Food, pricing and staff are all amazing. The smoothies and wraps are some of the best I've ever had. Give this place a try!

It's a BYO, so be sure to bring whatever adult beverage you like and they will serve it to you. The mixed appetizer platter had something for everyone. Their hummus is fresh and delicious. Also comes with babaghanoush (smoked eggplant w/tahini, garlic, lemon and olive oil), lebni (strained yogurt w/ walnuts, garlic and dill), & stuffed grape leaves. It comes with plenty of pita bread to spread or dip with. I absolutely loved the zucchini pancakes because they were not at all greasy! We also ordered the Turkish tea and coffee to enjoy there but were too full for dessert. They have something for everyone. Stop in and enjoy delicious food in a calm and peaceful setting. They also give you delightfully scented hand wipes before sending you back into the real world.

I was served water and warm pita wedges; ordered a gyro. Nice ambiance. First I was given an ample serving of a delicious shepherd salad, and I was psyched for my gyro. Served with a portion of warm pilaf (delicious) and a couple of limp lettuce leaves and a wedge of tomato, the gyro meat was mediocre, at best: obviously not freshly sliced, it was dry and tough. As usual, the tzatziki sauce served wasn't enough. Plus the lunch special I ordered was supposed to include a soda, and I chose iced tea instead (which I was charged for). All in all, quite disappointing. Forgettable. Not for me. Once is enough.

The buffet started about 30 minutes later than what we later found was listed on their Facebook page, and the staff didn't seem to know what would be served, so we could just move forward with our entrée. The drinks were fresh, and the food was clearly made fresh too, but having eaten Middle Eastern food in Iraq and Turkey, I was hoping for a bit more spice and depth. The service could definitely improve -- especially communication and friendliness. The young lady serving us came off standoffish, while the younger gentleman who seated us was kind and welcoming but seemed out of the loop. We live about 30 minutes away up on Mt. Bethel and had lost power earlier that day, so we were dressed more for warmth after trick-or-treating -- maybe that's why we felt like we weren't being fully "trusted" customers. We spent almost $200.00 with tip for 4 people. Prices are great! That was 2 buffets, 2 kids meals, a starter and two entrées and 6 drinks. Cool vibe overall, live DJ, and lots of potential.

I arrived just before their three o'clock lunch break and was accommodated by their daughter (who was really friendly and kind). I ordered a chicken shawerma Haifa sandwich, and I watched my pita being toasted over a charcoal fire (she used a fan to literally fan the coal fire). I needed to use two hands, and from my first bite I was in nirvana. I asked and was given a fork and extra sauce. Remarkably good falafel, delicious chicken, and oh, that secret sauce. It's right on Speedwell (a busy street) near a funky intersection that gets tied up quickly. Do yourself a favor and park on a side street a block away: you'll whet your appetite on the walk there, and float in bliss on your way back. Superb. Great value. Just a gem. I will most definitely return and highly recommend it.

We were seated after the people who walked in after us. Some tables received water and no complimentary bread/olives while others received no water but complimentary bread/olives. Our bread was also sitting out for some time as the baker was not present to make it fresh at the time. It appeared very stale. The restaurant was half empty but it took over an hour (in addition to the understood 25 minute maklouba prep) for our main entree to come out. When it did, there was no apology and we had to ask if the accompanying labneh was on its way for the maklouba. The maklouba itself had rice grains not fully cooked. The server was avoiding eye contact as we tried to ask for more napkins, water and an update on our order. It then took another thirty minutes for us to get the check and pay, which was only possible because we got up. We watched as people waited so long to not only be seated but to also check out. The menu has a lot to offer of the Palestinian culture but the lack of service, lack of freshness and lack of efficiency won't have us coming back.

We usually have to wait for 10-15 min before getting seated but it's very much worth the wait. The service was fast and attentive. The interior decor is chic and culturally rich. There are just so many options and I have to come back to try more entrees and drinks.
