OK I can't believe I haven't tried this place but heard about it for literally two years ago. I am really not a burger person but decided I wanted a good chicken sandwich grilled chicken so I placed an order for pick up and it was absolutely amazing. I ordered they told me ready for pick up in 15 minutes. The Chicken sandwich was literally ready in 15 minutes so I love prompt service and that's exactly what they offered me. It's always huge piping hot and fresh made to order the burger is always juicy. They are not stingy with the toppings that come along with it. You build it yourself it only comes with the meat bacon cheese, grilled onions, toasted on the bun with lots of mushrooms on the burgers side is lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, jalapeños, and avocado and once assembled It is a mighty large, delicious burger. I can never finish it all. always cut it in half but it is totally worth it. With fries included I usually pay around $22. They also make great turkey patties, veggie patties, chicken patties, and every other kind of meat patty to go on a burger along with sandwiches desserts. Came here on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. It was an odd time for lunch so it was not crowded. How very disappointing. It wasn't good enough to be labeled horrible. I have waited for over two years for what used to be my favorite place for a malt. Unfortunately, the years were not kind to the level of food they are now serving at Boulevard Burger in San Leandro. The malt (?) was supposed to be chocolate. What it actually was, was a paper container with milk and no ice cream, no flavor of chocolate and no malt flavoring. What it used to be was a nice soda glass filled with such thick ice cream and malt that the spoon stood up straight in the glass. It had a rich chocolate and malt flavor and was topped by about a half cut of whipped cream. Accompanying it to the table was the metal blending cup that was usually half full. It was so amazing... So, if you want a throw away container of sweet milk, I suppose you can pay a lot of money for it but don't expect a malt. read more

My Mom and I just came back from eating here and let me tell y'all, the burgers were delish! Both my Mom and I had the turkey burger and their turkey burgers aren't like most. They're THICK! What place do you know has thick turkey patties?! Most places have skimpy sized turkey patties but this place does really well with the quality of theirs. The place was also pretty clean being that it is Covid, we couldn't eat inside but it was okay. The cashier was super sweet as well. The portions were great as well! Went in to try a burger saw they made a Reuben sandwich. I love Reuben sandwiches. For $18 you get a simple sandwich and fries and a drink. I don't know how much that makes the sandwich out to me but it wasn't worth the money toasted bread very good, pastrami, very good, but the mash of alleged sauerkraut, and I believe thousand island dressing was less than I was hoping for. I convinced my better half that Boulevard Burger which she raves about would be a better choice then the 3 tacos from Chipolte. I wanted a turkey burger after last night's take out of pork ribs and terayaki flank steak (the meat sweats lol!). The turkey burger ($7.25) was moist and I could see the grill marks on it. Charbroiled I presume with a toasted wheat bun. We split some fries and they were good too. Price point good value for the money plus they offer beer and wine. I am familiar with this type of restaurant. I have been to the one in Castro Valley so I was happy to give this one to try as well. The first thing I noticed is that the restroom is incredibly clean and upscale really surprise me. Secondly, the servers are really friendly and helpful. Their burgers are basically the same as habit burgers I think. Their burgers are made with thicker than usual patties that do not seem overly salted on thick sesame buns with fresh red onion, green leaf lettuce and tomato slices on the side. Their California Burger comes with avocado slices too. Really a nice presentation... And they have a Kobe Burger also That is even more flavorful... I doubt it's really authentic Kobe beef but Wifey loved it. Your choice of cheeses and their fries are thick and not greasy! And finally I was relieved this was not connected with Castro Valley's Blvd., Burger... I've been to that one once and never returned. A bad day at Blvd Burger? I ordered online and clicked on Med Rare for the Calif. Burgers and Med for the Kobe Burger. The opposite was done! Then did they change the beef today? It was not tender and juicy as in the past. Then they did not label the Kobe box and the wrong person got it. A simple "K" on the lid would have done the trick... ugh. 3 issues in one order. The best burger I've had in the Bay so far. I love their burgers-- tastes so different from franchised burgers. I love that you can customize how you want your burger cooked.The fries are amazing.
