It's Locally HMONG own food spot. So I came and try their rice bowls. To be honest it was on the salty side and kinda bland. But it's super budget friendly. I got their spicy chicken garlic bowl. But I will come back to try their other rice bowls as well as their potatoes bowl. Plus it's budget friendly and you can beat that.

Never been disappointed here. Food is always fresh. The customer service is 10/10. You can tell Donovan (the owner) takes pride in his customer service and his food. Ive been coming here for a couple of years now when I need something fast and somewhat healthy since he has the chicken teriyaki plates. He just recently came out with a new dish (garlic noodles) and I had to try it. Overall the garlic noodles were good. It was nothing special but for $5 it was enough to get me full. The place inside is a bit small and janky. So they don't really have a place to sit down and eat besides two small tables outside. I mainly do a grab and go there so it does not bother me. I had to leave a great review on this place.

Pros: Good service. Food was good. Price was fair for portion size and quality. Cons: Hours for store are a bit limited. Parking is limited. Note: Takeout only at the time of review.

I used to come here all the time for the Nameless Potato and the Thai bowl. I moved out of state 3 years ago and I miss it!! I was in town today and ordered both, and they're just as good as I remember! I love and miss this place.

First time there. The owner was very friendly. Got the spicy garlic chicken plate with extra chicken for about $11 and some change. The chicken was so tender and the sauce had a good balance of flavor and spiciness. I'll definitely be going back!

Very basic setup- basically a register and a kitchen. I dined in and ate at one of 5-6 seats. Comfortable enough! Food was flavorful and a they're generous with the portions. read more

Oh. My. God. My husband got the garlic chicken bowl and I got the Thai. We are both so impressed. Simple and explosive flavors. Way too spicy for me and I could t stop eating it because it was SO good. Rice was on point and even the side salad was fresh (simple, but cheap so who cares). Nothing negative to say. This is our new lunch spot. read more

It's okay place for the price, roughly $7. Ordered the Hmong bowl and spicy garlic. I was hoping at least the hmong bowl chili sauce would come with birds eye chillies, but it was just ground chili powder. The spicy garlic, taste like a thick chicken broth gravy with the garlic chili oil (not the oily chili oil, but the thicker chili oil). I'm guessing the chicken is either steamed or boiled? Not exactly sure but it tasted like those 2 options. Not much condiments that comes with the food, so it's pretty much just white rice with chicken and sauce. read more

Bullseye for Bowlzeye seriously it's goooood! I've tried their teriyaki bowl, chicken is good cuts. Thai bowl is my fave tho, flavors are primo! The cheesy potato bowl is also super tasty and is equally good as left overs. All in all, love this place. read more

This is a place that I wanted to try for awhile and I wish I would have tried it sooner! We ordered 3 different bowls. They were all really good. The guys that work there are great. First time at this spot--and we are NOT disappointed! The place is clean and comfortable enough for a short wait for take-out. The 2 chicken bowls were super fresh and had excellent flavor. If I'm within 100 miles of this place I'm going. Spicy garlic chicken is my favorite.. sometimes spicy enough to make a primo tear up. Friendly sideways staff. Very inexpensive food. They cater! This is a great value and good food. We get this a lot for department lunches and the price is always solid. Good is good- good teriyaki chicken. But the nameless potatoes are the true find. Those are addicting!! I could eat a whole tray! read more

An employee was sitting outside, so I ask him what was good today..he suggested the spicy teriyaki chicken, so I went with it. We first had this at a park fair on Clovis and it was soo good. The portions were unbelievably huge and lots of space, chicken, cheese, goodies in it, they were not scarce on the toppings. It was ready in pretty good timing, we didn't have to wait long and it was great to share two meals with our little family so we all got a little of everything and wound bf up stuffed. It was a great deal for the money paid and I would totally have it again if I see them around. read more

I am just amazed. The saying that the best places are just unassuming 'hole in the wall' places certainly fit Bowlzeye. We have been going here for years. When my daughter was in middle school she went to a friends house, they had Bowlzeye for dinner. I food crush was born. 10 years later, we order from here once a month. The owner asks after our family and knows us by name. They are affordable and give you a portion that will satisfy you and possibly give you left overs. The Impossible Potatoes and Spicy Chicken Teriyaki bowls are our favorite. You really cant go wrong with anything on this menu. Yummy! read more

First time trying this place. I was gassing up and noticed it from the pump. The owners are friendly and helpful for the newbies. The menu while having the standard chicken teriyaki bowl also has other unique bowls to keep you coming back and sampling. One of the first customers there when it opened today to get lunch for my Dad, my Sister, and myself. Luckily someone was just getting out because there was no parking (probably a total of around 10 slots for the business corner). There may be some around back, but having never been around this area before, it's kinda hard to figure out how to get there, especially having to deal with intersection traffic . Ordered 3 bowls, wait was only about 5 minutes, although it may be longer when they are busier. Food is probably best for take out as the space is pretty small. There are 3 two-seater tables inside and I think 2 small patio tables outside. Food tastes pretty good, especially the sauces that came with it. I wouldn't mind a little more chicken as there was probably just as much herbs, but once mixed together, not too bad. Will definitely try this place again. read more

I read the reviews, so I thought why not? The food looks good, the price is right, what could go wrong? I ordered the spicy garlic chicken which did not look like the photo and it was bland with a hint of spicyness. (maybe that's why you get extra sauce w/your order) My plate consisted of tons of green onions, lots of white rice and a small portion of chicken. The skin on the chicken was rubbery and I could tell they soak their chicken in dairy milk because it gave me a stomach ache. After I scraped off the green onions, and finished my meal, I left unsatisfied. I'm not here to restaurant bash, just keeping it real. read more

Short version: it's definitely a hole in the wall but it's goooood and well worth it. Long version: When we walked in we realize how small it was. There are Three tables inside, each with two chairs each. So it's not very good for groups. One thing we did notice though is that the phone was ringing off the hook when we were there. Seems like people like to call in orders and take it somewhere else. All the food we ordered was super good. The spicy garlic chicken bowl however was a bit too spicy for us. The teriyaki was my favorite and for $4.99, a great deal. The bathrooms were clean and kept up. Overall, we were very pleased. Great friendly service. The cashier greeted us genuinely and memorized my husband's name, using it several times as we ordered. He was very friendly and happy to oblige with any request we had. We were pretty surprised! We got there around 5:45, and they close at 6:30. While we were there, so many phone orders came in that by 6:10 PM they had run out of rice and potatoes! This place is pretty popular! So make sure you put your orders in before they run out! We will definitely be coming back. read more

I am from out of town and your reviews look good but when I put in 75 bothered I need to know if his Easter west when I called nobody that works for you knows whether it's Easter west they don't know E from Wes they don't even know what cross street they can't help me find a restaurant is therefore I've never made it to your restaurant because the people working there don't know how the hill to tell me to get there can you help them for the future read more

Best spot for an inexpensive teriyaki bowl! This spot is super close to where we live, which is super convenient. I would've never thought to stop here because the corner it's on looks a little run down and it looks as if the businesses aren't open. If it wasn't for my coworkers mentioning it, I don't think I would've ever known about it. The food is delicious, my favorite is the spicy garlic bowl (has a nice kick to it!) & my husband gets the regular teriyaki bowl. I've never tried their potato bowls, but my coworkers rave about how good they are. read more

This place was great! Small and quiet but it leaves such a big taste in your mouth and most definitely fills you up comfortably. I had the Teriyaki Bowl with regular sauce and spicy sauce on the side. It was just the right amount of bowl to sauce ratio, I do wish that I had a bit more chicken or the pieces weren't so big. My boyfriend had a Cowboy Potato bowl with a side of ranch, which he absolutely loved. Real comfort food with great prices and fast service that gets you ready to nap afterwards, we will definitely be back to this very special location. read more

We ordered my 4-year-old daughter a small bowl of rice with broth and chicken; she loved this and kept asking for more! My son (7) went big and ordered pho with squid... he inhaled everything! Ordered 3 bowls, wait was only about 5 minutes, although it may be longer when they are busier. Food is probably best for take out as the space is pretty small. There are 3 two-seater tables inside and I think 2 small patio tables outside. Food tastes pretty good, especially the sauces that came with it. I wouldn't mind a little more chicken as there was probably just as much herbs, but once mixed together, not too bad. Will definitely try this place again. read more

This is my very favorite place to get a chicken rice bowl. I have not had better. The value is tremendous. Not only is it the best place in town-- it is also the cheapest.
