A little less side-eye and a little more pleasantness would probably enhance the customer experience. We asked for a dessert recommendation to take home after our meal, and she said "I don't know, I don't eat anything here." Even if she doesn't eat there, she could have said something like "X is our most popular dessert" or "People really love Y." Nobody needs to wonder why an employee doesn't eat the food she sells. It could be dietary restrictions or it could be something she's witnessed in the kitchen, but nobody needs to know regardless of the reason. The nicest ambiance is on the patio, so I recommend that if the weather is nice. The main dining area is nothing special at all.
