Of course I had to check out some local BBQ while I'm in Texas (Duh). Love the esthetic of this place that felt more like I was visiting a buddy's house where the drinks were in coolers and the layout facilitates more of a community vibe. The brisket had an incredible bark, ribs were flavorfully rich and as I get older I really appreciate a well smoked chicken thigh (this one was DAMN good and succulent). Excellent meal!

There's a certain poetry to Texas BBQ, smoke stained pits, picnic tables under oak trees, and sauce that's more religion than condiment. Two Bros BBQ gets the set dressing right. But like an indie film with a killer soundtrack and no plot, something just doesn't stick. The Big Bro Sandwich looks like a linebacker dared a pitmaster to dream bigger. Pulled pork, chopped brisket, sausage, and a hit of slaw stacked so high you need a game plan just to take the first bite. It's messy, rich, and hits like a smoked freight train but about halfway through, it turns into noise. No clear standout, just a meat medley in search of balance. A decent bite, sure, but it lacks the soul of a good brisket cut singing solo. Now the Frito Pie is nostalgia in a boat, but more like a dusty roadside diner remix than a hometown classic. A childhood favorite that showed up late, still it scratches that guilty itch, especially if you're already a few beers deep and not asking for much. 3 stars, because the place has charm, the smoke rings are real, and the kids running around chasing bubbles in the yard give it life. But if you're coming in looking for transcendence in a bite, keep driving. San Antonio's BBQ scene has deeper cuts.

When I walked in I was greeted with a friendly hello and patience while me and my wife decided what to eat and oh my goodness let me tell ya' Absolutely amazing, the brisket is everything you'd hope for and more. Choices are limited but what else do you need? Everything is amazing. Thank you two bros for feeding us :)

First time here, actually chose this place over Pinkertons since all they sold was individual and not plates, well that's all they sold here too smh ‍ decided to stay since we already came about 30 mins to get here. The food was ok, the brisket was a bit dry and lk other ppl stared no flavor really on anything, but the ribs I liked. u def need the bbq sauce. Too dang hot inside, they had an ac unit that wasn't plugged in, a fan pointed to the floor and the ceiling fans literally wasn't giving air. They need to find a new way to distribute their straws and utensils, lk sorry but that's gross having everyone's hands grabbing what ur putting in ur mouth. I took my utensils to the rr and washed them with soap and hot water. We got one of the family meals and added poppers that were good and some cheese sticks but they were cheesy or cooked all the way u could still see the stick of mozzarella cheese that wasn't melted all the way.

3 different sauces (I liked the top and bottom one)

This place is a GREAT place to bring your kids and hang out. We stopped in to pickup some food and my son immediately asked about the playground so we audibled and ate there. The big bro sandwich was awesome - 3 meats, pickles and slaw...just awesome. We also got the ribs, they were okay, a bit small...but then again, for $12 for a serving it's worth it. I didn't think anything was earth shatteringly good, but it was all solid or better for a great price at an awesome location. We will absolutely be back with friends and more kids so they can play.

I stopped by this place for lunch earlier this week, and it was a real delight. First time trying it out, and I was stoked to see grape Koolaid on the menu! The food was all pretty fantastic too. All the dishes were tasty, the meat was super tender, and the sides were all winners. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They have inside & outside seating as well as a play area for the kiddos. I'll definitely be back, and you should totally check it out if you haven't yet! Ambiance of the establishment was very welcoming.

! I had a great experience with two brothers barbecue! I came into town. It was craving some Texas barbecue. This place delivered! It wasn't very busy the evening I went, the staff was super friendly. The food was amazing. I got the brisket, sausage, Flaw, and spicy cream, corn. As good as the meats were, corn is my favorite. Great barbecue in San Antonio. I hope I get to come back soon.

Excellent food and service , I'm not from here I'm from Louisiana, tried some from down there and this changed my entire perspective of brisket I'm grateful for the experience.

Looks good, but terrible tasting, the beef brisket has all fat parts, making me sick, unable to eat, also horrible service! Not coming back. Looks good, but terrible tasting, the beef brisket has all fat parts, making me sick, unable to eat, also horrible service! Not coming back.

Two Bros. is my favorite TX bbq spot! It won me over from the moment we walked in. I am no bbq expert/connoisseur whatsoever but good (quality) food is good quality food. I recently had a new found appreciation for bbq while living in FL a few months ago, I attended a foodie event and met a bbq pit master. I learned a thing or two, mostly to appreciate the time and patience it takes to make good bbq (you can taste it). I prefer ribs over brisket but I usually get both. At Two Bros. my hubby and I ordered both the brisket and cherry glazed baby back ribs. For our sides we ordered Mac & cheese, coleslaw and stuffed jalapeños. The ribs and the Mac & cheese were the highlights for me! The consistency and viscosity of the cheese was exactly how I like my mac & cheese. I love that their side portions are the perfect single serving. The cherry glazed ribs were absolutely delicious but I would say a little less charbroil on the rib would maybe compensate and make the meat a little more juicy. Still absolutely delicious! The brisket was a bit dry for my liking but very flavorful. Coleslaw was ok. I prefer my coleslaw more finely chopped but the taste was good. The stuffed jalapeños are filled with cream cheese and wrapped in thick, crispy bacon. You get a delicious smoked taste in every bite. They have huge "Home Depot" jugs for their drinks (sweet tea, iced tea, lemonade) and they also have a pickle station which I love and appreciated! They have pickle chips, pickle chunks, pickled jalapeños & carrots and onions. Overall our experience here was fantastic! The service and ambiance are the epitome of southern hospitality! Pricing is very reasonable too! I Love everything about this place and I cannot wait to return!

Their bbq was actually quite good. The smoky aroma and flavor were there with the brisket and pulled pork. The pulled pork was one of the best I have eaten. Side wise fried okra was pretty good, interesting that they made it with some moisture. The vinegar lettuce was terrible (I left it mostly), what the heck is that? Southern cuisine sometimes is unbearable. What I didn't like was that they were already running out of food at 8pm Friday, does kitchen close that early? I didn't get juicy but lean brisket, because it ran out (lean was also almost running out), and no more ribs, so I had to go with pulled pork. The place and location was almost not so nice, I thought that was typical San Antonio and it felt like in a bad part of town.

We arrived around 5pm on a Thursday and got in queue which was out the door and wrapping around the front porch. Their host/doorman was kind, he offered the line water on many occasions and made pleasantries with almost all guests as the line moved. It was a hot day so those waters were clutch. By the time we made it to the front of order line maybe 40 minutes had passed. But ladies and gents the wait is worth it. When we plated our trays on the table my family all had heart eyes, and had equally loved our first bites. Their brisket is extremely tender. It's beautifully sliced and made for an amazing welcome back to the South taste for me. I was in heaven. I particularly enjoyed having the fresh pickled red onion for fresh, zesty cuts through the abundance of other saltier elements on the plate. Their menu is slammin! Their sides, and sausages all had crafty ingredients. I enjoyed their spicy link options and their macaroni was delightful. Their BBQ sauce was a nice 4/5 but certainly did the job. As a native Texan who's had their fair share, this was easily some of the best barbecue I've ever had. Top 5 top 5 top 5. I'm of course coming back and looking forward for more banana cream pudding especially. They were small, slightly sweet, and had great balance with the vanilla wafer ratio. That whip cream on top too had me hooked. I couldn't have asked for a better welcome back meal for the bold Texas cuisine, hospitality, and novelty animal and cowboy decor.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between laid-back Texas charm and a lively River Walk experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. I ordered the three-meat plate with the sausage, second-cut brisket, and smoked turkey, and every bite was outstanding. The brisket was tender and packed with smoky flavor, the sausage had the perfect snap and seasoning, and the smoked turkey was surprisingly juicy and flavorful. The baked beans and mac & cheese were fantastic sides that complemented the barbecue perfectly. To top it all off, I had one of the best mango margaritas I've ever tasted--refreshing, smooth, and the perfect pairing for the meal. And don't even think about skipping the complimentary bread with honey butter. It's warm, fresh, and absolutely to die for. Between the incredible food, excellent service, and unbeatable River Walk atmosphere, The County Line was one of the highlights of our trip to San Antonio. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again and will absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Five stars all the way!

Favorite item was the Alamo huevos rancheros. This was a rare treat to enjoy a dish with brisket, cheese, and salsa without some kind of heartburn afterwards. Texas waffle: was one of the best waffles either of us has had in a long time Blueberry pancakes: very good. I really enjoyed the stewed blueberry Chilaquiles: this we felt was the only miss.
