came in after me had their food and no buz I went to the counter. They seemed surprised as to why I hadn't come up yet . When I told them the buzzer never went off they seemed dumb founded. Never once thought to call out the Number? For this they got a stars off. Also condiment counter is messy;crumbs under condiment tubs, and lids for condiment cups did not fit/completely different from each other. Its the small details that count the most as a new establishment. Also condiment counter legs are dirty(grimy). it is obvious that the counter was used. read more

I was pretty pleased with the food here. For a place with "burger" in the name, it was surprisingly vegetarian-friendly -- the black bean patty is very good. The curly fries are also excellent, and they have beer on draft. I'll be back for a reasonably priced dinner out with the family. read more

Not the worst, but definitely not the best. The place is clean, had to shove a couple of napkins under the table leg to stabilize. You order at the counter, get a pager, and when called, go fetch your own food. I ordered a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. Food was ready fairly quickly, looked pretty good. They say they great buns. OK, but I am not here for the bun. Meat was cooked properly, but virtually tasteless. Even after a heavy dosing of salt, there is just no flavor to this burger. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger. Bacon taste good, meat taste MIA. Bun tasty, fries OK. After the first bite, I told my wife that I didn't think I would come back, since Val's is about the same distance from the house, but WAY better and less expensive.
