I go back and forth on this place, but they've been open several months now so things seem to have leveled out. I typically get the Island Cowboy sandwich because it has all of my favorite ingredients: beef, teriyaki, pineapple, mushrooms, caramelized onions, hoagie roll...I'd probably choose it for a last meal. It comes with fresh cut, super crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside fries, and what they call their secret sauce. I like to speculate on its ingredients and am currently going with fry sauce mixed with BBQ. Whatever is actually in there, I'd eat it with a spoon. The only thing that bums me out about the place is sometimes the food takes an hour to arrive, sometimes the servers ignore you for 30 minutes (they work as a "team" so no one is assigned to your table), and sometimes the food comes out cold (usually after you've waited that hour for it). Tried this place out for the first time after dinner since it seems to be the only bar open after 10 in the area. First impression was not awesome. The logo seems to refer more to a boxing joint then a bar since its a boxing glove. Once inside there are several tables, one long community table , and a large bar top. The servers/bartenders were not noticeable at first because they weren't behind the bar or talking to tables they were sitting down socializing some with eachother other and with guests that seemed to be their friends. We sat down at the community table and realized that the girl sitting next to us was actually a bartender hanging out with some guests. She got our order and went back behind the bar. When she came back she let my husband know that the keg was out and that she would bring his in a minute, but gave him a half beer while he was waiting. Then sat down with another table. About 15 min later she came back and asked how things were and then realized she never brought my husband his beer so she ran back to the bar poured it and brought it back. Not the worst bar service I have ever had, but definitely not stellar! The food seemed over priced for mediocre bar food so we didn't bother munching on any. Probably won't be back, but who knows... it is open late and hopefully the service gets better with time! read more

I recently moved to Sheridan and Bout Time is located close by. I stopped in to check it out. The interior is casual and very much a sports bar. Happy Hour specials are a good deal. Menu offers typical fare and pizza specials. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and was surprised that it was quite tasty, however the dough could have been cooked a minute or two longer to add a little extra crispness. Sunday afternoon during COVID, still a decent crowd with some bicyclists riding the nearby SPlatte trail stopping for grub. I ordered Philly Cheesesteak for my lunch, next time I'll ask for some au jus as it was a bit dry and I didn't care for the kinda 1000 Island mix served with it. Nevertheless, it was very good with lean beef and a fresh hoagie roll, enough sautéed onions & green peppers to make me order it again. My hubby got the chili verde and while he was disappointed it was less a stew as described in the menu and more a soup with finer cut pieces of pork, he still finished it up. My father and I opted to try this place out Friday the 21st of 2018 and as it looked like a good time and fun we were mistaken. Our waiter couldn't get to us in a timely manner and when I say timely manner I'm talking 15 to 20 minutes. The Irish nachos were completely burnt and was something that I could easily make at home with some cheddar cheese, chips and a couple other ingredients from the cupboard. And when it came to me asking for the check after not seeing him for about 25 minutes he spaced out bringing it back when I told him we needed to get to a movie. I had to go retrieve my check from the bar. I am not one to give bad reviews but this was a very disappointing experience and I always give everyone the benefit of the doubt. We went there last night and all new people did not recognize anyone! So i don't like to write negative reviews but hopefully management will read and fix issues. And i understand its only been open a week but they should be aware of these problems. i went in this past Sunday for a beer and meal with my wife, it took about 10 mins for a waitress to come to the table. They were not that busy, the bronco game had already ended, about a half full restaurant. Once she came over , we ordered our drinks, they came in a good amount of time, we were looking at the menu for food and asked for a couple more mins to look over the menu.She never cam back. we waited about 15 mins till she came over to our area again and said that we could have ordered with any waitress. OK. kinda different but cool i guess. though im use to ordering just with whatever waitress is serving our table so if this is the case, maybe inform your customers that they can order with anybody so your not waiting for your designated waitress.. So we place our order and it comes out in the appropriate amount of time. While thats going on a different waitress walks by so i ask her for another beer ( since thats the way im understanding this place works now ) she takes the order and i figure ill have that beer in a few mins..... about 3 or so mins later our original waitress comes by and asks if i need another beer. I inform her that i ordered with another waitress and smiles and says yes its a good system like that... about 20 mins go by, and i see that second waitress doing a number of different things, washing glasses behind the bar, bringing others their drinks and various other things including giving another customer a back rub, ( serious ) but not bring me my beer. So the original waitress walks by again and i let her know that my beer never came. she goes and gets me another beer. By this time were both done with our meals and were ready to leave, when she comes back she says well its a good system when it works. which it clearly didnt in my first experience at the restaurant Usually when stuff like this happens, a waitress will normally bring that long awaited drink and it would be comped. but nope, it was one the bill... i didnt even want it at that point cause my meal was done and we were ready to leave.. Thats not really a big deal but every other place that has you wait sooo long for a drink when there not that busy and it was clearly a mistake on the staffs part , will usually comp that drink.. The food was decent, the prices normal, they do have like 23 tvs which is cool. it was a little loud, the tvs volume was a bit higher than your average sports bar but still not a big deal. A couple of older guests ( senior citizens ) came in and it seemed like they lowered the volume at that point, which is cool. Only other thing i would suggest is that they have some type of way to distinguish who thee employees actually are. ... It was broncos Sunday and i know a lot of places let there staff wear broncos shirts and jerseys on game days which is cool but when 99% of everyone in there is wearing a broncos jersey, it gets kinda confusing on who is an employee.. Maybe order special broncos jerseys that they can wear like the all pink ones or all gold ones or even the camouflage broncos jerseys, so we difference can be made between an employee and guest .. Again, i know it was their first week open, but it doesn't seem like its off to a good start... yet read more

I work in the area and decided to try this place for lunch, so I wasn't drinking but I did notice the poor beer selection. Seems like all mainstream beers. With all of the local breweries in Colorado, it would be nice to have those choices. Atmosphere wasn't bad, but the food wasn't great. Kind of mediocre in too many areas. If mainstream and "OK" is what you're looking for, I think Chili's around the corner is a better choice. read more

Second time here. GREAT food. Come here just for the good food. But stay for the really good beer selection and drink specials. The service is really friendly despite how busy they are! The Club sandwich was the bomb.com. The Buffalo chicken pizza was good but needed more sauce. The French dip was fabulous but the VERY best item is the beer cheese soup. Sooooo good.
