Kai was very sweet and made sure to Tour me around the store to see their vast selection of items for every fandom and even made sure to just sit and chat with me. Box-lunch is a retail store geared towards pop culture such as Marvel, Star Trek and rock music, video game, and stuff like Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes. They have many of the items that Hot Topic carries but I think the quality of the merchandise is better. The company is owned by Sycamore Partners which also owns Hot Topic Think Geek, Talbots, Torrid, Nine West and Staples. Its always fun coming in here to check out where I can blow my hard earned cash on useless things that I never knew I needed. Here are a few things that you never knew you needed 1. A Harry Potter Wand handbag $79 2. A Sponge Bob Square Pants t-shirt $28.9. 3. A t-shirt with the words "Pokemon" written in Aloha Hawaii style for $28.90 4. Went with my sister and my mom in the middle of the day on a weekday to find something for my sisters boyfriends birthday. My mom and I were turned off by how they didnt greet us or seem like they wanted to help anyone in the store when it was us 3 and 2 other people inside. The shirts were just tossed everywhere in the back and if we did need help finding anything we wouldnt have gotten it unless we went up to the cash register and asked for help. Bad service and a messy store. Will not be coming back. read more

This is a brand new store that opened up (this past Wednesday) on the bottom floor near Sephora. Box Lunch sells a good variety of nerdy/Disney/pop culture items. From T-shirts to bookbags to mugs to action figures, it won't be hard to find a gift for a nerdy friend or for yourself. Currently they have a promo where they give you a gift card loaded with money to spend in the store--the value of the gift cards can be anywhere from $10-$100 and it's a surprise. When checking out, you have the option of rounding your total up to the next dollar--the difference/change will be donated to a local food kitchen to help feed the hungry. I normally don't buy clothes and things from novelty stores at the mall, but I love that this store gives back to the community and everyone benefits from the sales transaction so I will happily part with my money here. ;) read more

Miss my BoxLunch in Woodfield IL. after coming in to this Atlanta location..staff (2 gentlemen) looked bothered at questions and inquiries on items. Didn't feel welcomed. Didn't greet me or ask for assistance once either..especially being a boxlunch loyalty member. Good items though as always! Nothing against box lunch as an entity, let's just spruce up the customer service at this location as soon as possible. Maybe it was a bad day but welcoming and happy customer service at all times, that's key. read more

THE BIG BANG SHOP! This little store caught my attention because it seemed very unique and from the outside, it reminded me of a Spencers. Inside you will find a number of t-shirts related to Star Wars, Super Heroes, movie characters, Anime and more. I was actually looking for a Led Zepplin tee and although they did have some classic bands represented, they did not have this particular one. If you like collectible items from your favorite television show, video game or movie, you should check this store as they had collections from Star Wars, Dragon Ball Z, Harry Potters, Zelda and more. This is the perfect shop if you are looking for a gift for your favorite geek, nerd, gamer or average Joe. Great staff ready and willing to assist with any questions you may have. read more

I went to the store 30 days prior, and got two "15 dollar off a 30 dollar purchase" cards. When I came back I was there to purchase a Harry Potter backpack which was $55 and green fidget spinner which was 5$ and got 30$ off, plus $10 off for signing up on their app. The employees were nice and helpful. I recommend this store to all the geeks out there! You can get all the digital trends and fan fictions. Things are expensive but they give out enough coupons you get items for a smaller price. read more

This new store inside Perimeter Mall is pretty cool. Chock-full of fun t-shirts and various toys and accessories. Largely a pop culture store, it's currently full of Disney, Star Wars, superhero, fun old movies, science/nerd stuff, etc. I won't be visiting this mall in future without stopping in to this store. The staff is ultra-friendly as well. Prices seem fair, when you consider the licensing fees on most everything in the store. read more

Box Lunch is the place with the cool stuff. I come here if Game stop doesn't have what I am looking for. However, the quality of the merchandise here is better to me than the other nick knack stores. I will say towards the back it does become a little cramped up and hard to look at the merchandise when there are people looking in the same area. COVID aside...still poor customer service. Guests had formed close blobs of crowds in front of entrance. Two staff members outside too busy catching up to help entire a line and social distancing was happening. Don't recommend this location. read more
