Would you shop at that store? No, of course not. Well this company does exactly that. They refuse to give you a cost estimate, no matter how basic the job or how detailed you describe the problem, until you pay them $70 to come out to your house. Dear Yelpers, please please do NOT normalize this greedy practice by giving this company or any company that does this your business. They'll say it's a standard industry practice. It is not. There are many honest services out there that offer free cost estimates and don't try to manipulate you to buy their products. They'll also say the fee is to compensate for the time that the technicians spend coming out, but that's just being dishonest. That $70 sure as hell ain't going to the worker. If they're being dishonest before you even hire them, think about what else they'd be dishonest about. Please stay away. I don't want to live in a world where I have to pay money to know how much something costs.

Recently I had this contractor build an under deck concrete patio and install the ceiling panels. I…read moremust say that his concrete work was extremely poor - uneven and multi color concrete slabs, and he seemed very inexperienced in doing this kind of work. He admitted that some of the concrete slabs are not done correctly and the only way to correct those imperfections is to take out all the concrete and start over. Without any guarantee that if he redid the concrete work it would come out any better, so we decided to leave it as-is and to later have another contractor install pavers or stone over the concrete to make it look better. Undoubtedly, this will end up costing me additional money as a result of his poor workmanship. For the ceiling work, he did not finish sealing the area around gutters in order to prevent birds from getting inside the ceiling, but wanted to leave for 2-weeks to work on another project. He requested that I give him full payment with a promise that he will comeback and compete the unfinished work. I took him for his word and paid him the full amount. Now that he has received all the money, he refuses to comeback for competing the work that he left behind. I have never come across any contractor to be as dishonest like him. I will never use or trust this contractor again for any of my future projects nor will I recommend him to anyone for their projects. This contractor begged me to provide him 5-star review to help his business, but that would defeat the purpose of this review and potentially misguide others with false reflection of his true quality of work and ethics. They showed me the work once it was done, and made sure not to leave until we had plugged back in everything inside the house and made sure it had all come back. It was a masterclass in customer care. What do I mean by this? I had asked that the breakers in my box be identified with which part of my home they turned on/off. We bought the house as a flip and my home inspector missed that almost nothing in my breaker box was properly identified to a part of my home. Abby did this-using a labeller. I can easily identify what is linked to which part of the house. No having to guess a person's handwriting. It is such a relief to open the panel and immediately know what connects to where. And she carefully walked me through-twice-the newly identified breaker labels. When Abby set up motion sensor lights for the room where I have my furnace to replace bulbs operated with pull chords, she asked me first which setting I wanted the sensors on before installing them. Plus she left me the instruction manuals. She did not need to do this. she went the extra step. Jorge did a beautiful job in my laundry room and where once I had a hanging by a wire, ready to fall light fixture that never gave out that much light to begin with, I now have a bright LED light under which even the smallest stain will stand out for me to apply some shout prior to it going into the washing machine. Every step of the way their individual professional know how was on display. They treated my home as if it were their home. And that is the feeling all of us as homeowners want to be left with.
