Food was delicious and the owner and staff were so kind and lovely. My parents are Thai and they loved the food, saying it was authentic. The Lao sausage was my favorite, and a dish I haven't really had at any other Thai restaurants before. Highly recommend Boun Thai! read more

Nom nom !Stopped by for dinner and so happy we did they changed owners so completely new staff and look but lovely !!Coming in the decor is beautiful very clean and modern right away we were greeted and seated we went with our one year old so we asked for a high chair and the gentleman even put a cushion on my babys seat what a sweet gesture cause it's usually just the wood seat. The food spicy levels is on a scale of 1-10 and we ordered a 3 and spicy but delicious not overwhelming but just enough to tasty the little kick. We ordered the shrimp tom yum and pot stickers , golden tofu , yellow curry , and drunken noodles with chicken. Everything was delicious the golden tofu wasn't a fav just because the pieces are of the small side so when fried its a little too crunchy we like the soft center but still good. Ohhh and we even ordered dessert the mango sticky rice the mango isn't in season so a bit sour but it was the perfect balance with the sweet coconut sticky rice. Staff was supper friendly and welcoming and loved the attention they gave to my son not only did he get a baby friendly plate and utensils but they also went above and beyond and sautéed some noodles from our order without any spice for him. They also have karaoke after 7 i believe the young man sad which would be fun to have dinner and hear singing or even participate hehe .Thank you so much for the AMAZING customer service and delicious food we'll definitely be back for more . read more

This was my second time. My first time was the first few weeks when they opened. I wasn't a fan. Portions were small and taste was off. This time was totally different. Portions were bigger and everything tasted fresh. Let me warn you that they make their spices in house now and it was spicy. A level 3 is like a level 5. It was really good as they kept the ice water coming. Didn't take any pictures cuz we were hungry and in a rush. Service was excellent and restaurant is clean. The strip mall is kinda yucky but this place will keep me coming back. read more

Delicious! Highly recommend. We actually had reservations at another more Thai spot until we realized it was far out of the way and we had limited time due to travel. We happened upon this restaurant through Yelp and were thrilled that we did. Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but very clean and well adorned on the inside. We were warmly greeted immediately and service was attentive throughout the dinner. We started with sharing the papaya salad, which was delicious and acidic, very refreshing. Kids enjoyed the pad Thai with no spice. We had the spicy basil eggplant and the green curry with spice level 3. Both were very flavorful and absolutely spicy enough. To finish the meal we had the mango sticky rice, which was absolutely amazing. Usually when we order this we get a little half ripe fruit sweetened sugar. This serving was heaps of delicious ripe mango and perfect rice. Great way to finish the meal. If we lived on the city we would absolutely make this a regular spot. I highly recommend this for those looking for real Thai flavors. read more

I called the restaurant to explain the situation, and the owner told me that I would have to bring the food back to the restaurant before they would remake it. I was already home by then, and I don't think it's reasonable to expect a customer to leave home and drive all the way back because of a mistake made by the restaurant. What disappointed me even more was the owner's attitude. There was no offer to refund the papaya salad or any real attempt to resolve the situation unless I physically brought the food back. I have been a regular customer, so I expected much better customer service. I will be disputing the charge for this item with my bank, and after the way this situation was handled, I will no longer be coming here and cannot recommend this restaurant to my friends or coworkers.

This is a very chill place to be. Upon entrance, there's an aesthetic garden wall with a welcome neon sign for photos, and a lineup of alcohol on the shelves. There's plenty of seating available, and the waitress was readily prepared to seat myself and my mother. The staff is very swift and communicative with each other, and throughout our time here, have success is promoting a relaxing atmosphere. The other customers present were not loud. There was nostalgia in classic love rock music playing in the background. You can see it has a bit of old school and modern day vibe or energy to the interior, which is neat. I ordered a Thai iced green tea and a chicken khao piak noodle soup. The tea is sweet, but not obnoxiously sweet. It has a very nice balance of green tea and Thai tea flavor profiles. The cup it comes in is a nice touch. I'm very happy to know they had the noodle dish here, and housemade. It is my favorite. I could practically smelled the fragrance of herbs as soon as it was placed in front of me, aromatics are a really good sign. I could taste the fresh chopped ginger, and the heat was well maintained in duration of consumption. We've visited this place a couple of times now. The first experience was excellent; however, this recent visit was a bit of a mixed bag. I decided to try the orange chicken lunch special, but unfortunately, the chicken was incredibly tough and practically inedible--it felt like chewing on tree bark. On the bright side, the sauce was flavorful, and the other dishes we ordered were delicious. I'm a big fan of their fried mushrooms; they're always a hit. Plus, their curry never disappoints; it's consistently great. Despite the hiccup with the chicken, we'll definitely give it another shot because overall, we enjoy dining here. I tried the Thai coconut soup, and it was okay--not the best I've had. What stood out, though, was how accommodating they are for vegetarians. My friends joined me, and they were impressed with the variety of vegetarian options available. The ambience is casual and low-key, which adds to its charm. The highlight of the experience was the service--absolutely excellent and some of the best I've seen in Vegas. While the food was average for me, the great service makes it worth recommending. As soon as we walked in we were already greeted with a 5 star welcome. Service was absolutely amazing! There was only one person taking orders, bringing food out and checking on everyone and even with all that going on we never even had the thought of feeling neglected. We get our food: "make your pho" and a bbq beef bahn mi. The broth, which is typically the best thing about pho, was very bland. Practically no flavor, it's as though they didn't make the broth overnight but moreso the day of OR they watered down the broth. Looking at it, it was very light compared to what I'm usually used to. I got it with the well-done flank and even that didn't have flavor and was dry, loved the size of the slices though! Noodles were too soft to eat with chopsticks. The bahn mi barely had any pate so the bread was extra toasty and there were more veggies than meat. The meat was good though. This is probably the only place I have been to that doesn't sell bahn mi with the Vietnamese sandwich meat, which is our favorite. Now, I like my broth untouched because usually it has a hearty flavor, so I don't add siracha or hoisen sauce into the broth, I have it on the side. I usually add the jalapeños, lime, and mint. When the waiter with the bleached hair refilled our drinks, I had asked him, "do you mind if I could get more limes?" it's one slice cut in half, not even two slices of lime!? He quickly said, " yes, I do mind" and walked away. I asked my friend if that was a joke so we waited and I never got the limes...I guess he really did mind haha. Thought maybe he forgot but at that point, I didn't care to make the broth tasteful, I just wanted to leave. I ask for a box, the waitress packs it for us which is nice but she placed the noodles with the broth (hate that) so by the time it was time to eat it later, the noodles had dissolved and the broth was white and with the dry meat, it was so nasty that I just threw it away.
