This is a cute like place with an old-school 50's vibe. When you walk in, it really feels like you just walked into a small neighborhood diner. The staff was great. Very friendly. The food was just okay. It wasn't too expensive and I appreciate that.

The grilled chicken was excellent. I really enjoyed it. I live close by and it is the 1st time I come here and I'll be coming back again. The lady who served me was also friendly. Good place!

Inside, classic diner interior design though parts do need some touch up

50s style diner, most known for their grass-fed angus beef burgers. When I think of places like this I think of checkerboard pattern and red pleather, the interior looks exactly like this. In an odd way at one time it was designed to look 50s but it's aged a bit and is an odd mix 2000s and 50s. We came after a hike and were super hungry and tried some different menu items. Boulevard Burger: I quite like the benchmark certain burger places are setting with high quality beef. You can definitely taste the difference and you can customize these like crazy to hit your taste. Just with the base ingredients it's oversized and you have to smash it down to eat it, this makes the juices run out of the burger and into your hands and plate and the bun ends up soggy. I wish the potatoes they used were higher quality as well. Reuben: They use thinly sliced pastrami that I wish was a bit thicker and had more of the stretchy membrane in between.

I've passed by this street more than a hundred times and for some reason never noticed a burger joint here. They have a tiny parking lot along with street parking. Inside looks run down but like hole in the wall type of place. Sweet potato fries were good. I'm sure it was frozen. The garlic fries tasted like it was left over and fried twice. Onion rings were fine. I do like and appreciate that you can do 1/2 orders. The burger itself was on the well side while the whole burger got really sloppy like it didn't hold it shape. Prices are very reasonable but overall just wasn't impressed (especially with the burger)

I wasn't sure about coming bc the photos didn't seem tasty. But I thought I would take a chance and glad I did. Customer service was great, pricing very good and great burger!

I wanted a burger and my boyfriend tends to always get me what I want lol. We were skeptical about coming because their prices are pretty expensive and we weren't that hungry! We still came anyway, because once I seen the pictures of the food I was determined to eat here! I came in and was greeted by the cooks, then a girl named Erica took my order, she was very nice and patient with me and my very picky order because I'm super picky about my food. Placed my order, she gave me my receipt and let me know how long. 10-15 mins. I went out to the car and waited with my boyfriend. The time passed and ran back in to get it. She then made my milkshake fresh. I asked what sauces they had she named ranch, BBQ & a chipotle I believe. Then I couldn't decide which.. so she goes I'll give you one of each! I thought that was nice. Usually a place would charge but she didn't. We ate in the car because it all smelled too good to leave and wait to eat! Plus we were in the shade! We opened food and everything looked amazing! My burger was plain. I just like meat onions and lettuce with mayo! But omg best burger I've eaten since Sams Burger on e14th if you know, you know! Meat was seasoned it was a pretty big burger! Fries were on point! I loved all the sauces even the chipotle wasn't too bad and I don't like chipotle sauce! Now the milkshake was a disaster it was sooooo chocolatey... I couldn't drink it sadly. I definitely would be back and recommend just know they are on the pricey side!

I like to look for new spins on lattes to see what barista's are whipping up to make things unique. I came in thinking I was going to get a basic latte, but the Borgia Mocha caught my eye! I asked the cashier if it was a good choice and she recommended it. I was a little unsure how the two would blend and how much orange they would use in it, but it came out amazing! Honestly probably one of the top 10 unique mocha's I have tried and it was delicious! I loved the burst of refreshing orange that complimented the chocolate. The flavors danced on my tastebuds like two separate flavors that blended together as one. Each holding their own note that added value to the drink making it unique. I was instantly impressed and wish I found this on more menus! A classic mocha with a refreshing twist of orange was a pleasant surprise! I'm so glad I stopped in for a pick me up! I also loved all the art on the large walls and there looked to be plenty of tables and seating for people to eat and work at.

Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)
